Being a Mosaic on Jetblue comes with a few perks, like free drinks and the ability to upgrade to their more comfortable seats with more space. They recently changed their upgrade policy to 36 hours vs the previous 24 hours. They are a reliable airline that never feels like a low cost option. Nice flight attendants and good snack selection.
We got there very early because we were unaware of the traffic. The traffic we encountered landing into Ft. Lauderdale Airport was short of a nightmare. We could not check our luggage because of the time we arrived to the airport. They kind young lady informed us at the ticket counter that we cannot check out baggage until four hours before our flight. Our flight was scheduled to depart at 3:50 so we came back to the counter and there was a different employee who dislikes his job now at the counter. He was rude and curt. I refused to let this short man disrupt my day. We went over to the self-check-in, and the men who took our luggage were extremely polite and helpful.
CAPTIONS LOG May 23rd 2026 Frank flew back to Boston on JetBlu from Ft Lauderdale today. WTF people first off $138 for 2 bags to be checked in was grand larceny and TRUMP should have his MAGA goons look into this scam practice. However once I paid the fee it was smooth sailing onto the plane. Once boarded I was served a Cup of DUNK cause now I guess JetBlue flys on Dunkin'... Seriously was disappointed I was not flying on CELTICS jet to Boston, I mean where else would it be flying and it was just sitting on there.. Got a TV, wifi and goodies plus a seat. What more could a person want on a short flight? Well maybe a certificate to THE MILE HIGH CLUB but that's wishful thinking and people would be upset anyways. Thanks JB for flying me to Boston! PS I want my $138 back !
Last-minute trip! I booked my flights on Sunday and caught a 6:30 AM flight to LaGuardia. Online booking was so easy, and with all the recent TSA delays, JetBlue really stayed on top of things with early gate updates and notifications. They switched my gate from Terminal 3 to Terminal 4, which ended up being a huge win. TSA PreCheck was basically empty. The terminal was still busy, but nowhere near as hectic as Terminal 3. Flight left right on time. I even volunteered to gate check my bag... so fingers crossed it makes it to NY
Jet Blue, Fort Lauderdale, FL. Dec, 2025. My husband and I were returning home from vacation, flying on JetBlue from Phoenix, AZ to Richmond, VA, with a stop in Fort Lauderdale (FLL). It wasn't the best schedule, with a red eye out of Phoenix and then a few hours waiting time in FLL. (See my separate review of the FLL airport which was crazy loud). This review is specifically about our excellent flight experience on JetBlue between FLL and RIC. Our flight left on time, and actually landed 20 minutes early. The seats were large with a comfortable amount of leg room, even for my tall husband. There were good free entertainment options, with the screen being in the seat back. JetBlue also offers free WiFi. Baggage was also easy. We were allowed one free carry-on, plus a personal item. Back in Phoenix, we volunteered to check-in our carry-ons, for free, and the bags reached RIC without incident. The best part about this flight though was the cabin crew who were absolutely EXCEPTIONAL. It started with greetings from a hostess in a Santa cap, in blue, of course. Later, another flight attendant cheerfully brought a coffee for my husband after he buzzed, even though he had just finished the drink service. (My husband had fallen asleep). I was apologetic to the flight attendant, mentioning that we had been on a red eye. He asked follow-up questions, seeming genuinely interested in where we had boarded and how long our lay-over was in FLL. And, then there was the flight attendant who made announcements, with a good degree of humor. "We're coming in 20 minutes early. If we're 20 minutes late on the next one, then we'll be even." I didn't get any of their names, but upon exiting, I asked where they're based and she said that they're based in Orlando.
JetBlue always has my back! From last min booking, to booking in advance I always did I get really great deals for flights. I love that they still offer their customers a free first back and personal item onboard. With the prices for flights and bags these days with other carriers, every little bit counts, and I love that JB offers it for free. I've never had any major issues with this airline, I've experienced some minor delays here and there, most times it's been weather related, safety first always, so it didn't bother me.
Jet Blue offers one of the most comfortable cabins in the business plus you get free WiFi and screens. In the past there were some issues with timeliness but these days it was become much more reliable. Also you get snacks and a soda for free.
You'll forget it the second you board -- and that's kind of the point. It's the JetBlue Terminal. It does exactly what it's supposed to do -- get you from curb to gate without too much chaos, and most days that's enough. Nothing fancy, nothing tragic. The security lines move mostly fast, the gates are clean, and the coffee is overpriced (because it's still an airport). The food options are fine, the seating's okay, and the announcements are loud enough to make sure you never nap too long. It's not glamorous, but it's functional -- a terminal that exists purely to move people and their luggage efficiently. It's not an experience; it's an obligation. The JetBlue Terminal at Fort Lauderdale isn't trying to be memorable -- and honestly, that's its best quality. It does what it's supposed to do: get you where you're going, no drama included.
Mixed feelings after my recent flights between Fort Lauderdale and San Francisco. There are definite perks like every seat has a personal screen with live TV and movies. They also offer free Wi-Fi, which sounds great, but both ways it barely worked. I could sometimes get a connection on my phone, but not at all on my laptop. For a 6+ hour flight where I had planned to work, it really threw me off and now I'm losing my Friday off because I couldn't get my work done in the air. Also, the turbulence on my way out was terrifying. The plane suddenly dropped and tilted, a flight attendant literally went flying, and everyone looked shaken. We were cruising in clear skies, so it was completely out of the blue. The pilot came on five minutes later and casually said ATC had us veer to avoid another aircraft. Why would you say that out loud? He really needs to work on the narrative.
Mind as well call them spirit airlines with all the delays. Been delayed for 5 hours and no answers on when we are leaving. Attitudes and all they do is give you a free water bottle. A 4oz water bottle that is. Let's not forget that I paid for bags when I bought my tickets to get here and get told it didn't go through. How does the tickets get paid for and not the bags? Update: flight got cancelled after waiting all day. Now they don't know where my bag is. Smh

