i was in there for an oil change, normally do this myself cause shit like this happens. but you guys on 33rd and O Street here in Lincoln got me an oil change and everything underneath leaked. oil filter was leaking, hex head on the drain plug was rounded off, MADE EYE CONTACT with the dude in the pit after he did it and the plug was also leaking. when i took off the plug there was no gasket on the plug. they sure were proud of everything enough that they initialed the damn filter. service was 2/19, and i rechanged the oil 2/20. good one. read more

Worst oil change experience of my lifetime. I miss Vollers & Son and my Dad so much right now. I pull my 2020 Hyundai Palisade into Jiffy Lube for an oil change. They do all the safety and fluid checks, DRAIN MY OIL AND PULL MY OIL FILTER then nothing. All 3 mechanics go to the next car and proceed to change oil, etc and bring in a second car. So I'm like -is there a problem? You're on the second oil change for vehicles that got here after me. ONLY THEN do they tell me, we don't have your oil filter and are waiting for one from across town. (From across Lincoln the day of the UNL Spring Game !!). Seriously- if you would have told me this I would have gone somewhere else. So I am stuck at Jiffy Lube in my SUV WITHOUT OIL or a filter, can't leave. It takes them OVER 90 minutes to get the filter. When I say this is seriously ridiculously unacceptable, the mechanic has the nerve to say to me 'time out here I don't need any attitude from you!' For real without disclosing to me you don't have the equipment to do my oil change, taking the oil and filter out of my vehicle- knowing full well you'd didn't have the equipment to do it and now I can't leave because you've essentially disabled my vehicle and I'm popping an attitude? No apologies and offered me a 'comeback coupon' like after this I WOULD EVER go back ?? Normally we service all of our vehicles at Agee's, but my schedule has been crazy. This store is a joke. It is run by rude untrained fools, my oil drain plug was stripped and the place the internet told me to go to had me sit and wait 45 minutes only to lie to me about replacing it, they actually sucked the oil out and told me that it was fixed. When I called to complain I was told I didn't know anything about cars so to just don't worry about it...I was married to an auto mechanic and regular change my own oil. 30+ year old location and still going strong. Waiting room is long in the tooth. Tape on all seats that were not occupied. Coffee and water available to those who wait in the lobby. Nothing impressive about the waiting room except for the posted prices for service. Which I found quite shocking. $114 to replace battery. $39 to replace cabin filter. $16 to replace wiper blades, which most parts stores do for free. I needed an oil change and went to speedy quick at first. Don't go there because they tried to tell me that an oil change for my small sedan (a Hyundai Elantra) starts at $90-$100. The guy there was trying to say that was the cheapest they could do, so I immediately left. I went to jiffy lube and they were able to give me plenty of options for pricing towards my full service oil change. They have all sorts of different oils that they offer and explain the differences very well. They give reliable suggestions towards what might be best for your car. I also had some questions about my brakes/brake pads and one of the guys took the time to show me how I can tell when they need to be changed or looked at. Them not being a service station they went above and beyond, found out what what is causing the oil leak and even did research to find out that the problem was under warranty through my dealer. I used to get my oil changed at Walmart and it would take like, hours on the weekend it was so busy. I also strongly suspect that when Walmart gets busy they don't really do the fluid checks and top-offs that they claim to. Jiffy lube at 33rd & O never seems to get that absurdly busy. They always have a customer or two, but whenever I've gone, I was always first in line or next. And they are fast. They try to up-sell a little but they aren't pushy about it or weird when you say no, and most importantly, they talk to you in an intelligent way and like they also think you are an intelligent person when they explain things or try to up-sell. Nothing gets my blood boiling faster than someone trying to sell me nonsense because they take me for a fool. But they are always so nice and respectful. I would recommend them to any friends. I will never go to Walmart again for tire/lube/battery services. read more

I work for a company that brings several vehicles to this location. Unfortunately, in the recent past, the new manager at this location has repeatedly tried to take advantage of us. They replaced air filters and other accessories without informing us and when called out on it, have insulted myself and my employees. The employees here are very friendly. They, like all smart businessmen in a customer service trade, up sell, but they aren't pushy if you say no. Gave only two stars because in the past they have been friendly, efficient and helpful. After our last oil change, took the car a few months later to top off the oil and they left the cap off. By the time we figured that out, the oil had spewed all over the whole engine, dripped all over the garage floor, and the oil tank was bone dry. It could have destroyed our engine! The floor manage tried to help, but store manager would not 'make us whole,' so we left. Never going back. They have lost two regular customers - me and my husband. So long, Jiffy Lube. read more

Upon presenting the $5 coupon downloaded from the Jiffy Lube site, they refused to honor this Jiffy Lube coupon. After leaving Jiffy Lube for a routine oil change, my tire came completely off while driving 70mph on the interstate. Very scary. While waiting for a tow, I reviewed my receipt from JL and found buried in the middle of the page that 3 out of 5 lug nuts were missing on one tire and they should be replaced ASAP. This was not highlighted or circled and at the check out, it was never brought up. It was not overly busy, maybe one other person in the waiting room. Unbelievable that they would notice this and then let me drive off with my 10-year old daughter in the car. I would not let my worst enemy drive off in that situation. i go here regularly for oil changes because it's close to my home and very convenient. they are usually speedy and friendly. they will try to upsell you to the best of their ability, but i rarely feel pressure, like at some places. they accept no. it helps if you know what you need going in. they are nothing too special, but fairly reliable and convenient. read more

I wish I could give negative stars the service was very slow and to ice the cake they damaged my battery and then said it was like that before I got there so when I call in to ask why once home and trying to run errands and my car would start not a nothing then they say well it's all your wiring is wrong well ... I will never go there ever again. No trust no respect no concern for customers safety ...
