So opted to go with daily pass for 18 just to ensure they loved place before committing. Once we entered the play area come to find out they had a basic membership for $20. Which was never told to us at time of doing the one hour admission. We would have opted for that. Tried talking to the staff about that they said nothing can be done. So we still signed them up for a monthly pass afterwards because they had fun but that is just bad practice. Still waiting to hear from manager on what can be done. We are on day 4 with no response from them

However, we have only been to Flipz for birthday parties, YAY! It's a great little place to have a birthday party! We even hosted my daughter's birthday party here. They offer 1 1/2 hour long parties, for 10 children, for $108 and $50 non-refundable deposit. I believe this deposit can go towards your party cost, but I can't remember for sure. The parties are 1 hour on the floor and 30 minutes in the party room. The floor includes rock climbing, a rope swing, and obstacle course, a 40 ft long trampoline, the foam pit, and balance beems. The usually have one to two staff members on hand to "supervise" the children or help if they need it. The party room isn't really a room, it's an open space, divided into two "areas" above the gymnastics floor. They have two banquet tables per "area" with enough chairs for 10-12 people. They have bleachers behind the tables for additional seating. The plus is you can bring in any food you want: pizza, sandwiches, cake, homemade, or whatever floats your boat, really. It's a rather large facility located on the north side of Columbia, towards Lake of the Woods area and their parking lot is pretty small. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly. If you are looking for an alternate option for a child's birthday party, this is a nice choice to have available.

Even though a couple more dollars than the other options it would be my preference to go back here.

I can show my call log in the late hours of night along with proof of name calling , profanity and proof of the unprofessionalism this woman has for people who don't drink her kool-aid. you will notice on their fb site as well as Google they have removed the option to leave a review with stars. they are pleading that I not share my experience once they realized I have proof of what they said when they called me at my house on my phone to lash out and bad mouth other gyms , people etc. I will say I was refunded my money but asked to remove my review and not share what happened. such a fraudulent business (In my opinion) thank you Yelp for allowing me to share my experience!

My child attended this gym for several seasons as on the all- star cheer teams and also did…read moretumbling here. The first season we had a great experience. The next season for was awful. The coaches talked down to the kids and always made them feel like that no matter how hard they tried it was got enough. When you would bring it to the owners attention they would look the other way. Another about this gym is they make you sign a contract at try outs with all the rules and fees. About month after the contract was sign the raised there prices by double. Many children get hurt as well at this gym a season due to they have to many classes going on at one time and not enough space. They are making it more of a ymca then an all-star cheer and tumbling gym. And they just look at you as a dollar sign. They other thing about this gym is the have their favorite's if you child is not a favorite they don't care about you child. I am thankful we cut our losses when we did and got out. My child is also having to relearn almost all of her tumbling due to it not being taught right.

Their coaches are good but frequently too gruff with the younger children. I think the owners have potential if they learn three concepts of dealing with the public: don't take it personal, don't take parent's actions out on the children, and stick to your decisions. The owners offer a good product but frequently get wrapped up in the "mama drama" and do some unethical business practices. They change their minds on the urging of parents without reasoning and appearing unbiased. There are parent issues at this gym like Moms telling their kids to drop fliers when they are forced to base in Cheer. You have to nip that behavior early to prevent kids from developing bad behaviors at the gym. Tumbling and Gymnastics is less dramatic and is frequently over shadowed by the cheer team. I know they are working on that aspect, but until the cheer side learns to be less dramatic, I don't see that changing. much.
