They promised me they were going to deliver to me and then problems kept coming up. I had to keep contacting them they weren't contacting me. He said he was very busy and did not promise it would be delivered by then. However, he said he would try. He kept me updated along the way and was eventually able to come through with the delivery. The wood appeared as seasoned as he stated and it was a very generous size cord. I was very pleased with the quality and quantity of the wood, and the level of service. I also inquired about a newly planted dogwood tree that was not thriving and he quickly offered some advice on how the tree could be improved next spring. I will definitely be calling on his services in the future based on my experience with his service.

The weather has been absolutely perfect for driveway work. As far as I know, no one has been by. For certain no one has contacted us. For certain no one has done anything in the driveway. No excuses, City Paving. We held a family meeting, I called one last time this morning-2 busy signals and a no answer. The address on the contract is a private residence, not an office. We will pay for another company to come and repair City Pavings workmanship issues before the freezing weather sets in and further damages the driveway. It is a shame we already recommended them to other people. That will never happen again. Oh well, live and learn. Update- So, after 4 months someone came by and looked at it. Says they will be back when the weather is warmer...sigh....it was warmer when we started calling, but whatever. I guess I will cancel the other company. If they actually fix it, I will edit this review then.

I was able to describe the tree, get a quote, and set up an appointment all via email and ZERO problems. He showed up on time and with his equipment. If i didn't like the quote, no problem, he would leave. If I did like it, he had all of his stuff there ready to go. I have never dealt with such a professional, kind, hard working tradesman since I have moved to the area several years ago. I live in a reno, so I've been working with various contractors, tradesman, etc. for the past three years. Again, very professional. Via email the quote was a wide range for a good reason but the upper price point was still very affordable for such a large tree. After showing up and looking at it the quote was within that range and after the job was done, maybe an hour and a half, he charged me $100 LESS than what he quoted me because the job was easier and faster than he anticipated. WHAT?? He charged me LESS than the quote. That is really a first for me. I have an entire acre of tree stumps that I will need done eventually, I know who I'm hiring.
