Specifically, two staff members clarissa, joe appeared to be vaping while work was being performed, which raised concerns about safety and professionalism. In addition, I found the customer service to be lacking. When I asked for assistance, the response felt dismissive and unhelpful. The service manager mike in particular came across as uninterested in addressing customer concerns and seemed irritated when approached for help. I needed an oil change on my car. I was hoping to book an appointment online but they don't do those anymore since you can walk in . If there were cars ahead of you and you had an appointment you would have to wait. Pissed people off so no reservations. First come only. You can get an estimate and input your data online to speed up the process when checking in. Plus they have coupons all the time to get an additional 25 bucks off. I did that and it was going to be 106 with a 25 discount that would be around 81 bucks. Toyota has coupons for 79.99 . This place is usually faster. So what the heck I went with it. I arrived before opening and the guy told me to park in front of the 1st stall and wait till they opened. He came out and I told him that I input my data online. He immediately told me that the price is wrong and it will be more. The online price is wrong and doesn't give the correct price for my vehicle. He apologizes for that. The price is now 179.99. Like double the price. I told him that Toyota can do it for 79.99. He acknowledge that they could but offered no solution for me. Come on. I can't pay that much more. Crazy. No price matching. So poor customer service. Plus what's up with their online pricing. This is California , if a price is marked you have to go with it. I know it was just an estimate. Still no comfort for the customer. This was for synthetic oil , can I use regular oil on my Camry? No options given. Geez Times have changed for sure. Of course I left with no oil change. Jiffy Lube, especially this location is a reliable, friendly, and quick. Their team of technicians and staff are all friendly and always welcoming. We needed an oil change during this visit. The techs checked the fluids, windshield wipers, engine and cabin air filters, and checked each of the tire pressures. I was first reminded for this service through social media, which offered a $30 off premium oil change. Unfortunately I did not capture the advertisement for the code. Instead they were able to discount the service and used their common $10 off code for all services. I was slightly disappointed but lesson learned. read more

There is one thing I can tell you about this Jiffy Lube. It is hit or miss here. I'm not sure if it is turnover of personnel, management, or both. I have had pretty good service, and then again mediocre service. Don't get me wrong - I come here because it is close to me, convenient, and they have never goofed up my oil change. I can always find a digital coupon to save me some money, and that's definitely a plus. It's the little things, the intangibles, that make the difference between 3 or 4 stars. If you can arrive when they first opened (or maybe 5 minutes before) you should be in and out in about 30 minutes. That's the best advice I can give you. Give them a chance to earn your business. I'm gonna be honest this was the most awkward interaction I've ever had at a store. My representative was new. All good no worries. He made a few mistakes and the Supervisor was a huge jerk to him. And you can tell the representative was clearly hurt and upset. I felt SOOOO bad for the poor guy. The rep asked him a few questions and he rudely yelled to him " WORRY ABOUT THAT LATER JUST GET THE JOB DONE"... okay.... Then I wanted a split payment because one card was my partners and the new guy charged it in full. I seriously wasn't trippin. But I did want the problem fixed. So the supervisor comes out. I say hey he says NOTHING to me. LITERALLY NOTHING AT ALL. Okay??????? I guess he doesn't want to talk? Then he looks at his employee to tell me to sit down instead of directly just telling me???????? THEN when he finally speaks this dude says I really don't have time to deal with this it should have been done the FIRST time. Now I feel extremely awkward. Like uh...I wasn't trying to get dude written up I just wanted the problem fixed. Then instead of apologizing to me or saying hey we're so sorry he rudely takes the receipt and says " hand this to the customer".. like????????is this how he always treats his clients????? Every time I come here they never put the underbody shield on correctly and I'm always forced to come back. Its happened at least 3 times. This place is terribly slow. The mechanics seem to know what their doing, but the two people inside have no clue. I've been waiting 15 minutes just to get checked in, and have been told twice that they'll be right with me. There's no one here! First of all, we've been going here for years and have usually had good service except once when there was a change in management. This time, we had an oil change, and we specifically asked if the tires were checked. We were told yes. Today however the tires obviously hadn't been checked and all four tires needed 10 psi air. Also the car started to overheat and we discovered that the cap wasn't on properly and fluid was sprayed all over our engine. Luckily we were able to remedy both problems. We were out of town though and it was stressful. I'd like to give a higher rating and try again. I'm concerned though that we were told something that was done when it wasn't read more

Went in for a routine oil change and they cracked my car key fob. I told them about it and they gave me so much attitude and told me to just go buy a new replacement, get the key cut, and that it's no big deal and "happens all the time". So do they just break everyone's key fobs during each car service? I went in for a quick service just for them to cost me more money, time, and effort just to fix what they broke. I took my car into service on Saturday morning. Three different service advisors checked with me within a 10 minute period of pulling into the shop. Each service advisor gave me different information on service wait time. I could not get a real answer on the current wait time for service. During the check out process, the cashier let me know the service shop refused to put my skid plate back on due to "missing hardware". I ask the service advisor to show me all of the screws that they took off. They were unable to show me or determine how much hardware was removed from my car prior to service. The store manager Mike was unwilling to put my skid plate as requested. I had to call JIffy Lube corporate to start a customer support case. read more

