My brother went in for general car repairs and maintenance totaling $2,500 only to find out a week later that the entire frame was rotted and unsalvageable. The other mechanic he went to said "If you hit a pothole, you could literally lose the entire vehicle". The people at Midas MUST HAVE KNOWN about this issue for the following reasons: 1. If you're a half decent mechanic and you did anything which required putting a car on a lift, you would have noticed this issue (part of the $2,500 worth of work required this). 2. The people at Midas REFUSED to do an alignment which the customer specifically asked for. Once he went to another shop, they told him that it would be impossible to do that work due to the extensiveness of the rotting / rust / other associated issues with the vehicle. The mechanics at Midas have not one iota of human decency, and I hope this review helps consumers seek alternative shops for their automotive care. No one in their right mind would do $2,500 worth of work for a car they knew would require an additional $4,000 above and beyond the value of the vehicle, and that level of transparency was purposefully shielded by the management of this organization. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
