* updated review* Let me tell you about their awesome customer service. We ordered on GrubHub via the Yelp app. Food was delivered very quickly but when we opened up our pizza, we realized we received a New York style instead of Detroit style. I checked the GrubHub order and sure enough I ordered the correct pizza. I reluctantly call GrubHub but I have had so many incorrect delivery orders I really was frustrated. GrubHub made it right and I received a refund in whole for the pizza. Now let's move on to how Jets handled it. When I looked at the printed receipt I noticed the printed receipt stated New York Pizza. That means to me there was a glitch in the GrubHub system and not on the actual restaurant. It bothered me so much I felt like I needed to call the restaurant and let them know so that they aren't losing money. When Trevor (manager) answered the phone, I explained the situation and he even remembered the pizza order. He was so grateful that I let him know of a possible glitch in the GrubHub ordering process. He even offered to make the correct pizza the following evening. I greatly appreciated this and his professionalism. I declined the pizza because even though we received the wrong one, the New York style was very good and it really was no fault to the restaurant. I had Jet's Pizza a few year ago in Michigan at my ex's house. I liked the "Stouffer French Bread style" of it. I figured it was a MI specific chain and forgot about it. Recently while searching yep, I found that they had a branch in Carrolwood. So I tried the lunch special which was 2 deep dish pepperoni slices and a 20 oz soda.I also ordered a full pizza, Jet 10, this weekend.(also Deep dish) I think due to the thick crust, 2 deep dish slices are a very good and cheap meal(not healthy but oh well) FYI: They have a handful of options for lunch special which ends at 3 pm. Sandwich/jetzee, wings/salad and all are in the $5-7 range. Pros: Good customer service The substantial crust is crunchy and chewy but not hard. Their sauce is slightly more robust compared to other chains Good lunch specials with a 20 oz. Most places give only a 12 oz can :) Each slice has a cardboard sleeve which is nice if you want to share a piece with someone or take home for later. Cons: If you're getting multiple pizzas, it can get a bit expensive. My single large deep dish was $19. They dont deliver to my house even though Im 6 miles away :( Their sodas are Pepsi brand , no Coke products Limited seating inside(4 chairs) There are 2 circular metal tables outside with 5-6 chairs outside. I think Jet's is one of the better chain pizza places in Tampa, especially for lunch. read more

Wow, why have we not tried Jets before? So happy! We got the 8-corner, Buffalo chicken. Super delicious. It's not a low-cal pizza by any means but worth it. The delivery was on time, ordered through Uber eats, hot & fresh. We literally order from Jet's Pizza on Uber Eats every single weekend, so I figured it was about time to write a review. Unfortunately we're out of their normal delivery zone even though we're only 6 miles away which is a shame. Firstly, you have to get their deep dish! The pizza is perfectly crispy on the outside but the cheese and toppings are creamy and delicious. Our favorite is the deep dish Buffalo Chicken Pizza though we also like their Chicken Bacon Ranch. We've also tried their wings which were really good. We've had the boneless Honey BBQ and the Sweet Red Chili- the Sweet Red Chili being our favorite. Their Cinnamon Stix are decent, but not the best thing on the menu. Personally, I'd save those calories if I were you. Now, I can't end this review without talking about their ranch- it's out of this world. You can actually order a bottle of their ranch for $3 which is a steal. It's the perfect complement to their pizza and Turbo Sticks. The Turbo Sticks are amazing, if you've ever had Pokey Stix these are basically the same thing. Jet's is a little more expensive than say Domino's or Papa Johns, but their deep dish makes it worth it. We usually have leftovers for days anyways. Give them a try on your next cheat day! read more

Delicious!!! I love this pizza and I'm a total pizza snob. They have so many different kinds so there is something to please everyone. But what really got me was the cauliflower crust pizza. Wow!!! It is simply divine! I ate the entire thing and I loved every minute of it! It is a mix of mozzarella, cauliflower and rice flour (among other things). My five-year-old ate an entire small cheese pizza by himself too. It's just delicious. But more than that, the owners do good in our community. They have donated pizza three times to our local garden. Through those donations I've had the opportunity to try the thick crust, the thin crust and the gluten-free--all of them are just delicious. They have so much more stuff on the menu too. I really would try them out because not only do they serve up delicious pizza but the owners are generous people that support the Tampa Bay community. I ran into the reviews for this place looking for Detroit style pizza because I had a crazing for Pizza Squared only to find out that it closed. Jets has decent pizza. It's not out of this world pizza, but it's a solid choice when you want something better that the popular chains. What's cool is they have a 4.99 deal for 2 Pieces (rectangular good sized pieces) and a drink. Great bang for your buck I think. I got the cheese. They came out in individual rectangular boxes, which I found to be quite conveniently! How often do I go into a place for a slice or 2 and they give you flimsy paper plates. The taste was fine. The crust was tasty and crisp. I'd definitely go back to try another type of pizza, but I can see myself stopping in for that special for lunch! Let me start off by saying that there are many options for pizza --- either the bigger chain places or some other smaller mom & pop places. While we only order from Jet's a few times per year (really only order pizza a few times anyways) we do LOVE us some Jet's. Their pizza is Detroit style so it's square and no crust which I absolutely love since I hate the crust of pizza unless it's flavored or stuffed with cheese. Their dough is fluffy and soft and the ingredients and flavor are just so good. Every pizza is always cooked with perfection. We typically opt for picking up since it's not far from home. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza which comes with barbecue sauce on it. Usually they just put a small dribble so I said could you put a little extra barbecue sauce on it? Well... On July 19th, in the midst of the COVID second wave and a mandatory county mask mandate, I picked up a pizza for dinner and absolutely appalled! Four employees, including the manager, were not wearing masks properly. The manager and 2 other had nose out. The manager was divvying up cash with a driver, and handling money. And the kid handing me my order had the mask over his chin exposing the whole mouth! I see a kid because I could clearly see the peach fuzz mustache he was trying to grow. I'm very disappointed. I absolutely LOVE this pizza. If you don't get the four or eight corner pizza then you're doing it wrong. I first found this pizza company in college and I've not strayed since (I just keep forgetting to check in and wrote reviews when I order it ). The fluffy bread center is contrasted with the crisp,cheesy crust that is created as it bakes. Because the pizza slice is thicker (definitely not a ny style pizza slice) it holds the toppings a bit better and keeps them from sliding. Don't get me wrong, I'm from up north and I love a good NY slice. There's just sighing so comforting about this pizza though and it's always baked to perfection. I've never had an order messed up or arrive cold, or shorted on toppings. I'm telling you, if you're looking for a new pizza place to try, the cheese is cheesy, the sauce is flavorful, and those delicious edges are always crispy.
