The service was great, the younger man there helped me with multiple questions I had. I paid cash in full because they have a 6% fee for using cards. I paid $554, the bills where checked there and everything was fine, got my registration/sticker/paper work I needed and the receipt of what was done and paid for. NEXT day I woke up to missed calls/voicemail from the older man(owner) saying 1 of the $100 bills I gave was fake, and i needed to take a real bill so that he could return me the fake one and he wouldn't make a police report. When I heard that all I could think was "I literally just got paid at work, came straight here with that money.Did my boss just play me?" So I called him back and he told me he took the money to a ATM outside a bank and it returned the bill. And that no bank was open to take the bill inside and have it checked. It was almost 10am. When I said ok I can pass right now since im heading to work so the owner can check the bill (banks can trace all money businesses take out to know exactly what bills where handed to them). He let me know the bill wasnt with him anymore, gave it to his WIFE that does NOT work there, so she can check it. He said pass later after 3pm, thats when the bill would be in his hand again. Prior to going on Saturday, I stopped by the SP police department to let them know everything and if I had to make a police report. I played the video of what the man told me over the phone. This is what the police officer told me: When they checked the bills infront of you and gave a receipt they are responsible for that. Me going to the station first was the best thing I could've done, and to NOT give any more money. If they want to make a report let them. The cop even stated that it just sounded like they were trying to get a extra $100. He gave me the incident report # I made for my safety if they do file a police report against me. The main thing "the bill was handled by "many hands" after I paid them, how do I know it's the same bill I gave". I work where I have to check bills and money every day, if we receive any money, it passes the pen mark but not the machine or we do not feel comfortable taking we will ask for a different bill. If it marks dark brown/black we are required to keep the bill and destroy it if we are not filing a police report. Owner said they have video where you see him pen check the bills 2x/light check them and that im still parked outside while they did all of this. So why not come and ask me for a different bill? Or say anything? Or call the police right away? When I told him over the phone Saturday morning that I would be making a police report either way because if the bill is fake like he states then my job owes me, no surprise he completely changed his tone. He started saying it is only $100 that he wont go hungry over it and to just leave it as is.(recorder all this) That all he was doing is letting me know that someone gave me a fake bill and I paid them. I told him No, we need to figure out what happened because at the end of the day that means I was shorted $100 at my job. I told the owner of ES&M I would be back following week after my boss checks with the bank for the serial numbers of the bill I received. But I will take the police advice instead and let it be. I will not be going back because I believe the bill I was handed back on Saturday is not the same one. Now I could be wrong. Which is why they should've made their report. And me checking with the bank would've been the easiest for both of us. The bill the owner returned to me Saturday afternoon is washed, no texture and has 2 pen markings that are the size of a grain of rice(can't even see the marks), nowhere near where it was marked on Friday. Mind you when I got there Saturday afternoon he handed me the fake bill, didn't ask for a real one like stated in his voicemail. All he said is sucks that it happened, we dont want to loose you as a customer and told me not to worry about bringing him $100. Customer service wise was 5/5 on Friday and even when I went on Saturday. But I would not pay Cash here at all!!

She asked for a refund and for her account to be canceled. Once more, he said in a hurry that he would repay her and close her account. Sure enough, she got a bill notification in an email. She contacted once more to make sure her account was closed and to note that her refund had never been sent back. His assistant revealed that Jeff never cancelled her account and that no reimbursement was sent. Again, terrible customer service and very unprofessional employees.

The customer service is non-existent, the wait times are ridiculous, and the staff continues to be rude and unhelpful. You would think after multiple complaints across different platforms, AAA would step in and improve things, but nope--same terrible experience. The last time I was here, the manager was rude to customers right in front of me, and the employees seemed like they couldn't care less. Now, years later, it's clear that nothing has improved. I've since canceled my membership and added roadside assistance through my insurance provider (which has been a much better experience). WED OCT 13 2021 Took my 2001 Nissan Frontier with only 139K miles, in for an inspection and diagnosis of check engine light problem. It was in EXCELLENT mechanical condition except for the check engine light. FRI OCT 15 Went to pick it up and was told by Mustafa Ozden it required an $1800 repair to get the light to stay off. I told him not to do the repair and that I would just take it. From the second I drove it out of the shop, the truck would lunge and pause repeatedly, like a bucking bronco, and cut off in traffic. I drove it back into the garage, just a few hundred yards away. After Mustafa tested it and validated the problem, I left the truck there. TUE OCT 19 Mustafa Ozden called and told me it was fixed. When I called back to tell him I was on my way, he said it still wasn't fixed. FRIDAY OCT 24 He has had my truck for a diagnostic for over almost two weeks and claims he doesn't know what he did wrong. No phone calls or updates from him! Steve H.
