Pitza Pizza is a classic, family-owned and operated local pizza joint that our school has used to cater our school events multiple times with exceptional service and success. Last night, with only two days notice, Pitza Pizza delivered us 26 piping hot cheese and pepperoni pizzas to fill our middle schoolers bellies during our Winter Dance. The owner was so easy to speak to and collaborate with prior to the event. I was super pleased with their on-time delivery and the delicious pizza they served. All of the adults and students loved it. Their pizza is of a much higher quality and caliber than Little Caesar's or Hungry Howies. The other companies could not compete with Pitza Pizza's prices for serving so many pizzas for such a large group. Pitza Pizza will be our go-to caterer for any school event where pizza is demanded. I highly recommend them for all large events or even just for a small dinner with your family. Delicious and affordable! read more

This place is truly a hidden gem. Their crust is great, their sauce is great, their toppings are all fresh and delicious. The owners are the nicest people: always talking to the customers and they great me by name even on the phone. We rarely get pizza these days, but when we do. This is the spot. The ONLY place around that has green olives... I'm a weirdo, I know, but I love calzones and I LOVE green olives. Tons of other choices on the menu besides pizza stuff too... def try this place. It's rated high for a reason read more

Do not discount this hidden gem! WOW!! We were staying over by the Tampa airport on our last night of vacation - looking to switch up the cuisine after a week long seafood binge, we decided pizza would be good, and oh my goodness Pitza Pizza did not disappoint. We ordered at the store and got a pizza ring ordered like a supreme pizza adding green olives and a side of tabouli (which I have never had but have been wanting to try - it was 10/10). 20 minute wait which was not bad, there were people in and out the whole time so I felt like that was a sign that people enjoyed the food! The employees were super nice and helpful as well! As far as the food went everything tasted great, the pizza dough was so soft but not too soft that it fell apart, it just had great flavor. The tabouli was also really really good, I ate the entire 14oz container myself! Not from here but if I am ever back in this area I will certainly be making a visit! read more

I had heard great things about the food of this restaurant, however the reviews were wrong! I ordered a Classic Italian and Philly Cheese Steak sandwich to establish a good baseline for future purchases We started with the Philly Cheese and once unwrapped were hit with an overpowering oregano smell...puny amount of meat and barely melted cheese on the 8" roll. The sandwich was warm, dry and relatively tasteless. Overall a 2/10. The Classic Italian didn't fare much better...the cold cuts were of good quality, but scarce, too much oregano and very very dry. Usually oil and vinegar is applied or provided, but in this case neither. The 8" sub was substandard for this type of sandwich. The bread quality on both were reasonable. Overall this sandwich 3/10. Don't get me wrong, the quality of the ingredients were 8+/10 but the execution of the sandwiches were lacking. I was truly hoping to try their cheese pizza but after trying these 2 very traditional sandwiches and spending over $30 delivered, I think I'll pass. Delivery was quick and product was well packed. read more

This shop is located at the back of a plaza of Ehrlich Road. Plenty of parking. One table outside the rest is just counter seats inside. We ordered a pizza ring, which was very good with sausage and onion. My husband and I have eaten two meals from the pizza ring and there's a third waiting for us in the refrigerator. Obviously a large pizza ring. Also ordered theCaterina calzone, which was a delicious cheesy calzone with red, roasted peppers and onions inside. Got a beef Shawarma delicious made on the lavash bread a little heartier than most because it's a Lebanese dish. also ordered the folded cheese bread with zaatar. All the food was fresh, hot and very delicious. We sat outside the beautiful cool night. The owner came out. He was pleased to see us, thanked us for visiting his restaurant. Wonderful food, friendly people priced, right. read more

Saw good reviews so we decided to give a try- so glad we did. Young man at the register was very nice- quickly put in our order. We sat outside while waiting for our pizza- he was so kind to bring it out to us and quickly offered plates & napkins. We had a supreme pizza- ingredients taste sooo fresh and their pizza sauce has great flavor- I'm guessing it's made in-house. We tried their buffalo one if the best we've tried. read more

My new favorite pizza place in the Carrollwood area. Not only is the pizza great, but the Owner is awesome! My boss actually discovered this place, so when we needed pizza & salad for an office lunch, he recommended we try here. I placed our order online, but for some reason, the order page would not accept one of the pizzas I was trying to add to my cart. No biggie, after I ordered I just called the store to see if he could change it. "No problem!" from the Owner. Also, he wondered if I would like our salad chopped - yes please! And with feta? Also yes! The pizzas and salad were ready on time, and the Owner carried all four pizzas out to my car. I couldn't wait to get back to the office and dig in. The Godfather pizza was probably my favorite - the meats on it were delicious. And I really liked the Mediterranean pizza, which I got with a thin crust. Finally, the party-sized salad was fresh and perfect. All in all, a great meal which left everyone in my office fat, happy, and in need of a nap. read more

