They were fast and I was there for less than an hour on a weekday morning. They did charge me an extra $5 for a skid plate removal which I thought was a silly up charge. They were polite. Listed complementary services done on my receipt that were definitely not done like vacuum floors, wash exterior windows, and inflate tires to pressure. While I didn't need/expect those to be done before coming for the oil change, it's annoying they claimed it's something they did. Okay experience if needing just an oil change but a little pricier than expected. read more

Special lug not tool was not in glove department so they could not rotate the tires on my car. They decided to pull everything out of glove department and not put it back in. Offering your hand while introducing yourself would be classier if you washed your hands first. Left with oil on my hand and wearing white. Feeling ripped off since I spent over $120. Went in for oil changes on our two cars. They got so much old dirty oil on his engine it leaked onto our garage floor when we got home, and they "lost" my custom tire caps and allowed me to drive away with no caps on my tires. Also forgot to reset my oil light. Never going back to this or any Jiffy Lube ever. read more

This was possibly the worst experience with a mechanic I have ever experienced. The mechanic actually said to me "when you bring your husband back his truck let him know the right front running light is out." After I had refused to let them replace it. Are you kidding me! The truck is mine...women can drive trucks. They put 5 pounds less air in my tires than is required. They said I had efficient amout of power steering fluid in and when I checked everything after I left it was low and the oil was low! You had one job jiffy lube. I spent $80.00 and didn't get the service I paid for, I was personally insulted and was stereotyped because of my gender. I'm appalled and you should be ashamed of yourself. read more

Will never be back to this location, or Jiffy Lube in general. I went in for a simple oil change, my car takes Dexos oil (more expensive oil), and I noticed a coupon online for $15 off. I had scheduled an appointment took my car in, asked the guy at the front before any work was done on my car if the coupon could be applied. He assured me I would be able to use it. My oil change was completed and a new guy rang me up and said I couldn't use the coupon. I had told him the other guy said I would be able to use it and his response was, "oh he's new, he doesn't know what he is talking about." Well, I wouldn't brought my car in if I couldn't use my coupon. I felt my coupon should be offered that time at the minimum since I was told it would be applied at the beginning. Incredibly rude staff and incompetent service. AVOID this place at all costs, especially since there are two other Jiffy Lubes in Fargo. After pulling into the center bay I was asked to pull into, they had me come back around and into another bay, so another car, that was there after me, could have its tires rotated in the center bay. They proceeded to service this other car, completing its service and pulling it out of the bay before even beginning service under my hood (though the hood was up so I couldn't just drive away). A female staff member (I didn't get her name) seemed upset that I wanted to stay in my car while they serviced it. The ENTIRE REASON I came to a jiffy lube instead of somewhere else was so I could just stay in the car while I waited. I was traveling with an elderly dog and didn't want to have to get her in and out of the car and find a cool place to stay with her. I've gone to quite a few Jiffy lubes and I've never once had a staff member act put out that I stayed in my car. In fact the whole Jiffy Lube process is designed so you CAN stay in your car. One of the other staff members, William (he wears some sort of therapeutic belt around his midsection and right arm, so it is hard to see his name tag), came up to me at one point and barked "520" at me. I had no idea what he was talking about and asked a couple of times what he meant. He finally deigned to speak in full English sentences, and asked me if the car should take 520 oil, as the oil cap said it should. Um, I guess so, if that's what it says it should take! First of all it's not my car (as I'd already said before, this was my mother's car I was getting serviced for her), second not everyone is a mechanic and knows exactly what you are talking about when you bark "520!" at them. And third and most importantly, to roll your eyes and flip your arms up at the other staff while walking away is about the rudest way I can imagine to treat a customer . If you're trying to make sure you don't have any repeat customers, this is an excellent technique. Several hours after having the service completed, the dashboard on my mom's car flashed a wrench icon and showed that the oil life was at 15% and should be serviced soon. After consulting first my mom and then the car manual, I discovered that the Jiffy Lube people should have reset the oil indicator back to 100%. I found out how to reset it myself, and did so, however after being driven for several hours it wouldn't have been 100% anymore, but no way to set it at the right percentage. I called the Jiffy Lube and asked to speak to the manager. Unfortunately the person put on the line was William, the same shmuck who was so rude to me before. I told him about the oil indicator not being reset and he said "what do you want me to do about it?" and then "it sounds like you figured it out". Um, yes, I spent MY time fixing YOUR mistakes, which I shouldn't have to do. At the very least you should assure me that the staff members will be properly trained in the future to reset the oil indicator on a Honda Odyssey. And preferably you should be giving me a rebate or a coupon for my trouble. read more

