Such amazing service. I've been going here since my second year of college, and even though I'm probably easily duped, knowing so little about cars, they've always been honest and up front, polite, quick and helpful. I hadn't been in several years but stopped in during a trip through Charlottesville, and even though I've had nice experiences with other Jiffy Lubes around the country, this one is top notch. I just wish I still lived here so I could go here for all my minor auto issues. I had a problem with the antifreeze consistently leaking out of the tank in college, and used to come here every week to have them put more in. After a couple times, they told me to stop wasting my money and showed me exactly how to do it myself and what antifreeze to get so I could save money. Now that's what I call good service! I went to get my fluids topped off today and tires checked which is free if you have been within 3000 miles or 3 months. I'm not sure if I was either, but they pulled me right in, were so nice and pleasant, and then when I tried to tip the guy at the end, he wouldn't even accept it. Stellar service! read more

They are fairly quick with their service at Joffy Lube and I love that they have great records and you can come in without an appointment. What I don't love though is that their prices are crazy expensive and they always try to sell you stuff you don't need so just bring your coupons and be wary! They will do a fine enough job with your oil change! read more

I had service for synthetic at this location and had to have maintenance done within a few weeks of getting oil and found out that they did not replace the gasket and oil leaked underneath my car went back to the service station they refused refund and told me that I got what I paid for. I do not recommend terrible service the quality was absolutely damaging to a car. read more

Had to stop in for a quick oil change on my road trip and stopped at this spot in Charlottesville. It is located on a busy strip and next to a 7 eleven. We're greeted quickly and told it would be about 30 minutes. We walked into the main sitting area that had a cute kids set up with coloring and Lego's, and coffee and waters. If there is a 0.1 star, I would definitely give this score to this unattentive and unprofessional jiffylube. I stopped by for a quick oil-change and agreed to change the air filter and cabin filter which they brought me with the old ones that I had (not sure if this is the ones that I had). They showed me the total price just little under $65 and they charged me with $136 at the end. There was no mention of extra $40 something dollars for cabin filter which I wasn't informed from the first place. They should have let the total cost right in the beginning. Not after the service is done. Not to mention they ridiculously messed up my globe box with missing latch and unplugged tube from the hood (I noticed this and plugged myself). I even went back to the shop to fix my broken globe box which they kindly fixed but still wasn't worth of money spending over $100 to get my car serviced. I asked the manager for a partial refund for untold cabin filter which was obviously denied. What a "professionalism" and great way to deceive and ripping off customers.. didn't like the service at all and NEVER recommend to go to this shop ever again!!! Scraped my splash shield and needed it replaced, took it to another local shop and when they pulled it off it turns out our oil was leaking badly. The mechanic described it as "pouring everywhere." We got a change at jiffy lube about a month ago. Our car takes 4 qts of oil, there was only 2 qts left. ALL because jiffy lube didn't screw in the oil cap/plug properly. Poor customer service and rude representatives. I visited to have a headlight replaced. The representative working on my car told me that they did not have the correct bulb and would order a new part. He explained the whole procedure to me, told me to come back in a few days and that the actual fix would only take 15 minutes. He was quite nice and polite, apologizing for the inconvenience. When I came back this morning (a few days later) - the representative (different person) was rude to me from the start - as I was pulling my car in. After five minutes of waiting, he proceeded to share (what seemed like) a bunch of lies. First: 'We can't take the bumper off' - the previous guy said that was not a problem and had taken off the bumper during the prior visit. 'We don't have this part' - the previous guy had ordered it for me. 'Well it's not in yet' - all happening without the guy checking the system 'Oh yeah - I talked to the other guy yesterday - it had it all wrong' No apology, no explanation, super rude a dismissive. Seems like the 2nd representative just didn't want to work on this. So 2 visits - nothing fixed - and not coming back. read more

They stopped cleaning cars and servicing is just bullshit. Two years ago, they told me that my battery voltage is too low and yet I had no ignition delays and been running on that same battery for the past two years. They offered to replace my air cabin filter for $80 and it only cost me $15 to buy one from Walmart and two minutes replace it myself with no tools. And recently, they serviced my radiator and right after I drove out of their shop, the car was overheating and had a crack on the radiator which I had to replace Avoid this Jiffy Lube whenever you can! read more

