The best part about this place is being able to reserve parking online. If you do that, from what I understand, you are guaranteed entry. Bonus, if there is a line waiting for the booth and someone scans your QR code before that, you can just swing around them and enter if there is room. You still get a great view of SpaceX though those pads are about as far to the north as you can get. The real reason to go here would be for any boosters coming down to the LZs or perhaps Blue Origin which I believe launches from the south. read more

The absolute best place to watch the cruiseships sailing away or for a picnic near the ocean. New facilities currently being built (new restrooms, pavilion, and playground opening soon). There's a fishing pier or you can fish from the rocky shore by the parking area. The staff is a great group of people who are always super friendly to me. I haven't gone to jetty park to go to the beach, but many people do. There's a no pet policy for the park area which I appreciate. The camping area could be different as far as pets but I'm not 100% sure. Super close to plenty of dining and entertainment options. Highly recommend! If you are a Brevard County resident, you can get an annual pass for $25. read more

Came here to watch the cruise ships sail out (yes I'm that nerd, lol). My experience was limited, but what I did experience was fine. The biggest thing to note is that you have to 'reserve' parking ahead of time. They have a sign posted at the entrance that tells people not to proceed if they don't have a pre-paid parking voucher. I imagine if you didn't you could stop and purchase one real quick right then and there if they still had openings. It was nice to see they had restrooms available right at the parking lot. There was also plenty of parking, at least the day I was there. The attendant who scanned my voucher was also super friendly. I took a spot on the bench near the building, and then when the ships came by walked out onto the rocks a little bit. It was super windy; not sure if that's all the time or just that day. Not really a downside, just a word of caution (and maybe bring a jacket). There were lots of people going down the pier to fish, so it was pretty busy. Overall, not much else to say. It was a great place to watch the ships, and super easy to do parking ahead of time. read more

Jetty Park is quite alright. It combines a pier that it is nice to walk along. The pier dives the beach & the port where you can often view people heading out on a cruise. On the other side of the pier is the beach where tourists, surfers, locals, & a melting pot of people are. We decided that the boat launch of Jetty Park was the best location for the Spacex satellite launch. The area is well lit, parking is plentiful, and you can observe the local fishermen and their catch. It didn't disappoint! I finally, after one night's delay, got to cross off a bucket list item - wonderful view of the launch !! Even if it's not a launch you're after, this is the perfect place to watch the cruise ships (when they return) depart or arrive at Port Canaveral. We were really glad that we rode our bikes here since we saved what seemed to be a steep $15 admission fee (must be too close to Disney that this pricing seems OK to charge). Two weeks ago we paid only $6 for a wonderful state park like Myakka near Sarasota. Anyway, there is a very nice beach here and what I am guessing great fishing off the jetty given the number of people fishing. If cruise ships were sailing it would be a fun place to watch them go by. There is also a campground. We found a shady picnic table near the channel and watched all the action while eating our lunch. A lot going on at this place that is for sure. read more

Overall good park, would come back. Has a playground, bait shop, pavilion, cafe, and pier. It's 15 dollars for entry and has a good amount of parking. Fishing at the pier was solid and you can also watch the cruise ships leaving. Pier also has two area for cleaning fish. read more

Jetty Park is a beautiful 35 acre park with a fishing pier, beach and RV campground. Even though it was a very hot day the cool breeze coming off the ocean made it quite pleasant on the pier. There was a lot of activity, people were windsurfing some were just surfing, and others were fishing off the pier. We also watched and waved at a couple of cruise ships on their way out of Port Canaveral. Plenty of clean restrooms, and even shower areas. read more