Comfortable, Easy Flights - JetBlue Did It Right! Took JetBlue for a recent round-trip between Fort Lauderdale and Albany, and overall, it was a great experience! Our flight to Albany was delayed about an hour due to a maintenance issue -- which is never ideal -- but I appreciated the transparency and safety-first approach. Once we were in the air, everything was smooth sailing. The seats were very comfortable, and the flight attendants were super friendly and attentive. On the return flight from Albany (a 7 AM departure), everything went off without a hitch. Boarding was easy, we left on time, and my bags arrived safe and sound in Fort Lauderdale. Big win! I also really appreciated the seat-back screens -- I was able to kick back and watch some shows without any hassle, which made the flight go by quickly. All in all, a solid and stress-free experience with JetBlue. Will definitely fly with them again! read more

The staff are generally rude. The terms "Sir" or "Please" are not in their vocabulary. Coming from Los Angeles to Forth Lauderdale, I was sandwiched like sardine can on seat 22E. So on the way back, I thought I ask the lady before boarding to see if there is a First Class seat available. Lucky me, there was one available. So I asked for an "Upgrade ". We all have heard of upgrades. Apparently, she had not. And rudely told me that I have to buy a new ticket at $640.00. I asked, how about the ticket that I have dies it have any value? She said very roughly that my ticket is worth nothing. I understand that they deal with a ton of people, but, to have an attitude at 10:30 am doesn't make sense. I wonder what she will do at end of her shift. read more

Jet Blue has a manageable terminal at this airport. Meaning it's not so big that you have to walk forever to your gate. And it's a bit older and outdated like the rest of FLL. But it's kept clean with many forms of cleaners both manned or unmanned. They even move the recycling bins off from the side to clean near their stations overnight. They are working on renovations. read more
Jet blue is honestly so much better than many of the other airlines! We got really cheap nonstop tickets for my sisters wedding. I love how much wider the seats are with better leg room! My only complaint is that I'm 6months pregnant carrying an 18months old and 2 bags and I asked for help putting my bag up and she told me she wouldn't help me. If you can't help a disabled or pregnant woman then you shouldn't be working as a flight attendent read more

My favorite airline. Staff and pilots make me feel safe, and it's the only airline I fly on now. Cute planes with cool names and designs, movies, and snacks...what's not to like, seriously? I really recommend this airline. You get to save money with points if you sign up too, and the seats have extra legroom. Love the cabin and everything about JetBlue!! :D read more

I LOVE JetBlue!!! I refuse to fly with any other airline. JetBlue has so much more space than other airlines I've flown with. "Extra Spaxe" on other airlines is JetBlue's regular coach space. But JetBlue's Extra Space is extremely spacious, even for someone over 6 feet tall. Every seat has their own television where you get numerous free movies, DIRECTV, Peacock Originals, Sirius XM, games and real time flight status. For someone like me who has the attention span of a fly, this is perfect..lol!! They also give you access to their unlimited snacks on board. They keep them stored in their "pantry" in the middle and rear of the plane in which you're free to grab any snack of your choice whenever you desire. And let's not even talk about first class on some of their planes. They're like mini bedroom cubicles. There's no better airline to me. They'll forever have my business. read more

come face to face with hospitality and good service; in this days; it is difficult to obtain it. But I had the satisfaction of having it twice on Jetblue, first by phone; with Steven, attentive and courteous; then with Patrícia, the champion in energy and good service. This Argentinian woman goes the extra mile in customer service and hospitality; listening to her clients; I work in the hospitality industry; for the last 15 years and it fills me with pride that an airline like Jetblue has trained its staff in L.A.S.T Listen; Apologize; Solve; Thank you. Steve and Patrícia, what a good job; Latin pride Patricia with her manager Pedro; at the Fort Lauderdale airport. She is without a doubt the best costumer service I have seen in years; positive attitude, clear energy. read more

The staff at the gate in Fort Lauderdale need to be more sympathetic to people with disabilities. Today I was in a different boarding group than my wife and the JetBlue employee at the gate scanning boarding passes refused to allow me to go with my wife to help her with putting her carry-on bag up above in the overhead bin. I clearly told him she had a disability and he didn't care and told me to wait for my own boarding group. I have never had an airline say something like this to me. Shocking how insensitive he was to our needs related to a disability. read more

We flew with JetBlue from Ft Lauderdale to Ronald Reagan in Washington DC, with a group of 33 - 5th graders (Safety Patrols). We had the end tail of the plane with 75% of our students flying for the first time in their lives. JetBlue and their wonderful staff were so sweet, blind and patient with our kiddos. They provided snacks, earbuds, answered a crazy amount of questions and we're just amazing it's our crew. The absolute best!! read more

Terminal clean, when I boarded the plane they had a team member that helped all the ladies with lifting there bags up for storage. What a welcomed feeling. Half the battle is lifting the bag over your head as we know. Make sure to bring the plug that looks like this for your ear plugs for music, movie or a show. Check my photo for the right plug. I don't know the name of it. Plenty of leg room as you can see in my other photo. I would recommend group A. To me it's worth the extra to not be stressed on whether your bag will make it to the overhead bin near your seat and the mad rush. If you are towards the front and on the aisle watch out for customers going by with large book bags that wack you in the head. They all are oblivious to this. I know first hand. There is WiFi on the plane. If you are or will be traveling.... Safe travels! read more
