we loved everything about this park! much preferred the quiet, less busy side of Clearwater beach. we were able to rent beach chairs, umbrellas, and even sand toys here. spent several hours watching the boats coming in and out of the harbor. would definitely return!

The absolute best place to watch the cruiseships sailing away or for a picnic near the ocean. New facilities currently being built (new restrooms, pavilion, and playground opening soon). There's a fishing pier or you can fish from the rocky shore by the parking area. The staff is a great group of people who are always super friendly to me. I haven't gone to jetty park to go to the beach, but many people do. There's a no pet policy for the park area which I appreciate. The camping area could be different as far as pets but I'm not 100% sure. Super close to plenty of dining and entertainment options. Highly recommend! If you are a Brevard County resident, you can get an annual pass for $25.

$15 to park, or buy a year pass. Brevard residents can get a year pass for $25. We opted for this pass. You pay online, they have a QR code to scan and pay ahead of time. We came to watch a rocket launch. They do have. Showers to rinse off. We will be back here plenty of times!

Great view of the Disney Fantasy sailing out!

Came here to watch the cruise ships sail out (yes I'm that nerd, lol). My experience was limited, but what I did experience was fine. The biggest thing to note is that you have to 'reserve' parking ahead of time. They have a sign posted at the entrance that tells people not to proceed if they don't have a pre-paid parking voucher. I imagine if you didn't you could stop and purchase one real quick right then and there if they still had openings. It was nice to see they had restrooms available right at the parking lot. There was also plenty of parking, at least the day I was there. The attendant who scanned my voucher was also super friendly. I took a spot on the bench near the building, and then when the ships came by walked out onto the rocks a little bit. It was super windy; not sure if that's all the time or just that day. Not really a downside, just a word of caution (and maybe bring a jacket). There were lots of people going down the pier to fish, so it was pretty busy. Overall, not much else to say. It was a great place to watch the ships, and super easy to do parking ahead of time.

Great beach, clean restrooms and plenty of parking. We really appreciated the military discount as well.

Jetty Park is quite alright. It combines a pier that it is nice to walk along. The pier dives the beach & the port where you can often view people heading out on a cruise. Cape Canaveral is one of the busiest ports for cruise ships in the world. On the pier you often will see fisherman fish. On the other side of the pier is the beach where tourists, surfers, locals, & a melting pot of people are. I believe it is $5 for a day trip yet came here w/ a friend who gets an annual pass for $15.

We decided that the boat launch of Jetty Park was the best location for the Spacex satellite launch. The area is well lit, parking is plentiful, and you can observe the local fishermen and their catch. It didn't disappoint! I finally, after one night's delay, got to cross off a bucket list item - wonderful view of the launch !! Even if it's not a launch you're after, this is the perfect place to watch the cruise ships (when they return) depart or arrive at Port Canaveral. There are also clean restrooms in the area.

We finally were able to come to the park. It had a lot more than I expected. There are a lot of animals and a great beach and a pier with a ton of fish that you can catch. We will definitely be back. Pay online so when you get to the gate, you just show them that you paid and they let you in.

This is always our go too place for space x launches. U need to get here early though if u want a spot because it's usually packed out early

Beautiful place. Great walking path, park and beach. We will go here again. And again. I'll let the pictures speak for me...

Jetty Park is a beautiful 35 acre park with a fishing pier, beach and RV campground. Even though it was a very hot day the cool breeze coming off the ocean made it quite pleasant on the pier. There was a lot of activity, people were windsurfing some were just surfing, and others were fishing off the pier. We also watched and waved at a couple of cruise ships on their way out of Port Canaveral. Plenty of clean restrooms, and even shower areas.