Walked in to get an oil change and stood at the counter for 10 minutes waiting to get checked in. Made plenty of eye contact with the service techs and yet no one seemed interested in my business so I walked out. A little customer service could go a long way in driving your revenue. If I could give this Jiffy Lube a 0 star rating I would. I usually don't take the time to write reviews about anything but this instance really got be aggravated. I was in need of an oil change and thought this place would work well since it was close to my house. Just as Cynthia was shuffled around the service bays in her car I was as well. Waiting outside I pulled up to a bay window to wait my turn as all three bays were full. I was then directed by a mechanic who could barely complete his sentences to move my car left one position to wait in that spot (I assumed because he thought the car in that bay would take less time to finish their oil change). As I was waiting for the car ahead of me to finish the cars on BOTH sides of the one I was waiting for completed their service and pulled away and two other cars that were there 10 minutes after me pulled into the bays. They let two other customers in ahead of me even after I had been waiting in one of those exact spots first. The windows into the services bays are clear and I could see that two of the technicians seemed to be just standing around for over 5 minutes, not servicing any of the cars. The technicians that were working began to service the cars that had just arrived and not the one that was in front of me preventing me from actually getting a timely oil change. One of the reasons I also needed to get my car serviced was to have the radiator coolant fluid filled because it was very low and my car would idle cold. Being as I live in North Dakota and on this particular day my dash temperature gauge read -12 degrees I was freezing in my car just waiting outside while it idled. After over 30 minutes of waiting to be helped I just decided that this place did not deserve my business and that I would just drive the extra 10 minutes to go elsewhere. I went to the Valvoline on 13th Avenue by Walmart and pulled right in and was done there in less than 20 minutes. Plus they gave me a $5 coupon to use on my service and a free car wash. I had also had my car serviced at this location one other time about a year ago and when I paid in cash the attendant couldn't count it right to save his life and kept complaining that I didn't give him enough to cover it. When I had to lay it out and count it for him I really started to question his education level. Definitely never going back to this Jiffy Lube location and it puts a sour taste in my mouth concerning the whole chain of Jiffy Lube's. read more

Stripped my oil pan plug and did not notify me of a temporary replacement put on. All and all, I had to replace my oil pan ($125 W/o labor) and could have ran into some serious problems down the road if I would have not noticed the large amount of oil leaking from my car. read more

I had my oil changed there. The person who was under the hood forgot to put my oil cap back on. I drove home and parked in the garage and then left to run errands and came back and pulled in the garage. I didn't notice the oil until later after it was everywhere. I went back to Jiffy lube and they put 2 quarts in and sprayed the fender well with some degreaser. I only had to wash the truck 3 more times to get all the oil off. They told me to come back when it's time to change oil and they would take care of me and give me a discount. I came back and they offered me $12 off of my oil change but they didn't tell me how much the discount would be until after the oil change was done. I was not able to use my $12 coupon I got in the mail along with it. I paid the bill and went home and parked. The following day when I came home I noticed a big puddle of oil in the garage so I went back again and they replaced my oil filter and a quart of oil and told me to come back again and they would take care of me the next time I need an oil change.
