    Assistant Manager Anthony Laughing And Smiling As He Admits To Another Employee, Via Phone, That He Promised Me $15 Off Oil Change Service.

    I came in for an oil change at this location because it was on my way home from work and was the most convenient, considering Jiffy lube closes at 6pm during the weekdays. I was told by Assistant Manger Anthony that this location did not carry "Pennzoil Gold - Synthetic Blend" ($73.99) which is what I usually get at the Jiffy Lube location on W. Archer Ave. Anthony stated that the only two options that this location carried were "Pennzoil Ultra" ($129.99) and "Pennzoil Platinum" ($92.99) Before heading out the door due to the $20+ difference, Anthony said he would accommodate me by offering -$15 off of my oil change service if I chose to do "Pennzoil Platinum" ($92.99) which I greatly appreciated and agreed to do. I asked Anthony approximately how long the service would take and he responded by telling me it would take 45 minutes. I brought my car in at 5pm so that gave me enough time to grab a quick bite nearby the area. Anthony said it was no problem and that he would call me in 20 minutes when my review was ready. I walked over to Kombs, which is less than 500ft away from Jiffy Lube. As I finished my food, I got a call from Anthony saying that my car was ready. I was back at Jiffy Lube in less than 5 minutes. Anthony then said he'd given me -$10 off of my service, when I reminded him that he promised me -$15. Anthony then proceeded to tell me that his mechanics added an additional service to my vehicle (without my consent) which was adding fluid to my coolant. I thought this was strange and asked him why it didn't state that on my receipt. He then claimed that instead of charging me for the fluid, he didn't put it on the receipt so that would be equivalent to -$15 off, which I did not think was fair. I never agreed to that additional service and was very upset that my receipt did not state -$15 which was originally promised. Anthony proceeded to argue with me and called me "Broke" and that "If i cannot afford an oil change, that I shouldn't be getting one." I did not appreciate Anthony's deceptive and fraudulent behavior and demanded to speak to the general manager which he stated is Ignacio. I asked for Ignacio's business card and he denied giving me one. Another employee who witnessed the altercation was very kind enough to at least give me Joe's phone number (another manager) who I could reach out to regarding my concerns and what had just occurred. Anthony then calls another employee (not sure who) where he admits that he promised me -$15, which I have video proof of and have already sent to Joe. In this video you can see Anthony smiling and laughing. Before I walk out the door, I let Anthony know that his general manager will be hearing about this. Anthony reads my uniform which says "Napleton" (I am also in the automotive business and work at one of their dealerships) and says "make sure you remember that when you tell your boss why you lost your job" (which I also have video of and have sent to Joe) Anthony continues to harass me by pointing out the minor dents on my vehicle and again, calls me broke. This is the WORST customer service I have ever experienced and is truly unacceptable of an assistant manager. No one should ever be mislead or treated like this. I hope consequences take place and that there is something done about this situation.

    Painfully slow service and overpriced if you need more than 5 quarts of oil. Go to a local garage that doesn't gouge their customers.

    Awful service, took my car for a belt serpentine replacement because it started to shred and came…read moreout that my water pump was faulty, they gave me an estimate for labor and parts of almost $900 which I thought it was too much, I asked them to leave it as it is and I was going to take my car elsewhere, I went to pick my car and paid $9.99 for the inspection, popped the hood and discovered that they removed my old belt and didn't put it back as it was when I arrived, I asked service advisor "Genaro" why they removed it and didn't put it back, he said because it was too dangerous for me to drive which I understand, I told him that that would be my problem and please to put my belt back as it was which he refused, then asked me if I was going to pay the mechanics a "tip" for it which I found weird since I didn't ask for any service after they gave me my estimate, long story short "Genaro" was very rude and walked to my car and tossed my belt on top of my hood and left and said "this is what I get for trying to help people" I don't recommend this location, please be aware of scammers and rude people, now I have to pay for a tow truck to tow my vehicle.
