I came here in an emergency situation after I noticed my car was hesitating to start and everywhere else I went beforehand either had ridiculously long waits or they couldn't change my old dying battery due to lack of tools or inventory. The O'Reilly auto parts store down the street told me to come here after I first went to the Toyota dealership who wanted me to wait 4 hours just to diagnose my old battery and Les Schwab told me they ended up not having the battery I needed after waiting before they even looked at my car. I called here while driving from O'Reilly and was immediately placed on hold for almost 10 minutes before they finally talked to me. I was already in their parking lot by the time they answered and they told me there was no wait to get my battery diagnosed and/or replaced so I parked and went inside. Man that was a mistake in hindsight. What was said to be no wait ended up taking roughly 2 hours total. It felt like others who came in after me for oil changes and other services were getting served faster than me while I had what I thought was just a simple battery diagnosis and replacement. They also kept telling other people over the phone they had no wait and they should be in and out within 30-45 minutes. They gave me a 30 minute quote after replacing the battery as well to make sure everything was good which felt even longer than that. I also noticed when I got home there was a brown looking spot on the battery label. From what I researched it could be an anti corrosive material and is normal or it could be a potential leak if it spreads so I'm really hoping that it doesn't already have a slow leak. Overall, from this experience alone, I honestly can't say that I'll be back anytime soon unless my new battery suddenly starts having issues while under warranty. The price was also not great at $270 for a battery that may not last as long as my original battery from when I bought my car roughly 6.5 years ago. While I'm glad they were able to see me on short notice and replaced my battery, I felt like it took an unnecessarily long time for what seemed like a quick fix. I'm mostly just upset that I was quoted no wait as I was on the phone in their parking lot then spent nearly 2 hours which ended up in me having to cancel certain plans. read more

I recently came here for a full synthetic oil change and also had my cabin air filter replaced. About two weeks after the service, I noticed a puddle of oil on my driveway. Prior to bringing my car here, I had never experienced any oil leaks. I checked my oil level and found it was completely empty. I returned to Speedee to address the issue, and they told me they didn't see any problems and simply topped off my oil. Shortly after, I noticed another oil puddle in my driveway again. And again -- no more oil. Overall, my experience here has not been great. Based on these repeated issues, I've since started taking my car to the dealership instead. While it costs more, the peace of mind and reliability are worth it compared to the headaches I experienced here. The lady at the front was very accommodating and Jesus was wonderful. I was having a not so great day, was feeling sick but had to get my smog done asap. I called prior to coming in and was accommodated last minute. It took about 15/20 minutes so I explored the plaza to get some fresh air. They texted me and gave me paperwork, explained the process and was just overall kind. It wasn't too busy but on Sundays there's only one tech so make sure to call beforehand! It was superb about 3yrs ago now its run by young kids at least on the weekends so quality went down. Their poor communication put me and my family in a dangerous situation Was told one hour to get my car on the bay for a break inspection I really needed that day because my breaks are failing and I have kids to drive around. I was told an hour which was reasonable within my time frame so I agreed. 2.5 hours later my car was sitting in the parking spot not even touched. The owner finally walks over to tell me he can't get to it and his bay is full. (5 customers that came in after me were helped and sent off) I believe they didn't want to do it and sweated me out. This is a dangerous situation with breaks and me driving the kids. If they were honest about the backed up bays I could have taken it elsewhere to get this emergent issue resolved. Came in for an oil change- while there, I asked if I could take advantage of the free brake inspection that's plastered on the front of the building. The front desk attendant declined. She said they were too busy. At the time of my request, there wasn't a plethora of customers and there appeared to be several employees. It was obvious that the company's interest was the next dollar even though I was a current paying customer. I've had my oil changed at this location several times- so I was a bit disappointed to have had this experience. They also wasn't accepting electronic payments on this day- so this further complicated the overall experience. They should probably plaster a second sign that says "make an appointment" Or "if we have time " Otherwise, customers will automatically assume that a break inspection is possible at the time of their service. read more

I took my daughter's car in recently for an oil change. It hadn't been driven in a couple of years, and we were getting ready to sell it. I'd washed the outside, but the inside was a mess. I pulled up and Sebastian welcomed me. I explained that I was looking for an affordable oil change. Even though I didn't bring in their online coupon, he kindly offered me that discount. They get the car in and out quickly. I paid, and when I opened the door I actually thought I was in the wrong car. They had vacuumed it out so thoroughly I couldn't believe it was the same car I brought in. I didn't even know that was part of the service. Two days later I brought in back to be smogged, and again Sebastian provided excellent service. Even though it was still pretty clean from before, I think they did an even deeper clean. If I could give 0 stars I would, went into the shop this morning and was not even greeted!! Then a rude lady asked me and my mother about my car and I told my make and model to which she immediately replied 500 to 1000 dollars for both front and back which is completely outrageous as I know exactly how much my brake pads cost. Today, July 25, 2024, i took my car to my dealership (Buick Elk Grove) for my regular oil change and they told me that it needed new brake fluid. I brought my 2009 Nissan altima in because it was making a "ticking" noise coming from somewhere near the belts and pullies. I wasn't sure if I had a bad pully or maybe timing chain, and was worried I might be in for a big expense. The guys from Speedee noticed that my serpentine belt was somehow out of alignment and replaced it with a new one. The clicking noise is gone and car is repaired. When he came to pick up car they told him it would be $1000 because they had to changed other parts. When we went back to retrieve old parts it was clear that they did NOT need to be changed. They saw a young man with a credit card and took advantage. This is not how a reputable business operates. Went to another shop and they said all of my Freon had been drained from my car! The manager was so rude when I came to him about my concerns. He said the only way to tell what was wrong with AC is for them to complete a $140 diagnostic on my car.. which wouldn't even include the service needed to rectify the issue. I took two different vehicles to this location on the same day. The first vehicle I took in was our Chevy avalanche that needed an oil change. They were swift and quickly got the job done. They let me know the condition of the other fluids, and also the condition of my tires. So I went home and got another vehicle, my son's Chevy avalanche 2013 to get a smog check. I noticed that they were taking a little longer on my car, then the guy comes over and let me know, the vehicle has three catalytic converters, but we were missing the third one in the back. He explained to me that although it does not have a sensor that would trigger the check engine light, he let me know that it does monitor emissions, therefore did not pass the smog check. He recommended a place to me, I checked out the reviews, and they seem to be favorable. I do recommend this place for oil changes, Checks and air condition services. read more
