NOTHING was put back together right inside the engine, the liquids ran out & all over, & it wasn't cheap.. Then again, the day after I drove 90 miles out of town (after they rechecked everything again) . On my way back to Mason City, my engine blew up. Was not repairable at all!! I was stranded in the freezing cold weather/inside of my car with my 2 little girls to wait hours on end for a tow truck... My car was in great shape b4 we went there.. Not 1 apology said, not 1 word of help came from anybody inside that shop They told me "that's too bad"!! Do not go there unless you are loaded financially & want to see the car you drive now, crap out..

I tell…read morehim that I have Cooper tires and give him the numbers he needed to have 2 ready for install the next day. The tires took only about a hour to replace and I paid and only noticed the amount due on receipt. On my way home, I looked at the receipt again and noticed that the words - Tiger Paw- were on the receipt and not Cooper, the brand that Craig and I had discussed on the phone the day before. I immediately called him and asked what happened. His excuse was - "I've never heard of Cooper Tires and I have no idea where I would even buy them." After over 10 years of going to Cresswell Auto Repair, I am done. I tell everyone about how honest he is and in reality he is a liar. I will never go back there. He deceived me and sold me tires that I did not ask for, after assuring that he would have the Cooper ones the next day.

Already Diagnosed from a photo I sent earlier, they were right ** They were Up front about the parts, labor etc, ended up being a little less than the quote. Wanted Half up front to start the process, understandably. It took me a few days to come up with the rest, to pick it up (there was a cute little care package thank you gift on the seat waiting for me btw) they didn't charge for storage (some shops in MN do) They were willing to work with my time line, and budget, they kept me informed and answered all my questions. Im thankful I chose them, as a female who travels solo it can be a total nightmare when your car breaks down, too Many crooked mechanics trying to rip you off assuming you don't know any better. ** I cross checked the work order with my mechanic/FWB in the cities, and they did exactly what was needed- didn't try to inflate the cost or cut corners. thank you!

Was then told I needed some other work done which was new gaskets, plugs, wires and a control arm for my front right wheel. I asked if it was OK to drive in which stated it should be fine in the mean time until I get some extra cash. Stalled on the highway the next day. Took it back, They wanted $500 for a new distributor put in. I wanted to pick up my car have it towed to my house and replace the distributor myself. Called on a Friday was told my car was in pieces and agreed to wait an extra day to come pick up. Come Saturday they are closed. Called back Monday and my car is still in pieces. He then explained it would be around 45 min to get back together. Took it home, Installed new distributor and still no start. Spent days trying to figure out what it could be. Finally broke down and bought a new car. Sold my old car for scrap to a person who then tells me it was not starting because there was missing spark plug and runs fine now. Why was my car missing a spark plug when I got it back? I have no words for the level of frustration this business has provided for me.

A bearded younger guy, sorry I cant remember his name and another guy "Donnie" who had been with the company a short time and was still in training showed up within the hour. They arrived and immediately got to work. Put an inter tube in the tire and had the job done in less then an hour. Cleaned up the tire and the area. Checked air in other tires. Mentioned the front tires would need swapped out soon, asked if I wanted a quote and I said sure. Guy called the next day. Overall the guys were professional, friendly and very courteous. Price was fair for repair and the new tires quoted. Great experience.