Love going to Jetty Park. There is plenty of parking, a nice clean beach, camping, and a long pier along the canal that boats take to the ocean. Whenever I've gone there with friends we always see loggerhead turtles, that is a thrill. There are. A lot of people fishing along the pier and everyone seems to be very friendly. This was my first visit to Jetty Park and if it wasn't for my family reunion I may not have come here. You have to pay to enter the park. If you're not a Brevard County resident you pay $15 for the day per car. Luckily I'm a new Brevard County resident and my admission was $5. They also offer annual park passes. There's a large campground onsite where you can pull up your RV and campout. There's a pretty decent playground, access to the beach, snack shop and an area where you can rent a covered Pavillion. Since this was a holiday weekend, my family had reserved 2 pavilions a year in advance. I highly recommend if you can't get one of the larger pavilions to get Pavillion 11 and 12 as there's a nice large tree that offers additional shade. Each Pavillion has a grill and a park bench table. Very nice place to have a birthday party etc. The park officials come around periodically to empty the trash cans that are near. It's a great location for fishing, watching the cruise ships go by or for just relaxing. I personally didn't go to the beach because it was way too hot and too many people. My only complaint is regarding the paid Pavillion area. We encountered several people trying to take our Pavillion even though our name was on it as reserved. Even the park officials had a hard time with getting people to leave the paid area. Not sure what can be done about this but it got a little annoying. Very disappointed. We have been going there for many years and loved it. For $16 you got parking, rest rooms, showers leaving beach area , and changing stations, plus gift shop and concession stand. Today we went for the first time in quite a while, I paid the usual $16 ( on line only). To our dismay, we found the all the restrooms closed in the beach area, plus all the water shut off at the shower stations, concession stand closed as well. No mention of this online. My first visit to this area of Florida and we are here for the rocket launch scheduled for this week. Having lived in South Florida for years we never ventured north of Palm Beach County, we had it all there why look elsewhere. Well that was a mistake because this place is truly unique. We are within eye distance of the Space Center and a short walk away from Cocoa Beach, all inviting us to come check them out. Our resort overlooks the port where outrageously large cruise ships enter and leave. I've never seen such monsters! They look inviting but I'm not sure I would want to be confined for a long period of time, but those boarding were extremely excited. Jetty Park has a fantastic soft sand beach with seashells and clean sand! I was pleasantly surprised. They offer typical beach set ups and they do have life guards. The water is wading water with small waves that extends pretty out from the beach which makes it great for kids. It's a great beach and port friendly town. There are other things to do in Florida that do not include the MOUSE and this is one of them. Give em a visit, you'll be surprised just how much fun you missed! read more

I love Jetty Park. We paid an inexpensive $15 charge for the day entrance. This allowed private beach access, pier fishing, and best of all an amazing relaxing view. The atmosphere is just overall pleasant and relaxing. The park is very clean and has plenty of picnic tables etc for family time. The park is completely wheelchair accessible and has a beach wheelchair for access of the private beach area. This review is on breach condition as of 7/21/2019, and probably valid for the next month or 2. Horrible water condition due to port dredging. Water and waves are coffee brown until 20 yards out. Have to walk a mile down where the muck stops coming into the beach. Def. Not worth paying for day pass for the beach. read more

Great park, very clean, and lots of amenities. They have camping sites that we enjoyed with the kids. The bathrooms on the camping site are well maintained. There's also beach volleyball court, BBQ areas/grills and some tent area for church events or group events (make sure you reserve them or the staff is not going to be friendly about you sitting under the tents) The best thing of this place is that you can fish without a fishing license on shore because it's technically a private area. Although the sad part is the parking is too expensive for non brevard county residents. If you come on a holiday, the place is going to be packed, and paying for that much to get almost no parking space is absolutely terrible. read more

I come to Jetty Park fairly often as I have friends who seem to be completely in love with this park. It does have it's allure with respect to having several public bathrooms, a bait shop/ convenient store. It even has an indoor seating and balcony area. Camping grounds, several BBQ pits stationed in different areas, a sizable pier, restaurants nearby,so yeah; definitely see why this would be the hangout spot. Something to consider however is that they charge $10 per car, and you only get a discount if you're a Brevard county resident, yet other nearby beaches don't charge anything as far as I know. Another subject that I can't seem to budge out of my mind is that cruise ships dock here, so when they expel the waste that's being carried off the ship, some of that is bound to be carried off in the water that you're swimming in only a couple miles away from...Maybe I'm over-analyzing it, but I just can't help but wonder if those dark nugget looking thingies floating around are really sea turtles or...... Overall it's a great place to spend the day. There's lot's of scenic spots that are truly impressive, and definitely worth a visit. read more

NO LIE - This beach is actually better than some I've been to in the Caribbean! Light powdery sand, warm water, clean beach, restrooms and showers... a recipe for vacation ecstasy. Also, I thought it super cool and convenient that they have beach rental services. Great for out town travelers, like myself; for $15 a day you can get their beach set up service, which includes two beach chairs with cushions and one umbrella. Plus they accept credit cards...SWEET...especially if you're like me and never carry cash (so sad, but true). Parking was $10 for non-residents. I do wish they would have had more lifeguards on duty, but I won't complain, since I can swim. Though its def something to think about if you have small children. read more