Came to Jiffy Lube off Harbour Pointe today, to get oil changed in my mom's car - after horrible wait time at Honda of Elk Grove (with an appointment)! She lives in the country. We knew there was a rodent problem in the car. But Jiffy Lube crew did an amazing job replacing the cabin air filter and filter. Then vaccummed it out and really helped her out!! Much appreciated! I took my car in to get the oil changed and when I picked it up the steering wheel adjustment has been changed and the car had oil stains. They did not apologize, didn't offer to clean the stains, and actually claimed that they were not responsible for the stains. The manager was of no help at all. If you had chimps beat your car with mallets they might do less damage. I took two cars there for oil changes several months ago. On the first car they stripped the nuts holding on the wheels so it became unsafe to drive. It took me weeks to find replacements. On the second car they lost or stole the wheel locks. I didn't realize this until it became necessary to change the tires. Now I have to have to pay mechanics to remove the old locks and buy replacement locks before I can have the tires changed. They created hundreds of dollars in damages and days of wasted time for me in the course of two oil changes with tire rotation. Some reviews are bad because people don't understand sometimes there is a wait. Yes because they are humans and not machines. I've been going to this location for years as it is near my house. Yes, they get busy and that is understandable. However, for the last year or so when I pull up, it takes a long time for someone to check me in, even when the store isn't busy. Today I pulled in for an oil change and there were only two cars in the three bays and plenty of workers. I was the only one waiting and I waited. And waited. And waited. After 15 minutes of getting blank stares from the EIGHT workers inside, I finally left. I called to talk to the manager, but was told he was "busy" even though I could see him from the street chatting with two other workers. Something has gone terribly wrong with this location. But I called Sheldons location to see if they air up tires for noncustomers, and manager Loc said yes. Return customer to this location. Usually top notch service. Today not so much, made to wait sitting in car for 15 minutes, (not that busy) along with another - not so Jiffy. I get if you are understaffed, but the normal course is to greet the cars coming in, ask what service they're in for and give them an eta. They can make the decision to wait or not. The manager today Jonas did not do that. After I asked him what the hold up was he asked me to wait one more minute. Ugh. The guys used to be smart, precise and professional. My first time coming to this location! Came around 8:45am and it was an estimated 45 minute wait. Employees were super nice, the lady who helped me out was awesome! She wasn't so pushy about up selling and just let me get what I wanted to get done. An oil change and rotated tires, that's it! This location is pretty small and the waiting room is pretty compact. If you don't want to wait inside, luckily there's a Starbucks right next to it where you can chill and have more space. In just about 40 minutes, my car was all done! They just told me they have to order my oil filter from Orielys. They should have told me this before they started. Now I'm going to be super later for work. This is for the jiffy lube on Elk Grove Blvd by the auto mall. When I arrived there were few cars ahead of me it took 2 hours just to get into the bay then an hour later my filter was too tightly put on too tight could not get it off had to call someone to remove it then needed to get a housing got it defective got another finally. The short staff we're arguing and disrespectful to each other briefly. Horrible experience. This place sucks!!! Workers are super slow. Came in for a regular oil change told me there was 3 cars in front of me and it will take 45-1hr for oil change... I said sure I can wait. Next thing you know I'm 2 1/2 hours in and they are barely working on my oil change.... also when I told the guy I found a coupon from their own website and asked if I can use it, he looked like he was annoyed by it. Like really man? Anyways terrible place, always make sure you check if there's a coupon for your oil or brakes and remind them you want to use it bcuz they WON'T TELL YOU if there is coupon or not. read more

I have been taking my car here for routine oil changes over the past 8 years. Pete, the manager, is one of the most reliable and friendly mechanics I have ever met. My car has stripped drain plug threads that require extra care when removing and tightening. Pete offered me the option to call and make sure he is working so that he can personally do it each time. I thought I was only going to get 1-2 more oil changes before having the replace the whole drain pan but with Pete's care, I have gone at least 6 oil changes since finding out about the issue. All the employees at this location are solid and well trained in both industry knowledge and customer service. I may end up selling the car but I will continue to return and recommend this Jiffy Lube to others. read more

This location has been my go to since it's close to my house but I'll make this short. I came in for an oil change with my kids who happens to not have a mask on but they still let me in to have my services done. Went outside to get coffee and came back when another employee of this location told me I have to wear my mask. I said no problem, but then he added that my kids have to wear them too. I'm a little confused as to why it's not ok for me to take my kids inside when clearly they have been inside before let alone one of them is a two year old. I was like I'm cool, I'll wait outside to avoid confrontations but it might be my last time visiting this location. I brought my mothers diesel truck here for an oil change, and the staff was very helpful. They offered me the package with synthetic oil for $120 (a turbo diesel package is expensive), and the service only took 20 minutes as described. When we return to pay the only charged $80. They had accidentally filled up the truck with regular oil instead of synthetic. After quickly catching that mistake, they apologized and filled the truck with a new filter and the synthetic oil. We even receive the discount because of a yelp coupon offer. Overall thisService was great and I will return for an oil change when we visit our parents next.
