They took time out to help me and my Veteran father crawling under the car without a lift or a pit, and didn't charge anything. This place is the worst. Number one my husband is a Veteran and a retired police office. We took our car for service and they left the top part off off our engine and it ended up in our radiator fan and the air filter was open. Thankfully Hyrum Tire for free took care of it. The manager said he would give us our money back if we brought out receipt back. We did and he said it will take awhile for the money to be put back into our account. This has been several months. We do not want them ever to touch our car again. The manager now will not give us our money back. I had already told the manager that Hyrum Tire did not charge us anything. I have posted his email. My husband has been really sick this last year. And this place is taking advantage of senior citizens who have worked hard their whole lives and try to be honest in dealing with others. read more

When you first walk into the office, there is a sign stating that if you would like the Jiffy Lube prices you can scan the code to find what everything costs. I scanned and found that an emissions test costs $15. Then, when I was being checked out, it turns out emissions costs $30. I feel as if the office carries a sign with specific prices, those prices should be honored in the establishment. read more

I actually decided to let them do a flush and put in new fluid. Long story short they referred me to the dealership. The male staff was rude, condescending and extremely unhelpful. I will never go back! The sales rep offered to get my windshield wipers replaced and said they were comparable to Walmart's price (Jiffy Lube charged double). I asked for them to fill my tire pressure because they were low, the sales rep said he could do this... they sent me my receipt to my email and it said I declined to have my tire pressure filled - WHY WOULD SOMEONE DECLINE THIS? I'm guessing they forgot and didn't want to drive the car back into the bay to fill the tires. My car didn't look vacuumed after and they forgot to put a new sticker up. I called 5 times after to ask about the tire pressure and the high price they charged me for the visit and they would not pick up any of my calls. read more

I've been to Jiffy Lube twice in the last eight years. The first experience at this location was to get a change and inspection for registration. The oil change turned into an upsell on a radiator flush and one other thing thing I "desperately" needed according to them. That should have been my hint. I was then told I needed new wipers an a small list of other things that they could offer for me to pass registration. I guess I should give them props for the upsell. Because at this time I was quite wary and simply didn't believe them, I took my car to another shop (after paying them more than a couple hundred for the other things I "needed"). I learned from the other shop that my wipers were fine. A few years later after swearing off Jiffy Lube I went back after being in a hurry. Just the change this time. A day or two later my engine check indicator came on and I decided to take my car to Ted's (who I completely trust). Ted Quickly found that Jiffy Lube didn't put back the air filter. So, sorry Jiffy. These may have been two isolated experiences with over zealous or lazy technicians, but I won't be giving you a third strike opportunity. I'm done. read more

This is the third time I've been to this location and my wait time has never been under an hour. In fact, the last time I called ahead and asked how long it would take to get a transmission flush and was told 30 minutes. I waited for almost 4 hours for my car to be done! Although all the staff was friendly, I witnessed 3 other customers give complaints to the technicians and manager about misinformation regarding part prices (overcharging them) and wait times that exceeded 2 hours for a general oil change. Went to other jiffylubes for my car maintenance and never had a problem (longer waiting time doest bother me too much). Went there for an oil change and I found my dodge intrepid emergency brake handle was broken after the service. I talked to the manager and called/visited a few more times to follow up, but they never had it replaced. I sold the car 1-2 months after that so I no longer need to have the issue resolved, but this was a very negative experience and I probably won't ever go there again! read more

We took our company truck to this location to be serviced and get a battery change. They assured us they were doing overall check up to make sure everything was updated and running properly routine maintenance. They change the battery and some filters. We spent $700 there, after we left their business with the vehicle it broke down 20 miles away from their shop. We had to pull over and leave it on the side of the road in Beaverdam, conveniently we were unable to get a hold of them for the majority of the day Apparently their phones don't work for their business, someone went by there and the mechanic who worked on the vehicle gave them their cell phone number so we can contact him directly. The mechanic instantly informed me (when I told him that the truck would not go over 10 mph and said low engine pressure) that it wasn't their fault literally without even letting me finish my sentence. When I informed him we had never had any problems with the truck before he said "we could pay to have it towed to Jiffy Lube but it probably wasn't their fault if it was their fault he reimbursed us for towing but they simply change oil and don't really do a lot of repairs". There was no way I was going to waste money to have it towed to a place that has already informed us it's not their fault and they're not very knowledgeable to do auto repairs. I contacted an actual mechanic who were amazing! They gave me the number of a tow truck driver who gave me a discount for towing it 20 miles back into town they instantly found that the repair was due to a Jiffy Lube error fixed it for us immediately and didn't even charge us because of the change of circumstances that it happened. They even stayed late after closing to ensure that everything was fixed they drove it around and then waited for us to come pick it up. I cannot say enough good things about this other automotive company Who I left a very great review for! I was also informed by the mechanic that someone without authorization signed a waiver that if we take it to any other mechanic and it was Jiffy Lube's fault then they would not take any responsibility for their companies error or the inconvenience that they put us in. The fact that they have to have that waiver for somebody to give a second look at their work is shady in itself. Hopefully this company gets it together puts a little bit of pride in their work before they work on anyone else's cars again I would hate for someone else to be put in that situation. read more

