The driver left us stranded at the bottom and we watched him come and go. So we paid $20 for an Uber. The driver was 29 minutes late to Saratoga Inn. It was muggy so we sat by the window in the lobby looking out the entire time. We were outside at the advertised pick up time 5:45 pm. The moment we saw the limo bus, which was hella late, we walked to the already open lobby doors and the driver literally didn't stop. He swung around, slowed down for 1/2 second and sped off! Humiliated and embarrased, we RAN after the bus yelling and waving our arms. We had official AXS Mountain Winery shuttle bus tickets! That means Urban Worldwide had our names and knew we needed picking up! Mind you we briefed the desk clerk and two hotel workers that we are on the limo bus and that we need to get on it. At the top of the mountain, we had our Uber driver drop us off to Urban Worldwide shuttle and the driver said he was there earlier which was untrue. He also showed us a text message that he thought was "proof" that we weren't there. This ruined part of the night. We were at the Inn at 5:30 PM ready to jump on the bus. It was creepy weird that we saw him drive up and drive off: It was like he purposely planned to abandon us. We asked him if he could please wait for us after the venue. We were literally at his mercy. He says, "You have 15 minutes!" Not polite. By the way, the website says we have 20 minutes to get on the shuttle. Anyway, afterward, I twisted my ankle and the driver did in fact wait and got us back to the Inn just fine. He didn't acknowledge wrong doing. I've rented a lot of limos and gotten a lot of rideshares. I've never experienced a driver who literally purposefully left us like that. The Saratoga Inn workers were witnesses and we discussed the situation with them. They washed their hands of it saying, "We have NOTHING to do with that limo bus. No connection." Urban Worldwide gets one star for the driver being totally cool on the way down. I don't know if I even want my money back for leaving us stranded during pick up: The company scares me and creeps me out.

I was driving to work one day when this asshole in a black car cuts me off just so that he can jockey 3 car lengths up into a line of cars waiting for the red light to change. Not an entirely uncommon experience, but when I split lanes on my motorcycle (riding between cars) and drifted past his window, he had a big dumb ass smile on his face aimed in my direction like he was proud of himself for putting me in the way of danger. He also made an offhand comment that I did not happen to hear, but I assertained immediately that it was nothing nice. You know, behavior that is commiserate of a complete prick. Well, I hit him off the F-word and a middle digit in reply and continued up the center lane. Well, my fur was rubbed the wrong way to say the least, and I was a bit shaken from the close call. So I made it a couple of blocks up and pulled off to the right and waited for him to pass. I am pretty handy with the cell phone camera even while I am riding you see, so I got the equiptment ready. This was going to be a much easier way of doing things than trying to locate a pen for his licence plate number. I followed his ass all the way down California Street, from Fillmore Street to down to the Hyatt Regency at the Embarcadero. A game of cat and mouse ensued for the duration. I don't normally engage in road rage behavior, but I was really mad that someone could be so flip about someone's personal safety, and find it funny that he had put me in the way of harm. There were several points in the game where you could tell that he was confident that he could get away from me, executing quick lane switches and subsequent acceleration that would only land him behind another line of cars. When are car drivers going to learn that you can't get away from a bike in gridlocked traffic? If he managed to get any distance at all away from me, I would close that gap by riding in between cars. He ran around and around a few blocks downtown trying to get away from me with no success. I had him stopped at a light and I pulled out my phone to get a snap of his plate, and the fuckin meathead security guard lookin' goon burst out of his car like a caged animal and yelled "what are you doin'?" and threw a piece of paper wadded up into a ball at me. I think it bounced off my helmet. He then pulled into the Hyatt in the recognition of defeat and ran up to one of the bell boys to stand next to him for backup. I pulled up on the sidewalk and hurled insults for a full minute, and you can believe that there were many heads turned to see what the commotion was all about. After I got done calling him out in front of his peers, I phoned in a complaint, using the data off of the picture to identify him to the dispatcher. The dispatcher was in disbelief about the whole affair and took down my information. He promised that he would hand this over to human resources, and affirmed that 'someone would call me back' for resolution to the whole matter. Well folks, Grand Limousine never called me back to set this unfortunate occurrence straight. The fact that they promised to, but never returned my call is indicative of the character of this business. That they never returned my call says a lot of things about the company, none of them good.
