Wow! I found this company on craigslist first when I was looking for a very large and awkward tree…read morestump to be removed to make room for a fence. I was able to describe the tree, get a quote, and set up an appointment all via email and ZERO problems. He showed up on time and with his equipment. If i didn't like the quote, no problem, he would leave. If I did like it, he had all of his stuff there ready to go. I have never dealt with such a professional, kind, hard working tradesman since I have moved to the area several years ago. I live in a reno, so I've been working with various contractors, tradesman, etc. for the past three years. Again, very professional. Via email the quote was a wide range for a good reason but the upper price point was still very affordable for such a large tree. After showing up and looking at it the quote was within that range and after the job was done, maybe an hour and a half, he charged me $100 LESS than what he quoted me because the job was easier and faster than he anticipated. WHAT?? He charged me LESS than the quote. That is really a first for me. I have an entire acre of tree stumps that I will need done eventually, I know who I'm hiring.

Paid him for half the job with the time set for him to come back. He changed day, then changed time. Needed to reschedule so we texted a few times to get a day and time that worked for both of us. We settled on day and time which he pushed off later but then had family emergency. This was third time no show without any call or text. Then he talked me into scheduling again and did not show or call. This time he had a car accident. Then after trying to get him to bring parts and receipts I was blocked on text. So went to nextdoor and messaged him, he had phone stolen. Not reliable and if you search him on Nextdoor there is at least one lady that paid him in full and he ghosted her without finishing job. The owner of TPM, Tyler Rokowski, was the first to reply to my search on "Yelp." Tyler came the next day, surveilled the damage and got right back to me with his estimate. Not to lock him in on his rate; I just want to say that his price was more than generous. He gave me his appointment date and start time and showed up with his crew and equipment and got right to it. Never have I seen such a hard-working team. They did a great job in a short time. They took down the Part that was laying on my roof, cut away all the branches to prevent further damage and cut down the entire tree, cleaning up the yard as they worked. They took away all of the branches and the big logs, then they ground the stump down. They were at my house at the scheduled time and were gone by 2 pm. I highly recommend this business. I prepaid my accounts for the year and had no idea there was supposedly an outstanding balance associated with one of my properties. Rather than contacting a longtime customer and making a reasonable effort to resolve the issue, they sent the account to collections. I had not been receiving bills that made me aware there was an outstanding balance. After decades of doing business with this company, I would have expected a phone call, an email, or some basic professional courtesy before involving a collection agency. A simple conversation could have resolved this immediately. This is not how you treat a customer who has supported your business for decades and spent thousands of dollars with you. I have lost confidence in this company and will be taking my business elsewhere.