This my second time coming to this Jiffy Lube and I have always had a pleasant experience here. I showed up at 8 AM yesterday and my car was taken immediately. I had my oil change and my air filters replaced. I asked for a tire rotation, but I appreciated that the employee informed me that Toyota didn't require a tire rotation for another 5000 miles. They also cleaned my car by vacuuming it and cleaning the windows filled my tires free of charge and were so kind. As a woman I'm always a little nervous walking into places like this. I'm always afraid I'm going to get scammed, but I have had two really pleasant experiences here. read more

2 cars in left bay and none in right. Door open. No greeter. Pulled to the right. Waited 10 minutes. No greeter came to talk to any waiting car. No cars moved. Three employees scurried around talking to one another at the exit end of the bays. Finally backed out and left without getting oil change. READ THIS UPDATE: Attached below is a reply from Charles W. this reply is completely contradictory to what the district manager Anthony Allen said to me on the phone this morning. Anthony refused to talk to the third party mechanic. In fact, he hung up on my third party mechanic who took the time out of his busy day to make the call. To make matters worse, Anthony Allen was highly disrespectful to me on the phone in a manner that was absolutely shocking for high level management. I don't leave many reviews, as you can see on my page, but Jiffy Lube may be the slimiest company I have ever dealt with. Original Review: When you bring something that you rely on as much as your car to a garage you need to know that you can trust the hands that touch it. This Jiffy-Lube location and it's staff members not only caused a leak on a routine oil change, they also lied about it, and refused to pay for the damage. I can guarantee that this problem was caused by the incompetence of the workers because my car ran fine before I brought it in, but after leaving Jiffy-Lube and driving less than a mile away from this location my car started spitting out black smoke and could barely move. Now I knew that something has gone terribly wrong so I contacted Jiffy-Lube right away. A manager came out to my car and told me again and again that they barely touched anything, so it couldn't be their fault, but he suggested that I get my car towed to a shop to check with a real mechanic. He promised that if the shop found a problem that stemmed from anything that Jiffy-Lube did that they would definitely pay for it. Well it turns out that the staff members at this location are not only incompetent enough to cause a leak, but also their word means nothing. I had my car towed at my own expense to a nearby garage. After running diagnostics and test driving my car the mechanic said that the oil was leaking onto the engine from the filter. He said that Jiffy-Lube had used the wrong oil filter and that he recommended changing the oil and filter again to make sure that it was done correctly. Because this all happened late on a Friday afternoon, I was without my car all weekend. When I sent the bill to Jiffy-Lube for reimbursement the manager refused to pay. He claimed that he "had no way of knowing that the problem was caused by Jiffy-Lube", even though the mechanic at the garage said that Jiffy-Lube had used the "wrong oil filter".The manager at Jiffy-Lube basically just said "you can't prove that it was our fault, so we are not paying". The bottom line is that these people are incompetent, and when they mess-up your car you will be left to pay all the bills. This simple oil change cost be more than 3 times the original cost. If you are living on a college student budget, or anyone who doesn't want to waste their hard earned money, don't let this Jiffy-Lube location touch your car! read more

I am downgrading by one star because Inherent in the name "Jiffy Lube" is the assumption that it will be done in a "jiffy." Jiffy Lube's website says that an oil change takes 15-30 minutes. My experience is that it takes 45-60 minutes. Updating this so that other reviewers know to carve out a little extra time for the oil change. The service is still good and they do a good oil change. read more

