JG Pools did amazing job on the pool, but however, I had them to build an enclosure around my pool equipment. It was attached to my existing fence. It was not a full enclosure after the job was done I was charged $10,000 for the enclosure. The enclosure should've cost 500 at the most the pavers were in backwards a lot of flaws in the pavers. Besides being overcharged for the enclosure, the pavers are ugly. read more

We rarely post bad reviews but sadly we had the worst experience with JG Pools. We had them refinish our pool and the work was done poorly. The finish uneven with bubbles/bumps in spots. Shortly after the pool was done the expensive glass pool tiles we had them put in around the edge began to fall off. After literally months of us reaching out to them they finally sent someone to fix them. Only for weeks after them to fall off again. We spent a lot money having this work done and now we will need to find a new company to repair the work. Juan seemed nice so so we gave them several opportunities to make this right. For months chasing them calling from different number etc. just to get them to answer. We give up we are now looking for a new company to see what we can do to fix our pool read more

I have a fiberglass pool, and those are pretty rare around the Bay Area. That also means finding pros to work on them is a tough task. It took me months to find someone, but it was well worth the wait. Jaime and crew did an amazing job tiling my pool and spa, and they gave me a great price with no surprises when it came time to pay. My tiling was a bit complicated because of an undertrack automatic cover, and I'd had other people tell me it can't be done. It was no issue at all for Jaime's crew. They took great care of my pool, and I very well may be stuck poolside for the next 6 months. Lol. The office is run by Natalia, who was really friendly and helpful. Once the work was done, she even called a couple of times to follow up and make sure everything was okay. I highly recommend Jaime and company! read more

We had a fantastic pool resurface (plaster to mini pebble) and new tile job with JG. We cannot put into words how happy we were with Jaime and his team. Our visit to the showroom went great - they sent us home with tile samples to try in different lighting. Jaime told us the job from start to finish would take about two weeks. They finished the entire job in just under two weeks. The crew who came out was professional, neat and hardworking. Each day they cleaned up so we could still use our backyard. JUST HIRE JAIME AND CREW. WHAT A GOOD FIND. I spoke to 13 pool contractors until I had met Jaime. Everyone I had spoken to either just tell me problems and no concrete solutions and if they happen to give solutions they charge exorbitant prices. The ONLY person who came, stuck to his word and provided his quote in merely a day or two, provided the crew and even worked with me today to find areas where we could cut costs was Jaime. He is very knowledgeable, has a huge crew who all are very hardworking. We did a pool remodeling and plastering with Jaime. Day 1 crew dug the existing plaster carefully without harming my tiles. Day 2 and 3 was new plaster, new equipment, lights, mastics etc. A week later he himself found me a great contact to do monthly maintenance and then sent his crew for final clean up. I am passing Jaime's contact to everyone in my friends circle and you will not be disappointed. read more

The fiberglass on my pool developed cracks and needed repair. JG Bay Area Pool was recommended. I made contact with Jaime, the owner, and set a date for the repair. The crew chief was Luis along with Sergio and Simon. The job took two days. I was very pleased with the workmanship and attention to detail. Luis did an excellent job of explaining the process and answering my questions. The men impressed me with their attention to detail. You could tell they took pride in their work. They were very respectful of the artificial turf around the pool deck and when they finished the turf was cleaner than before they came. JG Bay Area Pool is a real find for me. Really bad experience Jaime seemed nice but the tile I chose all of a sudden wa not available. his team broke my stairs leading to the pool. They damaged plants & furniture by dumping the material they removed from the pool . The tile looks uneven and not professional- when I should it to Jaime, he said " the pool is already full, I don't want to empty for a little mistake" Shotty job, filled the pool before I could inspect and still (2months) later, your feet get bloody going inside! this is what it it looks like! read more

Jaime's team has done a great job with a very good price remodeling my entire pool within a week. They have fixed coping that the previous contractor left out for free, replaced the tiles with the price at least $1000 cheaper than others have estimated. also, put turtles and fish tiles on the bottom and tiles around stairs without asking for extra labor. He knows the previous contractor has cost me so much without doing the job, he offered me a very good price for replastering the pool. Jaime is very kind and professional. His team is friendly, has always arrived on time, and has done a great job quickly. They cleaned up after the project and also cleaned the mess my previous contractor has left on the site without extra cost. I highly recommend Jaime's service. read more

AVOID !!! Terrible company to work with - poor service, unreliable, and no warranty. We had two fountain head replacements installed incorrectly by this company, and both fountains ended up leaking. After several messages, Jaime finally arranged to send his crew out to repair the fountain heads. They came to repair and simply added more mortar to "seal" the problem. The crew was gone in 10 min. Again, the fountains were leaking after this second visit. I contacted Jaime again, and he committed to fixing the problem and gave me a new date when they would return to fix the problem. That day came and went. No response since. I will be pursuing a court claim, and finding someone else to fix the problem. Save yourself the headache and find another company to work read more

We did a complete pool remodeling with JG Bay Area Pools (including re-plastering with pebble finish, new tiles and coping) and we had a great experience with this company from start to finish! Jaime and his team been very professional, flexible, very nice and kind at every step of this big and stressful project! We actually hired JG Bay Area Pools after the demolition was done half way by another "respectable" company, with which we didn't have a good experience and wanted to part ways, as they tried to add about $10K to already very expensive project for something we even didn't agree to do. Then fortunately we found Jaime and he just saved us! :) He knows the industry very well, as he actually works in it (compared to other "fancy" companies, who just send you salesmen). Jaime and his team did a great job on our pool remodel, they did everything by the agreed scheduler and even faster. The other great thing about working with Jaime was that he didn't try to get more money by doing change requests at every little thing, but the opposite - Jaime was kind and generous, he even added several things, like tile diamonds at the steps and more glass pebbles into the mix. Jaime was also great with fixing cracks in the pool shell and we really appreciated that he been ready to discuss with us the best strategy to address the issues. Another amazing thing about this company is that they actually respect the Warranty. Because of the heavy rains this year we had an issue with the hardscaping pushing on the pool coping, which caused the coping to detach. We been very upset that this happened to our new pool, but then Jamie came right away and told us not to worry, as they will fix it.
