The sales associate are lazy and do not follow up with the clients as promised via email. I've called to try to speak with the manager or owner but I never got through to them and they don't let you leave a voicemail. The entire experience has been truly awful. I've never been treated so poorly as a customer in my life until I went to Orr's jewlers. I'd recommend trying the other two authorized dealers in Pittsburgh if you want a real chance at getting a watch.

When you own a piece of quality jewelry it must not only be handled with care but also properly serviced. In my case my basic Cartier watch was overdue for a battery replacement. I brought the watch over to the store last week and due to Co-Vid 19 guidelines had to leave the watch for 3 days before the watchmaker could inspect it and advise me if any other work needed done on it. I heard back from them yesterday and was told that the battery was all that was necessary and I could pick it up at my convenience. I stopped over there to get it and interacted with some of the nicest sales staff I ever met. I was also interested in purchasing a pearl necklace. My saleslady named Leslie took the time to explain the care of pearls and how they must be treated differently than diamonds. I was interested in a single pearl pendant on 18k white gold chain. The one she showed me was simple and yet elegant enough for my needs. I took my time practicing with the clasp which worked well. Leslie took the time to address all my concerns and how to protect my little investment. I went ahead with my purchase and was given not only an instruction book but a polishing cloth for the pearl itself. I was told that whenever I needed it they would be happy to clean and inspect the chain. I should note that there is no pressure when it comes to buying. If you aren't ready for any reason then you can forgo the sale. They have a limited return policy which is on the back of your invoice should you decide to buy. If you are making a high end investment they have promotions through Synchrony bank which you can pay over time. I was also happy to learn that some of existing jewelry could be cleaned and inspected by their jeweler even if I hadn't bought the piece there. When it comes to care of fine jewelry I prefer that it is cleaned and inspected at the store to insure that nothing is loose. They can either repair on the premises or send it out accordingly. Since I don't know if designer houses are currently open due to the pandemic I told them that I would wait until things get better before bringing in what few pieces I have that needed looked at. Currently the same procedure is required. You must leave your jewelry at their shop for three days before someone will look at it. Under normal circumstances they can do that on the same day. This location is in Sewickley and they have their own parking lot. Their other location is in Squirrel Hill. Either location will be more than happy to services your fine jewelry needs.

Did I mention the accessories? Put your pocketbook whoas to rest - they've got a little something for everyone. I still remember getting my first Little Hooker there and feeling oh so special (it's a jeweled hanger to keep your handbag off the floor while dining out ;), before it showed up in gift bags at the Oscars. I tried a rew places while shopping in Squirrel Hill, but alas came up empty handed. Spoiled Chic's did not disappoint however. I bought my friend some nice Ombre scarves from Two's Co. One was a nice solid, the other a bold chevron pattern knit scarf. I saw a few items I would have enjoyed for myself too, but so much to buy, so little money. One thing that I like is Spoiled Chics has a lot of merchandise that's made in the USA and is NOT sweat-shop sourced. They also buy a lot of items from female enterpreneurs. And in the past they have supported several womens' causes.

While some items are higher end and a bit pricey you Can also find really great brands of great quality that are more affordable. They have a 14 day store credit only return policy. My only Complaints were that the heat was so high in the store i felt sick. Especially in the dressing room. Also the mirrors are verrrry tilted so I hope the items I purchased still look good at home.

Accessories and home goods co-mingle with clothing, which leads the shopper to examine every corner of the store and not just a specific section. In this way, Bellwether immerses you in its displays, making you examine each one for a special piece. The looks seem to appeal to a clientele that is perhaps not *quite* as youthful as Rosewood, but perhaps not as matured as Soho or Spoiled Chics. I ended up buying a set of jewelry dishes with my initials on them, and the woman in the shop was very friendly. While the clothing is not quite of my style or size range, I do like this shop and I think that Bellwether is a welcome addition to the Village scene.

We were completely satisfied. After my fiancée dropped off her engagement ring, Brian created and sent us a picture of a wax model of a band. We loved it, and told him to go ahead with the project. When I finally visited the shop to see the model and pick up her engagement ring, Brian told us he cleaned the ring and had to reset some of the diamonds that came loose (free of charge). While in the shop, I spotted a white gold band I liked and decided to purchase it as my wedding band. When we returned to pick up the final wedding bands, Brian admitted that he has been busy and forgot about my wedding band, sincerely apologized, and said he would work on it immediately and overnight it (we were located in Pittsburgh in the spring but were driving in from about two hours away). I told him that would be just fine as we had plenty of time. He also offered to shine my fiancée's engagement ring to match the luster of her new wedding band and said it'd take about 30 minutes. We said sure. Well, 30 or so minutes later he returned with her shined ring and, to my utter surprise, my wedding band! To me this displayed that Brian truly cares about his customers and carrying through on his commitments. Given the pandemic, we communicated with Brian mainly over email and phone. Brian was communicative and clear and accurate with pricing. But I also really enjoyed our two visits; Brian is super knowledgeable and nice to talk with. We would absolutely work with him again for jewelry work.