I usually get my oil change at Walmart in Fredericksburg, but this time I didn't want to drive an hour 30 minutes to get my oil changed so I decided to go to jiffy lube for the first time. I told them I wanted to get oil changed and they asked me if I wanted blended or full synthetic. usually I get full synthetic at Walmart for around $60 so I assumed that was standard everywhere. they finished the car and my total was $123. they had charge me about extra 60 dollars and when i asked what that charge was for they told me they went ahead and vacuumed, checked engines, filled my washer fluid, and some other stuff i never asked for or was told about prior. like who does this? and they stated that i have warrantee on the oil ?? that does not even make sense. I visited this morning to get my oil changed and tires rotated and well.. not happy at all about the visit. The oil change didnt take long at all, however, i was told that the customer service manager stated they couldnt do the tire rotation because of aftermarket wheels on my vehicle. I got back in the car after i paid for the oil change, and they didnt reset the maintainence required light, and printed the reminder sticker and handed it to me with the invoice instead of them putting it on the windshield like everywhere else does. Definately the last time ill waste my time, which as an uber partner, is invaluable.. at this location.. i may try the one on pantops again, or simply have it done somewhere else, that can actually do the job at hand correctly instead of advertising as a "multi-care" and can barely do an oil change.. and still going to have to go somewhere else to rotate my tires.. **this location is the one right beside the 7eleven on greenbrier dr.** How could they improve? Went to this location two weeks ago to try to get my oil changed. When I pulled up and got out I was quoted an oil change for 79.99 which seemed a bit high but I said ok because I had a $10 off coupon. As I sat down the gentleman came to get my information and then all of the sudden the oil change went from 79.99 to 99.99. I said to him what happened to the 79.99 he said he forgot the priced changed granted this is what the do all day long but he forgot the price. I told him don't touch my car I will never pay no one $100 for an oil change. He thought since I was a female he thought he was going to get over on me. Don't do it. Toyota Prius stopped dead inside the bay after oil change. Required me to tow the vehicle to a local dealership and incur over $400 in costs to return the vehicle to operating condition. Was told this is quite common at quick change oil locations with Prius models (by the manufacturer) due to poor quality of service. Clamps not reconnected but most disturbing, per the dealership, the "air intake not connected likely from someone checking the engine air filter. The ductwork that was disconnected caused the mass airflow sensor to have no air passing it." $80 oil change and incompetence leads to $400+ at my expense. Anthony offering to pay for the clamps that had to be replaced ($35) but nothing more. Save yourself and go elsewhere. read more

I stopped by a couple of days ago because my car was a quart low. They changed the oil, but they didn't have the right filter. So Mike told me he couldn't charge me because they weren't able to complete their checklist. Who does that? 5 quarts of synthetic oil for free. I asked him to order the filter, had it installed, and paid for the service two days later. They were fast, friendly, and they even had a monitor in the waiting room where I could watch everything they were doing under the hood. read more

At one point a guy comes in the waiting room and says "You know us, just talking up a storm" as the explanation of why it was taking so long.... Absolutely deplorable. The manager Mike outright made claims that were COMPLETELY untrue about my oil,washer, radiator fluid replacement. In effect they did practically NOTHING. i even had to return to get my washer fluid changed....which THEY STILL DID NOT DO. She had gone to Jiffy Lube before she left for school. I told her to stop by in Charlottesville and have them check it . The gentleman who reviewed my order was courteous. The person behind the counter was rude, acted as if he couldn't be bothered. Couldnt even look me in the eye and hand me my bill. Bizarre. An idiot who put off everyone in the room. Report says the counter was manned by "robert". And I spent good money. Was in a hurry. My lady friend tried to steer me away from this location. But I had been a customer for past 5 years. They used to vacuum your inside and check your tire pressure. I guess this isn't part of the outrageous cost associated with a quick oil change. Took our late model Nissan Rogue in for an oil change and new air filter. Within 2 weeks the car broke down on the highway leaving me stranded. After paying to have vehicle towed to dealership, come to find out that when Jiffy Lube changed air filter, they removed the filter housing and put the new filter in with no housing!! This caused debris to get into engine and caused it to shut off. Also found out that they put the wrong transmission fluid in the car. These people do not know what they are doing. Do not trust them with your vehicle. read more

I have a Honda mini-van. The air filter is located behind the glove box. Instead of properly dismantling the glove box to get to the filter they used brute force and broke it. I found out about it when I went to the other Jiffy Lube N on 29. Now I don't trust either of them. Beware! read more

I was really impressed today by the service I got at Jiffy Lube. I had a pleasant (and quick) experience getting my oil changed, but what really impressed me was what happened later. I leaked oil all the way home, because of a crack in my oil cap. I didn't notice, but the Jiffy Lube employees did as I was pulling away. They didn't have my phone number on record, but they did have my address. They came straight to my home, knocked on my door, and told me about the problem. They checked it out, went back to Jiffy Lube to get the supplies they needed, and came back to my house to fix it there so I didn't have to tow it or chance driving with it.
