Arrived for an oil change. The shop was busy in the early afternoon. I also requested a complimentary brake inspection, as advertised, and mentioned that my vehicle would shake severely when braking. In the end, the clerk indicated that the brakes were absolutely fine. I had to ask again to make sure. Because, soon after, I brought the vehicle to my usual mechanic, who showed that the front rotors/pads were warped and covered with mini cracks. For this Jiffy Lube experience, the conclusion was either a) they lied and never checked those brakes or b) they did check but missed the faults. The latter means that they really did a crappy job, because I could see the warping/cracking with my untrained eyes. The former is simply unacceptable, because a "free brake inspection" was clearly advertised. Perhaps those free extras were false offerings, to lure in customers. Go here, if only a smooth oil change is sought. Do not expect much else. read more

Technician left my undercarriage loose, didn't put it back up properly. It was dragging under my car, I had to stop, I was an hour from home, I had to find rope, crawl under the car in 90 degree weather and use the rope to hold it up until I could get home. Second time I've used jiffy lube, the first one was a warranty nightmare with Mercedes for a straight year because of something they did. I should have learned my lesson. I'm 62 years old, retired army. I pull in the driveway and immediately I'm pointed to a different bay. So I backed up and go to the other bay. And ask a kid is this where you want it? In a very condescending voice he yelled yes. As of I was interrupting his cleaning windows. So I get out of my car to go inside and I leave the car running. He yells "turn it off" like I'm an idiot. very condescending. So I snapped back, "if you yell at me again I'm gonna knock you on your ass." Immediately I'm intercepted by another gentleman, more respectful and professional. He says he's not gonna tolerate me talking to his people that way. Not we're sorry for the kids disrespect. His excuse, was the boy is young, and tired and not having a good day. Like that's makes the kids actions ok. I told him "you don't talk to Customers that way or any adult that way". I wasn't raised that way and I'm not gonna tolerate it. Immediately a little short guy comes out and says we just won't service him. Nothing about they will talk to the kids or find out what the problem was. So immediately it's the customers fault For this kids attitude. I can only assume that the kid was related to the manager. i'm Mexican American. I've only been in cedar city a few months. I was raised in a tough part of East Los Angeles. Respect is at the top of the list where I come from. read more

I went for an oil change they said everything looked good and so I didn't even think to check the oil myself. I drove my car to Las Vegas and back the next week and found out that there was no oil in the my car, completely wrecked my cars engine thanks to them. They forgot to fill the oil in my car I took it to a real mechanic there were no oil leaks or anything they just said that whoever changed your oil the last time did not actually do it. Please take your car to a real mechanic! Jiffy Lube is terrible. read more

We usually go to Walmart but they had a 4 for $99. So we went to Jiffy Lube and they had great service. They told you problems they saw and said what they could do to fix it but put zero pressure on me to use them to service what they saw was wrong. read more

I work for a company and maintain a fleet of vehicles. I had made two appointments to have these vehicles looked at before a road trip, complete with oil change and the big dealership shop gave one of my appointments away. So I took the second vehicle over to jiffy lube. They were $10 cheaper and more thorough. My only complaint is that they did not call me when it was finished. I had to call them. read more

Over the past 15+ years we have taken all 3 of our cars to this location. They have always had fast and friendly service. However, when we took our motor home in, it was a very different story. Called ahead to see if they could do it, and was told they could. Once we got there it was excuse after excuse. It is not that they could not do it, it was that they did NOT WANT to do it. Every time my husband has taken a vehicle in for inspection they always complain about stupid details that when it was inspected by other places in Utah they didn't make a big deal about.Both times this has happened and don't plan on returning to them for oil changes or state inspections.They're so anal about every little thing.Don't recommend at all. read more