I've camped around FL and in other states such as Georgia, South Carolina, Louisiana, and Texas, by far on of the best campgrounds I've been too is Jetty Park. The sites are cozy if not spacious, the bathrooms are kept clean if not large and accommodating, by what sets this place apart is it's location. Just outside of Cape Canaveral and a short drive be to Cocoa Beach, this park has everything for the lover of sea - fishing, surfing, biking on the beach, there's so much you can do and choose not too you can make your stay as adventurous or lazy as you want. There's plenty to do at the campground and if that bores you Cocoa Beach and its offerings are only a shirt trip by car away. The only reason I don't give it a full five stars? The bathroom size leaves a bit to be desired. But as mentioned earlier they are kept clean. read more

Nice fishing spot. Be warned if you're not from Brevard County, the fee to gain entry into the park is $15. Bring cash. Theres a nice bait shop around the corner with live bait because the bait shop at the park only has frozen bait. I recommend getting at the pier to fish as early as possible maybe when the park opens at 5 AM to get a good spot on the pier to fish. Try and bring more than one fishing rod to diversify your catches. read more

My mom was in town and I learned that the Delta IV Rocket was launching during her visit. We chose Jetty Park as a place to witness the launch. It was $15 for parking for non-county residents which was a little pricey (but a lot cheaper then the 2 $50 for the Kennedy Space Center). The park has a perfect view of the launch site from their river area. I can't speak to any of the other attractions but if you want to check out a rocket launch I definitely recommend this place. read more

Jetty Park is a beautiful county beach park in Cape Canaveral, Florida, the admission is now $15 per vehicle for non Brevard County residents and still $5 if you reside in this county but either way it's definitely worth the admission. We came here today to watch an Atlas V Rocket Launch from the SLC-41 complex and for this type of Rocket Launch there is not a better place to see it up close. There is plenty of viewing areas along the barge canal or you can simply sit on the beach there's really not a bad spot to view a launch anywhere on the north side of the park.. The boardwalk and pier along the canal is still out of service and under repairs from hurricane Matthew as of 11/19/2016, but climbing up on the rock jetty offers a spectacular view although maneuvering on the rocks can be quite a challenge if you have balancing issues. The sand and water here is absolutely gorgeous and it's very clean, the white powdery sand is very fine and if you're pulling a wagon I'd recommend pneumatic tires unless you're okay with working hard. This park is just one more great reason to live in Florida... read more

Our family has spent a few weeks in Cocoa Beach each year for the past 10 years, and we always make it a point to spend a day at Jetty Park. Unfortunately, it's gotten really expensive just to get into the park so we find ourselves going less. When we do go, we enjoy walking the pier, watching the dolphins and sea turtles, walking on the beach, watching the cruise ships and fishing boats come in and out, and doing a little boogie boarding. One of the nicest beaches I've seen on the Space Coast. Nice wide beaches with clean, soft sand. It looks like the dunes took a hit during last year's Hurricane Irma, but it's still a nice beach. Lifeguard on duty, fishing pier, store with bait, ice, beer, concessions. There are nice showers and clean bathrooms, campgrounds, and a nice playground. Great place to watch the rocket launches or cruise ships come and go. We will be back! read more

Alright.. let me explain... Over the years... the past 15 years or so... I have been to this park many, many times. I used to LOVE Jetty Park. It was only $3 to get in 10 years ago, but naturally the price has raised, to $5, then $8, $10, but now? FIFTEEN FREAKING DOLLARS! Now I live in Orlando and so I am not a Brevard County resident. For them it is only $5. The price jump is just ridiculous to me. They do have an air conditioned facility with a snack bar and restrooms and changing rooms in a seperate building with no air conditioning. I understand that they raised the price because of this big unit they put up. But is it really worth it for us out of towners? Let me get a HELL no. I can go to Ron Jon right by Cocoa and park for FREE. Being handicapped, this does limit me; but I can also go to Lori Wilson Park and park for... FREEEEEEE. They have restrooms and a changing area, water fountains, and showers, just like Jetty Park, minus the air conditioning unit.. building... thing. Oh, and Jetty has a gift shop. Whoopdefreakin'doo. So as you can see... I am NOT impressed with Jetty any longer. I used to love it. It was a great beach to hit up on beach days where I went by myself and it was CHEAP and less crowded than the other beaches. And that's another thing, it's still busy. It's not as bad as some of the other beaches, but it gets packed just like they do. So all in all? Not worth it. Go somewhere else unless you can't take the heat and need to take breaks in the air conditioned unit that no one uses... or just buy an umbrella. read more
