She is personable, funny, professional, and talented. She keeps up to date on hair trends, education, and frequently goes to hair shows. Their salon is clean and well managed. Every person that works there is friendly and happy. You feel amazing walking into their environment and even better walking out. They treat you like family. Second time braiding Started an hour and a half after appt…read moretime so I wasn't too happy with that, but I know that happens often and I'm used to it. I got box braids this time and they looked Fantastic the first week. Lovvvved them. The owner started the braids and then had two other women finishing them so they were done in under two hours! This is how to not be in the chair all day people! Fast forward 7th day and we have major slippage. Most of the braids are a full inch from the scalp now. I'm pretty sure because she wrapped around hair. You can see in pic. I was sure these would last a month or more but 2 weeks in and I don't think I feel confident that some just won't fall out. I've been doing a braid over the top and big buns so you can't see the slipping, although I would prefer her to be able to wear down. If we do go back we'll probably do cornrows again or crochet. I like that her shop is large and kept clean and she's friendly.
