I'm going to be honest, born and raised in NY I don't usually eat franchise pizza. Today our office was treated to a pizza lunch for being the top performing office for enlisting people to Donate Life by becoming organ donors. Jets Pizza was delivered and quite yummy.. It was hot, not too saucy, deep dish. The salad was delicious and served with your choice of ranch or ceasar dressing. Tomatoes were fresh and delicious. The cheesy bread was nice and fresh with marinara dipping sauce. The dessert pizza was cinnamon glazed. Overall nice lunch for our hard working employees ! read more

Yes, a review for chain-pizza, but for a good reason... Jet's 8-corner, pepperoni pizza with turbo crust is really a unique pizza beyond compare! (For those older Yelpers...) Pizza Hut has totally changed since, but if you were a fan of PH's decadent pan pizza during the 70-80's? This particular Jet's offering will be a bit like a pizza-flashback in your mouth. They call it "Detroit-style" here. It has a thick crust and is very cheesy, with cheese pushed all the way to pan edges, so it TRANSFORMS in the oven and gets totally crispy! Decadent and glorious... I have a big appetite and have never dared to eat more than 2 pieces in one sitting. That is the whole draw here for me. I once made the mistake by ordering a "normal" round pizza here and was left totally disappointed. Avoid those... Oh, but that 8-corner delight! Even that LC pizza chain has recently tried to borrow/steal Jet's idea and duplicate it, but fails miserably. $16 for just one take-out Jet's pizza is pricey, but well worth a first try or the occasional indulgence. You just may get hooked. Want a supreme or other "loaded" 8-corner pizza? Expect to pay almost $24, which is ridiculous! Charging $8 more for additional toppings is silly and is very likely hurting Jet's business model. They really should rethink this. It's a huge bummer. But here, we do thank you JET'S for the retro-pepperoni-pan-pizza-FUN ! This joint is real deal. I go here for deep dish pizza. It's out of this world! The chili boneless wings are crazy good. I also love they offer salads. I'm not a fan of their regular pizza...but who cares when they have a slamming pepperoni and a spot on Alphonso BBQ with chicken!!! read more

3/31/20 Ordered around 8:10 pm So this unpleasant experience started with the way I ordered my pizzas. I tried to "text my order" since I was suppose to get 20% off. However each time I sent my order through text messages, the orders were wrong everytime they text it back for me to review. I tried to send it three times and they were all wrong each time they sent it back for me to review. So I got frustrated and I ended up calling to order. So a woman answered and I explained her the situation. They even honored the 20% discount. Then a second obstacle in this order occured. The price. On the text messages, they were replying back $47.99. However, once the woman calculated my final amount it became $53 and some change. So I asked why it was different. Manager then spoke to me and I explained the situation. He explained that the prices were different due to the orders that were texted back to me for me to review were wrong. So I believed him because it made sense. So he tried to fix the issue by giving me a discount which I appreciated. He then stated that it will be ready in 20 mins. I have told them to take their time because I am 40 mins away. 45 mins later I arrived and received my pizza. Then the last issue and really what pushed me to write this review was they made the order wrong. They have put the wrong sauce. A topping would have been ok but the sauce is the base of the taste of the pizza. Noted that this is my first time ordering from Jets pizza. I was hearing good things about Jets Pizza. I have no idea how Jets could only be at 2.5 stars! I moved from Fishers IN to Lutz FL over 2 yrs ago. Jets had just opened in Fishers and I loved them there. I just had jets today for second times it past few months and just as good in Pam Harbor. Deep dish eight corners. It is the best pizza around. I am just very sad they are not nearer Lutz because I don't make it to Palm Harbor frequently enough. I grew up in Parkersburg WV with the best Sicilian deep dish anywhere. Jets is the second best! I was told that Jets was the best in Palm Harbor. So I ordered a takeout Hand Tossed pie with my fave ingredients: Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, and Banana Peppers on all of it with Black Olives on top of half and Pineapple on the other. It is my standard for taste testing. After hitting it, I was content but decided I would need another taste. Yesterday, I ordered the same except delivered. They told me 30-45 minutes. They lied. It was at my door within 20 min. :) The only problem is when I put it on a stone to keep it warm in the oven, it started to sweat grease. I grabbed a slice and picked up a lone piece of sausage off the stone and tasted it. Whaaaa! Where was the flavor? They must have forgotten to send it in the truck 'cause it sure wasn't in that lil piece or the scarcely laden pie. I'm glad I tried this second pie....'cause it is my last one. Out! read more

Not a good experience at all. First I asked for water, and all they had to offer was bottled, no glass of plain ole tap water. Second, I asked for a restroom, and was told there was no public one. I'm pretty sure it is a Florida law to provide one. But, being in a hurry, went ahead and ordered a pizza. It was grocery store quality at best. read more

I'm a sucker for pan pizza, especially delivery. The pizza is decent for the price. Delivery time and service is good. The veggie toppings are good but they are a little stingy on the meat toppings. Overall though, I think the taste is better than the national chains - wrote this without knowing it is national. I never heard of it until I moved to Palm Harbor FL lol! I've long been curious about Jets Pizza. Well...you know what they say about curiosity killing the cat! This was garden variety, run of the mill chain pizza. I had the eight corner pizza with sausage, extra sauce, and Parmesan crust. The pizza lacked sauce (still!), had salty sausage, and I could not discern any type of flavored crust. For $17 (after delivery) I could have easily had much, much better 'za! Skip it!! read more

