First I must say that he tried to sell me a flush because my dirty oil was black, I politely declined and wanted to say my oil is black yes because it is dirty and that is why I am here getting it changed but I felt it was not necessary to bring that up to him. The attendant pulled out my air filter and said it was dirty and did I want him to change it. Now I figured I could buy an air filter from Lordco for around $20 but I figured how much can the mark-up be so why not I said no to all the other upsells...well guess what they charged me $60 for a air filter. So all said and done my oil change turned into just over $200. I am more pissed at myself for saying yes to anything they were selling including a full synthetic oil, when then saying come back after 3000km is synthetic not supposed to last longer...a lot longer. Regardless for their need for greed I will not support them ever again and I will have to learn to say no at future oil change businesses. Highly do not recommend or learn to say NO for all and any upsells.

They said the front brakes were fine and they didn't need to be serviced. City Center saved me from spending + $ for an unnecessary brake job; they charged a very nominal fee for removing , replacing and checking all 4 wheels. Honest, efficient, friendly service. Recommended to me by my numerous neighbors. I highly recommend too.

I went to them to have a new set of wheels installed and the month old wheels on the vehicle removed. After the service both sets of wheels showed damage in the form of scratches around the perimiter of the wheels. The brand new wheels were also covered in sealant, grease and grime. It appeared there was little care and effort applied to the work. The manager and customer service representative were apologetic and very accomodating. This business is lucky to have Andy and Mal. After sending pictures to the manager, he committed to repairing the brand new set and possibly buying the month old set off of me - he communicated the owner wanted to see them himself. After viewing the month old rims, the owner formed the conclusion that they were "used", that the damage was pre-existing and that it was not caused by his employees. Strangely he then wrote, "the damage is extremely faint and minor". I wonder if he would feel the same if the wheels belonged to him and he had paid to have them removed. He formed this conclusion without seeing the rims before the work was performed. The abolutely insane part of this scenario is that the scratches are identical on both sets of rims. When pics of the damage are viewed side by side it is undeniable they were caused by the same tool/process/force. I am struggling to understand how he is willing to take responsibility for the identical damage done to one set, yet not the other. His words suggests he believes a certain level of damage is acceptable. Further, he insisted that the process of powder coating the new set was going to result in a better finish and he was happy to pay for that. In fact this never happened and they were instead simply spot repaired. Through this process I had to provide an alternate set of rims to be used while the others were sent away, and I spent 3 weeks waiting for the turn around (which was promised to be 1-2 weeks). During that time there was zero communication. Further, the owner never reached out to me to discuss the issue or see what my expectations were to make things right. Instead he had his manager text me his decision, and said I could call him if I wished. A good business operates by initiating tough conversations and reaching common ground through effective communication. This owner did neither of those things. Reach Tire's owner hid behind a claim of being a, "small business that stands behind what they do" without actually doing so. There is something wrong when a customer pays a business money, has their property damaged and is then made to feel they have done something wrong. As I said, take pictures before you allow this company to work on your vehicle. Shocking.

I brought my 2019 Toyota C-HR in for engine oil service at 94,000 km. I was told a transmission…read moreservice was recommended by my car's manufacturer and that the shop used OEM-spec fluid (stated on their website). I later found out the fluid used did not meet Toyota's specifications, and Toyota confirmed this service was not required and my transmission was factory sealed. Additionally, they did not follow Toyota servicing protocol in the service manual, specifically in temperature monitoring which virtually inevitably results in the transmission being overfilled as the car runs and the fluid expands. 8 days after servicing, my transmission failed catastrophically on a busy highway going 120 kms/hr, and metal was found in the fluid. The manager states that they follow all manufacturer recommendations, but that is directly contradicted by information I have from Toyota itself. I've tried contacting the manager multiple times for resolution regarding these deceptive business practices and catastrophic damages, but have received no follow-up. I'm now pursuing the matter in small claims court. Disappointed by the lack of accountability.

They did their thing and then told me my air filter cabin was cracked, insisted I should buy an air filter through them. I told the guy there's no point changing the filter until I get the cabin itself fixed. Well the next day my car starts leaking oil everywhere and they call me 3 times insisting I come back for the filter I never wanted. I ended up taking it to Kal tire and paying for another oil change, they tell me the pan plug was left half screwed on and it was leaking everywhere because it wasn't tightened properly.