Charged $50 for "Signature Service" but was given a mess to clean up. Drain plug was loose and was dripping oil and used oil covered the back of the engine, suspension, and drive axle causing more drips and puddles. Engine over-filled by 1 quart (I suppose to compensate for the loose drain plug?). New oil was spilled on engine top and not cleaned up. Windows and outside mirrors were "cleaned" with an oily rag causing difficulty in seeing. Interior was not vacuumed (if it was, I could not tell). Requested "mechanic" to push loose O2 sensor wire clip back into place. Said he would but did not. This used to be a decent service center. Something bad has happened there. The south Logan shop is worse, bad attitudes. read more

They work quickly and performance is mediocre. They try to get you to repair every single thing even things that don't need repair. They tell you one price but when you pay the price goes up by 20%. Not as bad as the north Logan jiffy lube but at least they'll get you out quick. read more

I went here for an oil change and state inspection. I left with 7 engine error codes, my dash warning lights lit up like a Christmas tree, and the vehicle stuck in 4x4 low. No explanation as to what happened and they STILL passed it on the safety inspection. Turns out they damaged the transmission control module while cleaning my battery terminals with a corrosive liquid. All in it was just under $1k of repairs and I had to have the vehicle towed to the dealership in Centerville. The regional manager refused to cover any of the expenses, instead offering a free oil change. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR ANY REASON. Small claims court case is pending. read more

I came in for a safety and emissions test for the state vehicle registration. After waiting for 30 minutes in the waiting room, a technician checks in with me about the services I requested. They had my car all prepped for an oil change but I wasn't there for an oil change. I let them know (again) that I was there for a safety and emissions test. I suspect they either already did an oil change, or were in the process of doing an oil change when I corrected them. After over an hour and a half wait, they tell me that something is wrong with my car and they cannot do the emissions test. I was told to see my mechanic and come back for the emissions test at a later date. I was already really annoyed at my previous encounters with the technicians and the long wait, so I didn't ask any follow-up questions. I ended up taking my car to Big O Tires in Logan for the emissions test, which went completely fine without any issues. I suspect that Jiffy Lube wasted a lot of time performing an unnecessary oil change on my car and were too lazy to complete the emissions test, so they lied and said it couldn't be performed at all. At the very least, they did not charge me for an oil change or emissions test, however, I will not be going back. read more

We went in for a safety inspection and emissions test. After waiting for what seemed like forever! Someone came in to let us know that (of course what they say every single time) that our air filter was bad and a rear center brake light was out. Which this brake light come to find out was $230. We finally ordered it. Fast forward two more days my husband is following me somewhere in town so I can drop my car off and guess what. The brake light is just fine! Not out at all. We went back in to jiffy lube to show the manager Justin (same person who did the inspection) and he goes "well I don't know what you did to get it working again." He is rude and arrogant and basically said it was our fault. They are dishonest and these chain mechanic shops are horrible and they can't even consider themselves real mechanics. DO NOT GO HERE! So i was in your store on Friday I believe and I have to tell you it was absolutely ridiculous. The one in Providence or S. Logan. It's kind of on the border. Anyway, I took notice of the one manager named Jennifer. I don't usually make it a point to notice the names of employees at places like that but it was an absolute nightmare. I was legitimately getting angry. Anyway, she, Jennifer was running around like a chicken with her head cut off, asking what I thought to be a couple other managers for help, and everyone just simply ignored her. I could see if everyone was busy but they were doing absolutely nothing. There wasn't even a car in the bay. Needless to say, I left. I had to. 1. I would've been there all day and 2. The whole situation made me so angry I thought it would better serve me to go home, collect my thoughts and notify you guys. Anyway, I never do things like this, so it has to tell you how painfully obvious to me that the other workers weren't interested in the efficiency of your location in Providence, or helping the Young woman that was trying to get everything done by herself.