This was my first visit to Jetty Park and if it wasn't for my family reunion I may not have come here. You have to pay to enter the park. If you're not a Brevard County resident you pay $15 for the day per car. Luckily I'm a new Brevard County resident and my admission was $5. They also offer annual park passes. There's a large campground onsite where you can pull up your RV and campout. There's a pretty decent playground, access to the beach, snack shop and an area where you can rent a covered Pavillion. Since this was a holiday weekend, my family had reserved 2 pavilions a year in advance. I highly recommend if you can't get one of the larger pavilions to get Pavillion 11 and 12 as there's a nice large tree that offers additional shade. Each Pavillion has a grill and a park bench table. Very nice place to have a birthday party etc. The park officials come around periodically to empty the trash cans that are near. It's a great location for fishing, watching the cruise ships go by or for just relaxing. I personally didn't go to the beach because it was way too hot and too many people. My only complaint is regarding the paid Pavillion area. We encountered several people trying to take our Pavillion even though our name was on it as reserved. Even the park officials had a hard time with getting people to leave the paid area. Not sure what can be done about this but it got a little annoying. Other than that it was a fun time had by all.

We had horrible weather that cut our trip short, and the fish just started biting right when it was time to leave, but I do not hold that against them as they can't control nature. We did catch our limit of kings, couple Atlantic sharpnose sharks, and three remora. Lost two kings. We went out with Captian Zach on the Under Fire. He was a cool dude who found us some big fish and kept us out longer than all the other captains due to the rough seas and incoming weather. I'd definitely fish with him again. For anyone wondering how to fly their fish home, it's pretty easy. Publix down here sells dry ice for about $1.50/lbs. You can have a max of 5.5lbs of dry ice in your checked luggage, no "water" ice allowed. Buy a $7 styrofoam cooler from the marina, put your fish in it with the dry ice on top, fill with bubble wrap so it doesn't move, tape the cooler shut and then wrap with bubble wrap, pop a "vent hole" through the bubble wrap and cooler, then throw it in a box and tape it shut, and put a note on the box that says "Contains Dry Ice" and TSA will let you check it with any airline. I looked and looked for a business that would vacuum seal our fish and freeze it, and pack it for us to fly home and I couldn't find one. Captain Zach was happy to fillet our fish for us which was awesome and convenient. I'd have paid extra if Fired Up would buy a company vacuum sealer and let the captains seal it up in two pound portions hint hint ;-) Fish keeps so much longer in vacuum bags not that this is gonna last very long as we will eat it fast. We will definitely be back for more fishing in the future.

I did not see many fish caught. It seemed that everyone fed a lot of bait to the fish. The fish are very adept at nibbling and stealing the bait without taking the hook. I did get one good strike and played it for about 20 seconds, but the line snapped and whatever it was took the bait and the hook. I could complain that I did not catch a fish to take home and eat, but I will not. This is called "fishing", not "catching". It is not a sure thing to bring home anything. They also provided valuable information on how to properly handle and secure your hook, as well as how to properly bait the hook. The GALLEY CHEF provided SIMPLE FOOD that was TASTY and SATISFYING. OK, I could write for hours on how great the trip was, how on top of things Scott was and how many big fish we caught but I think you get the idea - it was a great day! We reserved Captain Scott's services for an outing over Father's Day weekend. He dropped his nets and hat us bait fish in no time flat and then we were off. No sooner than he dropped a line in the water for us, we were pulling up a nice big Rainbow Runner. Over the day we caught our fair share of fish and I was eating Cobia out of my freezer for weeks. If you're wondering how much different a charter boat is from a "party boat" like the Miss Cape Canaveral and Orlando Princess, I'll put it like this. One of my catches on the Charter boat had more meat than ALL of the fishes I've caught on over 10 outings on those party boats...combined! I'm spoiled now and I'll most likely never step foot on anything but Scott's boat for charter fishing now. When we mentioned who we went with around other fishermen, they all knew Scott and told us we picked right. Everyone Knows Scott, it seems. Tips: Bring your own cooler, drinks and food. Bring some sunscreen and a hat Captain Scott's got the rest I truly have nothing bad to say about the outing and I have already booked him for the Saturday before Father's Day 2015 so back off, it's mine!
