I writing this review for the shop at the 200 E Yosemite. The service wasn't bad, but I could tell the guys didn't want to change the light bulbs because it was going to be a difficult task. You see, the headlights been broken for the last five days, but apparently it was working jus fine during their inspection . I am giving 4 stars to "Chai" because after i paid and brought to their attention that the headlights still weren't working, he made sure that it was done right. read more

I just had to take a second and give kudos to the gentleman who helped me about 5:15pm today at the V Street location in Merced! Needed air in one tire and want doing it right myself so I pulled in to this place right after work today for help. He put air in my tire right away and showed me where I could check the psi needed inside the door of my car and how to correctly attach the hose to the tire. You rock!!! I came in from Sacramento, just stopping in merced for the day before heading to LA. I had to cancel my oil change appointment in Folsom because my timing changed. When I got to merced, I went through yelp to find a place with good reviews to perform my oil change. Peter was amazing from the moment i pulled in. He opened my door, walked me into the office and offered me coffee/ water. He took the time to explain the different oils and what was recommended for my car. I went with the conventional and didn't feel pressured to go with the more expensive one. The guys working on my car (Frankie & someone else) were fast and professional. I had the best experience at this establishment this past Friday. I went in for an oil change they opened my door for me leaving and coming. I got the high mileage oil and change my air filter. If you check online jiffy lube usually has coupons that the store will honor, so definitely do that before you go! Also, the vacuumed my car & cleaned my windows which was a plus! read more

I wouldn't even give it a star but it required me too. I had my last two oil changes done here and they never changed my oil filter. Recently I had to have some work done and when my NEW mechanic pulled out my oil filter and checked my oil it was almost syrup like and black The old oil filter which was just changed (suuposedly) on Sept 1 of this year, appx 3000 miles ago, had dents in it. They aren't changing oil or your oil filter and still charging you for it. Never again will I be a customer of any sort of jiffy lube. They almost cost me an engine!!! read more

I have been to this jiffy lube 3times in the past year and this last time the manager himself worked on my car I received an oil change and they were supposed to flush my transmission fluid and add radiator fluid because it was really low, well two weeks later I'm driving on the interstate with my two small children in the car and it overheats, well my car had No radiator fluid at all, I fixed that problem myself but now my check engine light is on hmmm I wonder.... Overall a great experience for oil and transmission fluid change! The staff was friendly and informative throughout the whole process. Any questions I had they immediately answered. Lazy or ignorant worker, I took my 51 Chevy there to get the oil changed( it has a 70's 350 small block Chevy engine, only about let's say 2-3 million of these most common Chevy motors throughout the country, told the ya-hoo that it was a 350 Chevy engine and he says ---are you ready?--- uh, uh , don't think I have a filter for this, I say--- IF YOU DONT HAVE A FILTER FOR THIS YOU SHOULDNT BE IN BUSINESS, dumb ass lazy backward employee, who will eventually help the owners close the doors --- needless to say I will NEVER GO BACK and stands to reason why local people should do business with FAMILY OWNED AND RUN BUSINESS's, which is where I went, Tire World, they do service as well!! read more

My experience at this Jiffy Lube was very poor, no hussle to get me in and out quickly everything was very relaxed 40 mins is alittle absurd when there are a total of two associates and a assistant manager working. They flew threw the paperwork and moreless wanted me out right away but didnt do half of whats requires on a Signature Service which is there main push. Maybe because its a fleet vehicle and the assistant manager I quote "because its just going to get dirty again" thats why they skip alot of the steps...I call BS! If your getting paid $12 an hour you do your very best not this halfass bs... The washer fluid machine was broken(invoice) said topped off Window(s) washed the front only Outside of this place I give it a "0" effort bird poop everywhere in front driveway and walkway... excuse from by assistant manager "someone left the pressure washer out" management won't get another one... After I finished with my oil change, I signed the credit card bill and left since I trusted the charges. Halfway home, I started doubting the charges, so I called back and asked more questions. The man I spoke to was rude and could not explain the cost breakdown clearly. He also said I could have asked for a discount before the service was done. What kind of business practice is it to overcharge your customers and then blame them for not having negotiated beforehand. I was so disappointed and asked how much he could refund me and he said $5. I then told him I didn't want to waste my time and gas for that amount. I told him I'd write a negative review on Yelp and he asked me not to and that he'd refund me $10. I went back and I spoke to a man who explained the charges. Then another guy came out, who must've been the guy I talked to on the phone, and said that his manager told him that since I signed the receipt, I was liable for that amount and they could not refund me. They are bullies and do not keep their promises. I would never go back there again and I would recommend to always check and question before signing the receipt. read more

Do not waste your money. As a former employee, I assure you the employees at all locations in Merced and Atwater do not know what they are doing. They are pressured to sell services based on mileage ,recommendations from who? Jiffy Lube of course. If you check your owners manual, you will find total different mileage intervals. ALSO, be aware, they always try to sale you synthetic oils when most cars do not need it. I am no longer working there because I have integrity and I could not continue butting heads with the new owners who are trying to bully their way into making employees do services they have no idea how. The new owners are also trying to get into the brake business! PLEASE don't let them work on your brakes. They are not ASE certified and are falsely using ASE certifications from people who are not even employed by the company. When they issue coupons, make sure they don't add " additional charges"... all I can say is beware and stay away! If you want your car to last and not have any problems, do not let this "J Team" touch your card read more
