This is our third or fourth time stopping at Jiffy Burger in Smith Center and the food is really really good. My wife got a jiffy double cheeseburger with fries and I got a jiffy double cheeseburger with onion rings. We rounded off the meal with Coke. Such a clean friendly diner! Some of the best burgers you will ever eat!! The inside is a throwback with Elvis Presley, James Dean and Marylin Monroe. Awesome place! The only complaint.... It says they are open 7 days a week. My daughter and I drove back from Colorado on 36 highway just to eat here. We drove back on a Sunday and arrived at 4:20pm and not a soul was there. Jiffy Burger has a great selection of fried and deep fried foods such as burgers, fries, cheese balls and everything else you can think of. One of they best qualities of Jiffy is its price. You can easily gorge yourself and spend little money doing it which most people would probably perceive as a negative. Well, my husband and I braved the ultra long & boring drive there for an extended family Xmas celebration. After a long day of basketball, beers, and family time, I was craving a big juicy burger. Enter, Jiffy Burger. Yes, the prices are super cheap, with a menu full of fried foods and burgers. I went with a bacon cheeseburger and fried cheese bites. Yes, the burger was good...and cheap...but super tiny. If I would've known the size, I probably would've went with the double patty, or just ordered 2. The cheese bites were good...kinda hard to mess up fried cheese, right? If I find myself in Smith Center again, I definitely will be hitting up the Jiffy Burger. I'm sure it's the top burger and fried stuff of the town...but that's not really saying too much. read more

"The Hottest Spot in Town!" Originally from Smith County, KS! This place is a must for several reasons ... Cheap! Delicious! Lots to choose from!! Friendly! Retro! Deep-fried deliciousness ... You can't go wrong with the jiffy burger for $1.65 and it comes with L/T/P you can ask for onion (or pretty much anything else. Cyclones (their version of a blizzard) are thick, loaded with goodies (personal favorites are Reece's bps cup, cookie dough, & German chocolate). I've even got my Mr. hooked on the delicious gem! The interior is a little dated but the food, atmosphere, & staff are amazing!! Bonus-- they always do a killer July 4th celebration!! read more

We were on a road trip and missed hitting this joint on our last trip, but it was on our vintage loving radar. We had burgers, fries, onion rings, and a Diet Coke. The wait was good for a busy place. My dogs loved their burgers and fries, since they were so excited about the road trip they wouldn't eat their food or peanut butter! I had a double and gave my buns to the dogs. It was good. Jiffy Burger is as good as it gets. Food reminds you of an old school diner and I'm sure this diner in particular hasn't changed in years! If you go there, I highly recommend the cheese balls (amazing!). The food is relatively cheap, and the portions are just right. A prior reviewer complained about the size of the burger, but it's a standard burger, unlike the McDonald's and Burger King GINORMOUS burgers. Overall, you will love your experience at Jiffy Burger!!
