So beware of visits relating to warranty especially pertaining to engine Diagnostics. I had Roadside assistance tow my car here from out of state. It was the closest certified repair dealership required by warranty issues . My vehicle was suffering from oil consumption. Due to an improper engine Diagnostics to begin with, my engine is ruined. BEFORE it was damaged They installed an oil pan instead of replacing factory defective engine gaskets/seals which were covered by warranty. They said PROBLEM SOLVED.... Long story short, the engine was still consuming oil. So on the drive home or shortly afterwards the engine sustains irreparable damage. They then contact the auto manufacturer and tell them them I must have driven around without oil...seriously? Um..did you not refill it with oil after you installed oil pan?either way WARRANTY DENIED Lesson learned when owning a new car check oil daily and at every stop you make.

I called about 5 hours later to check the status and was told oil change had been completed and waiting to check brakes. A few minutes later I was contacted that my car was ready with no problems found. He explained that there was over 60% of the pads left in the front and 80% on the rear. That would be fantastic news if the brakes didn't grind! They test drove and couldn't duplicate the problem. The problem did continue for me driving home. I appreciate they didn't want to do work that wasn't necessary, but service advisor did not care to listen to what I thought might possibly cause the noise. I explained my car had previously been in an accident and had front suspension parts replaced. I suggested it might possibly be a loose pad or calipers loose or hanging up but he blew it off as a sensor. I didn't get the feeling that my problem was worth looking at beyond checking the pads for thickness and diagnosis fee. I basically was charged 204.00 for an oil change including their 3.5% credit card use included. After using my debit card I noticed the fee so changed and wrote a check for 197.00. Maybe it's me, a little confusing thinking debit card is the same as cash (most places). They did however only refund 197.00 of the 204.00 charged. So we are back to 204.00 for an oil change (to be fair, I got my preferred oil) and to be told my brakes are great. I have had people recommend your shop to me in the past and decided to give your shop a try with my brakes issue, but will never recommend or be back. Enjoy your 7 bucks credit card fee you kept, it will give me enjoyment in telling everyone I can of my experience and waste of time and money using your business. Update: I did reach out to Doug, but after emailing back and forth I am unsure he understands my frustrations of getting my brake problem blown off. It was my understanding I was paying for a true evaluation of what is causing the grinding noise. What I received is a free tire store look at the remaining brake pads. I got there 10 minutes before the shop opened and there were already 5 cars ahead of me. That was a good sign to me. Altogether I was there for 1.5 hours. Would have been shorter had I not requested a tire rotation. They informed me I would likely need to replace my front brakes at my next oil change which I was already anticipating. They also checked all my lights to make sure they were working properly. I didn't even have to leave my car for the light inspection and oil change. They do other services, too, but I did not use them during this visit. I will definitely return. I think this is a great shop for women to have their vehicles serviced. I felt respected (especially as a woman) and prices were provided to me before any work was done on my car.

My story begins with a severe oil leak. ( not dripping but pissing out oil). We got oil change…read moredone in April ( 3 months earlier ) I didn't think this leak had anything to do with them but why not have them look just in case we had a defective filter or something loosened up. We dropped the car off the night before after hours and put key in drop box. The next morning I spoke with Paul and told him about my problem. He called me back after finding that we had a hose that sprung a leak that went to the oil cooler. I did some research on the internet and found that out Lexus model had a service bulletin on this and they were going to do this repair by replacing old rubber hose with new metal lines at NO CHARGE. Sounds great... just one problem... This repair needs to be completed by an Authorized Lexus dealer ( closest one in Tulsa ). They vehicle couldn't be driven 5 minutes never mind 2 hours. Paul and crew at Grease Monkey were willing to put a temporary rubber hose which would have allowed me to drive car but was not recommended by them because the risk of failure could be catastrophic. I was able to find replacement part from local parts store and they put new replacement part on for a very fair price which saved me from making a trip to Tulsa Lexus dealer. Thanks for going above and beyond and saving me a ton of time. That's what I call, Customer Service!!!!

The place is a bit outdated and a little dirty. But, it is a tire shop. So that is ok. I walked up to the counter to talk to the man behind it. He was on the phone, so I can wait. But, he never acknowledged me. Never looked my direction. Never gave me a "one second" finger. Never said, "I'll be right with you." I got nothing. So, I stood there for almost 10mins. He kept talking on the phone (to what sounded like a customer, so he was doing his job). But, again, I am standing in front of him and nothing! So I left. I cannot comment on anything else because this was my only (non)interaction. I am sure they do their tire job well, but this was an unfortunate experience. I don't plan on returning, esp. because I know there is another tire shop 3mins away (Plaza Tire Service, whom I did go to and did excellent). So, nothing personal. Just a bad experience.
