We tried Jet's Pizza on 6/26 and ordered the thin-crust pepperoni and grilled chicken pizzas. They were so delicious that we ordered it again for dinner on Sunday, 6/28, so our extended family could try it too! Every pizza was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. To top it off, the owner surprised us with a complimentary deep-dish pizza--their signature style. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a great introduction to what they're known for. I'm sorry to have to give this review but it is what it is. My husband and l tried them out. What was so disappointing was: very little flavor. Even the Pepperoni was weak which is a first. While the crust was crunchy as advertised, that was the only decent thing. The sauce was too acidic with no flavor to speak of. While the cheese was genuine in appearance, it too was weak in a good mozzarella taste. We both agreed while eating the first slice that Little Caesars has much better taste. We don't eat that pizza brand anymore but remember how it tastes. If you aren't picky and don't care if your pizza is on the bland side you may be ok with it. We going forward will stick to our normal pizza place we love. Out of fairness to Jets l won't name it here. Everyone loves pizza but truly we won't finish this one which is unheard of. l won't waste the calories on a tasteless pizza. We love this Pizza so I hate to given them a bad review, HOWEVER, we purchased a pizza and gave some to the construction workers and everyone who ate the pizza got sick. I was told by the doctor it was Norovirus which is caused by food handlers not washing their hands after using the bathroom. So GROSS! So while the pizza still tastes good, the people making the pizza are nasty. Depending on what type of pizza you like.. will determine whether you like this place or not. I really enjoy Landini's pizza so you can gauge my opinion on that. Ordered to go for a mini house party and the pizza did not disappoint! Service was quick and the ambiance of the place was pretty lively. Meat pizza 9/10: all you can ever ask for in a meat pizza. It was stacked and they were n super generous with the amount of meat they gave. A bit on the saltier side but that probably came from the bacon. Veggie pizza: I didn't try this personally since I prefer the meat but my friends all enjoyed it as well! Supreme 7/10: your basic supreme pizza. I did wish it came with mushrooms though. I have accidentally ordered from this location twice from Uber eats. I thought I was ordering the one closer to my house, but for whatever reason it automatically had me ordering from this one the Pizza was put in at 8:07 tonight. I did not receive my order until 9:31pm. So I would not order Uber eats from this place because they cannot keep their pizzas warm once they're delivered and I feel like if you're going to use a food courier service then it's your responsibility to make sure that your food arrives hot. If it's too far then there should be some kind of limitation of how far you're willing to have pizzas delivered. I spent a lot of money on a pizza. I was really looking forward to. I love Detroit style pizza and I've tried different versions of it all across the states and in a few different countries... but Then I finally tried the original. Jet's is now a huge chain with locations all across the country and we now have one in Henderson. It's a small little shop meant mostly for take out but there is a small counter area with a few stools if you choose to eat it there. I placed my order at the counter and it was ready about fifteen minutes later. It had a nice crispy crust all around and lots of gooey cheese. The sauce was underneath the cheese on this one where most places put it on top.. it was also a little sweet for my liking but that's the way all the chain pizza shops sauce is. I might not stream them regularly, but I'm glad that they've arrived here. Jet's Pizza is a chain from Michigan that opened this first Nevada outpost near Sunset Station at the tail end of 2022. Specializing in Detroit-style pizzas since 1978, they definitely were a welcome sight for a Henderson resident who was missing their favorite pizza bus after it relocated out of state last year. I finally decided to go because I caught a whiff of a sale which they advertised on Instagram for today only. I placed my order before going and confirmed that the subtotal was discounted from $14.59 to $2.99. It was a promo for a small or 4-corner pizza, and I made sure to pick the 4-corner because I'm pretty sure that the "small" one would be a boring round pizza instead of the rectangular shape of the Detroit-style+. I showed up at roughly the estimated 20 min pickup time, and the pizza was ready and waiting in the warmer. The dough is the star. It's chewy and airy, and it'd be tough to improve on it. The complimentary butter and garlic add-ons to the crust were pretty tasty. The mozzarella is gooey and has a slight chew. The tomato sauce is balanced and doesn't feel too acidic or sweet. For my one topping, I chose bold pepperoni, which as Yelper Scott R. mentioned is the one that should curl into a cup with crispy edges. They succeeded with this effect in most of the 20 pepperoni pieces. I'm not rating this a 5 for two reasons. First, the cheese crust is a bit lacking compared to my ideal. It isn't substantial enough and doesn't consistently have the brown crispiness since they don't pile enough cheese or spread it thoroughly enough. Second, they have an uncomfortably small seating area. They offer more of a ledge than a counter, with only 5 or 6 seats, and the entire publicly accessible interior is pretty narrow. With people showing up to order discounted pizzas and wait, it felt cramped. Jet's Pizza is a great addition to Henderson that ticks most of the boxes and should satisfy your craving for Detroit-style pizza. That said, I would caution people who live across town from trying to go at peak times though. Yes, pizzerias are often to-go or dine-in, but you're at risk here of either a suboptimal dine-in situation or a not-so-hot pizza after your drive home. read more