The pizza is super good, the pizza rings are amazing, the food is always fresh, the people there are incredibly nice. The chef salads are great!! You get a huge salad and there are a LOT of meats. If you're on keto you def could make this salad work for you!! I highly approve. We order take out nearly every Friday from here. read more

I'm writing this review before we pick up our food because the manager of this place has to be the coolest guy ever! We were starved looking for a place to eat on the way home from the beach so we thought we'd give this place a shot. It turned out the place was closed when we called but he said he would still go ahead and make the pizza for us. Typically I would thank him and wait for another day, but maybe they need the business during COVID. As for our complicated order, not only was he willing to combine the sauces from different style pizzas (meatlovers and buffalo chicken) but then he was also willing to try working his magic on our request of thin stuffed crust. AND upon hearing it was our first experience with them, he allowed our extra pineapple topping free! Is this guy real? Forget five stars, give him ten before we even take the first bite! To make matters worse on our end we did not even arrive until 10pm (10 minutes after our order was ready) because we got stuck behind a car crash on the bridge. It takes a lot to embarrass me but I was feeling pretty bad, we're pretty much monster customers at this point, but throughout the entire process this guy was more calming than a yoga teacher. Helpful, patient, accommodating, personable, kind, this guy is an angel. I can't thank you enough sir! When we finally made it, he didn't want to preoccupy with any apologies, but rather he was excited to show me his delicious looking one-of-a-kind pizza ring and the Lebanese pizza. I will be sure to swing by to try these out along with the $5.99 Philly cheesesteak next time I'm in Tampa. As for the food, you know when something is so good your posture slumps over on you? Both the pizza and the garlic Parmesan wings, ahhhhmazing. After the first bite, like I said 10 out of 5 stars. Thank you Nassif. You're a true artist and you're business deserves every good thing that is bound to come your way. read more

Why 4 stars? Because this is another solid pizza option in Carollwood. --- --- --- There are no shortages when it comes to pizzerias in Carrollwood. Most of them fit into the same category, in my opinion - enjoyable and a better option than the big chains. Pitza Pizza matches that description. We ordered a large supreme and pizza rolls. I thought the pizza rolls were fairly unique - they were like a crescent roll with pizza dough and pizza stuffing. The pizza itself was enjoyable, but I came away thinking the pizza rolls were the better part of the meal. My wife felt the exact opposite, but both of us were satisfied. I'm not sure what was in this spot before, but I'd never heard of Pitza Pizza before I found it earlier today on Yelp and I'm glad we decided to try them out for dinner. read more

As a transplanted New Yorker, pizza is not only one of my favorite foods, it's something I know a lot about. Pitza Pizza just does everything right. The crust is chewy, but with a crisp bottom. The sauce is an excellent marinara, not too sweet and not too acidic. The other toppings are fresh and generous. I have never had a bad pie here. I also really like the owners, who are always there to ensure quality and thank you for your patronage. I encourage my fellow yelpers to support this family owned, local, small business. read more

Happy to give this friendly establishment a refreshing new review by giving them a second chance. The owner listened and even called to ask for my suggestions. Now, listening and being proactive about what a customers expectation for quality food and service should be in my book highly comended. They have made me a returning customer to this establishment as I am at several of the local establishments. 1st and foremost the Meat Lovers pizza my husband received was delectable and full of meat and as we asked for cheese on top so all the delicious meat stayed well within biting range and not towards the plate the message was received and taken into consideration. 2nd The personal cheese pizza for my son and BBQ pizza for my son was mouthwatering tgat tgey had too have more than two slices the amount of sauce and cheese is exactly what a pizza should have! 3rd Ordered the Chicken Parmigian sub was one of the best subs I have had in a long time. Publix has nothing on yhis Chicken Parm. so get it now! I can still taste the marinara sauce topped with plentiful mozzarella and even parmeasan cheese making it taste out of this world. When we order again I will be ordering this sub! Def. try it! 4th The Mild wings and Parmeasan wings were delicious its football season and who doesnt eat wings without pizza. Try them both as they will fall off of the bone with flavor We cant wait to try out different wings, subs, and pizzas next time! My wishes for their success and putting the customer 1st. read more
