We called roadside assistance but it was 530 PM EST, Saturday and we were still 300 miles from Jersey. I know, I am not the only one who gets tensed in the situation, not like I can't handle it, it was like- almost all the auto stores were getting closed, and what if we did not find any store? we would be stuck. We google and found this store, which was closing at 7 PM. Roadside folks did change flat with spare, and it took us 45 minutes to reach Walmart Auto Care center from the spot, and we reached there by 6:40 PM EST. We requested them to accommodate us. One supervisor came and told me they had to change all 4 tires (some thread thing in the tire and it was not in compliance with Walmart policy). I was shocked, I have a new 2023 Mazda model and only one tire got flat, and why I have to change all 4 tires? I decided I would stay at some motel nearby, get the tire changed in some local store, and reach Jersey the next day. But somehow their other employees came forward and they did agree to change the tire (they discussed something). I am trying to find their name on their website, could not found, also called the store as well to find the name of those good souls, but no one picked up the call. Anyway, it took them 30-35 minutes to change the tire, they did some verification, and TPMS check, and we were good to leave by 730 PM EST. I wanna thank their staff (one big guy, it's him in the photo with the ith car), one thin lady (Erin), and another white short guy (must be in his 20s)- thanks for saving us. We did reach Jersey by 1:15 AM.

I said ok, vs going to walmart and returning. They are double the price and not any better value for the price. After doing that, they came back and told me it failed anyway due to lights. This is so unethical. They would not take the wipers off and refund me. I was tricked into spending money, because they led me to believe that is all that was needed. He got on the cold snow covered ground and went to work locating the hole. He quickly determined he could patch the tire for us and did so. He could have stayed inside we would have never known he was there. We knew the facility was closed, we just pulled in to get off the road. He actually called two places and gave me the number of a third for the type of tire that was sold in Ohio. As a single mom, I didn't have a ride home. I immediately reached out to the West Herr Nissan dealership at 4:30. After waiting an hour for a return call, I placed a second call. The service manager instructed me not to drive, and to have the vehicle towed to their dealership. The service manager then stated that they would not be able to look at my vehicle until Friday or Monday. My choices, a 15-hour bus ride home, a one-way car rental, or an extended stay at a hotel with no transportation until they figured it out. John at Lamarco's Auto Service, an extremely kind gentleman, put me in contact with Chuck at Transmission Exchange. Upon my arrival, my car was immediately put on a lift and the issue identified as a rotted transmission hose. During my wait, Chuck did everything in his power to make me feel welcome and comfortable. I was even invited to join the crew for lunch! Transmission Exchange diagnosed the issue, completed the repair and I was on the road within a couple of hours. After my negative experience with West Herr, I had given up on receiving any kind compassion regarding my circumstances. A big thanks to Chuck, Mom & the crew for restoring my faith in the humanity. When i first went there Chuck was very nice and friendly. called me back within a couple hours to let me know that my transmission needed to be rebuilt. He said it would take a few days. My vehicle ended up being there for 9 days before i got it back from the transmission rebuilt!!! when i got it back, immediately i knew something was wrong so took it back and spoke with Joe. Joe claims he drive it around and also had the owner Chuck drive it and both said it drives perfectly. Another week goes by and i take it back because its definately not driving perfectly as they said it was. Now this time Joe said oh yea i feel what youre talking about i think its the motor mounts but we dont fix that here we only do transmission work so youll have to take it to a general shop. Immediately i took it to another shop and within 10 minutes they found that one of the engine mounts was left loose and the bracket was damaged! This was NOT an issued before i took my car to Transmission Exchange and the fact that they refuse to help me now that they got their money is unbelievable!!! I will never go there again nor recommend anyone to trust these people with their vehicle. DONT DO IT!!! Once they get your money they will blow you off And not take accountability for any errors they made have made. Sincerely, Truly Disappointed Customer