Every time I want a good pizza, I go here. I have even worked at the Pizza Hut across the street and still went to this place more. Their deep dish pizza is to die for! Every time a friend comes over to my place and we want to et pizza, I always ordered here. Their cheese is heavenly and their garlic crust seasoning is super good. Ordered a pizza 2 of them and they said 30-40 minutes however 10 min later my pizza's arrive. I commented my god that was fast I should have known that it wasn't going to be right. I just moved to town and I tried their pizza the other night based on the review and flyer left on my apartment door. I was so glad that I did. The pizza was awesome and the delivery was able to find the place despite my terrible directions (since I am still new to the area) The apartment complex was having construction being done and part of the parking lot was blocked off. Ordered an ex-large pizza to share with visiting family. A new employee took my order. There is a learning curve and the pizza was not the kind I ordered. But when I spoke to the manager, he not only made another pizza immediately, he gave me the first order for free. I was able to feed my family for 2 days. This was service above and beyond. I ordered wings the next week, and they were the best I have ever had. Tried Jets to support the local school. Ordered and was charged for two large round, hand tossed pizzas. They were very small for ordering the large size. They came in a 14x14" box. Menu said a large is 10 pieces but doesn't list the measurements for each size. Cutting more slices doesn't make it a large. The pizza tasted good but the size was not right for the price. I received a flyer on my home door knob. Thought to myself, "never tried it, why not". The flyer had two coupons on the front and one on the back. No where on the flyer did it say "coupon can not be combined with any other coupon or discount" as we ALL EXPECT. So I proceeded to call in an order for a large pizza for $8.99 and receive free bread when you purchase one large Pizza. Simple enough. Well when I was told the price was $15+ I proceeded to say that's not what the flyer says. So the clerk said I would have to talk to the manager. Well I thought sure, they should know their flyer doesn't have the verbiage on it that it should have. The manager came on to the phone and started arguing with me that just because the verbiage isn't on the coupon doesn't mean they have to honor what I ordered. He then said to me....mind you I'm a new potential customer......"Do you want me to give you the keys to my resturant too?" I was so dumbstruck, I said "FU" and hung the phone up. The next day, I called their corporate office as all the Jet's are independently owned, and they said they would have the owner get back with me. Needless to say I guess either Corporate or the Owner didn't care......I believe in the power of social media........so as I'm reading other reviews on here, I see why the owner didn't call back. Jets pizza is really good. Wish it was not so good, because ordering from this location is annoying. On 3 different occasions, they called us back and told us we are out of delivery range, though they delivered to us on many other occasions and we have had no problem at all. Always the same story -- they take our order and 10 min later call back and driver is saying we are out of range. First time it happened about 6 months ago, employee on the phone was completely dismissive, wouldn't read back the address her driver had, and actually said they didn't deliver to east lake woodlands . We were certain she was wrong, but we dropped everything and had to drive to pick the pizza up and were met by a very apologetic manager who said,of course we deliver to east lake woodlands! So sorry! Annoying, but at least apologized. Happened again about 2 mos later and my nervous senior dad just drove to get it and nobody apologized. He got all nervous about ordering Jets on his own after that, because he was afraid they would refuse to deliver. We had it delivered 2-3 more times over last several months, no problem, and then happened again tonight. This time the manager was not so nice - very short with me, never once apologized or took ownership that this is their recurring problem, all the onus was put on me to prove the address is actually in east lake woodlands -- he said " IF you actually live in east lake woodlands, we will deliver there" -- well of course we know where we live! Who knows what they were doing wrong -- probably putting in palm harbor as the city instead of oldsmar - and he wanted to blame their new computer system, even though this just keeps happening, and we will just have to see if it happens again I guess -- but even if it is the new computer (this time), just say you're sorry, manager! Customer service is a big part of your job, right? A good, regular customer is telling you this keeps happening, and you should say, I'm so sorry! Let's figure this out! What's your zip code? Don't immediately get defensive and snippy and frustrated with me for telling you this is a recurrent issue and act like we're trying to pull one over on you! I'm frustrated, because this keeps happening! Why are you so frustrated? What did I do to you other than try to give $ to the place that gives you a paycheck? Now, we are going to insist on giving you our full address with zip, every time we call -- and I'm sure your employees will act frustrated by this and say it's in the computer -- but I am going to give the whole address every time no matter how annoyed you are, because it beats the alternative of getting called back and told we are out of area, 10 min after we ordered, when we are hoping the pizza was already out of the oven and heading our way! And for someone like my dad, this happens once and you lose him forever --no 70 year old guy trying to watch a game is going to order from a place that is going to call him and tell him he has to come get his pizza instead of have it delivered. 2 stars is for the really delicious 4 star plus pizza, with points taken off for customer service because they don't have a system in place to learn from their past mistakes. read more
