I got my car tinted here recently and didn't realize until the next day that I mistakenly got tint that was pretty dark on my front side windows. I didn't realize it was not legal and called to express my concern. Sam was extremely helpful and allowed me to come back the next day to replace the front side windows with a lighter tint. The tint job was done extremely well both times and my car looks really cool. I got the $199 package for all seven windows, including the side back small windows that are counted as individual windows. read more

Totally disappointed with this company. Called to have work done on 3 October 2026, for a car I thought I w getting but the deal fell through. I cancelled a week ahead of the appointment so they,"SAID," they ($1785.00) refunded me 3-5 business days. On 3 October the day I was supposed to get the cancelled service to see where my refund was, Rayna looked and stated it was in,"Pending," so she changed it to refund and said 3-5 business days again. Here is is two weeks after and I called again then they tried to say I was refunded when I mentioned legal action. They were confident that they had,"refunded," me but i assured them looking at my account live on the app (mind you it's a credit card not a debit), then the lady on the phone said ok it has been refunded and I asked what date do you have for it being refunded? She could not tell me and told me she would call me back within an hour. I work for the state of California and I happen to know people at Consumer Affairs agency and a few lawyers a the better business bureau. Made an appointment at 10am. Arrived at the shop before 10, checked in with the guy and after all that he told me car won't be done until 5pm. What's the point of making an appointment? They also damaged my rear passenger door panel and had to get that fixed out of pocket. The tint also weren't installed properly, had to redo it with different shop. Wouldn't recommend getting your car tinted here! read more

I originally purchased a 4th of July special pricing but after speaking with Sam, he showed me the difference tint can make in keeping the inside a cooler temperature. I upgraded to the Ceramic Galaxy Tint and was not disappointed at all. My car is not a hot box like previous cars I've owned. I highly recommend Ceramic Galaxy Tint. It's an investment! Came with Lifetime Warranty. I had a small bubble on my driver's side. I took it back to the shop and Sam fixed it with no hesitation! A 1 service! I would recommend this business to anyone. read more

I went here because my mother's car looked nice. But for some reason they can't get it right on my car. I went back twice and the second time is worse. There's more bubbles long ones and they keep cutting my tint short on the front windows. First my tint didn't go all the way up on my drivers side now it's cut short on my passenger side. So freaking annoying. I wish I could get my money back. Very lazy job. How's it a lifetime warranty if you keep cutting corners and doing a mediocre job. Get it together!!!!! Whoever is your tint techs needs more training. They are messing up your reputation and people tint. No I do not want to go back there ever. Waste of time and my money. read more

Bought a Groupon and made an appointment. For there ans the staff is rude. I was told 1 to 2 hours. There were 4 people already waiting and they said it was a 5 hour wait. I threw the Groupon away! Also..the Groupon only covers the lowest grade tint. They try and upsell you to the $200 package...which is what other shops charge without the Groupon. DO NOT GO THERE! read more

I absolutely love my window tint. Sahm has been really great for my window tint! I got it done on my Honda pilot and I plan on using his services for my other cars as well. He does quality work and he makes the process so easy and simple. Thank you Sahm from Jet Black Tint Sacramento! read more

I had high hopes for this location. We made an appointment @9am to get the $99 deal + $40each for the two front windows on my 2014 Camry. We didnt know we'd be looking at 3 higher grade options for tint. Who wouldnt want the top brand for heat resistant tint? Wish that was mentioned alongside the deal. We decided to go with the 2nd best tint offered, went through two inspections on the car, paid, & went home. A couple hours went by, we realized the phone number on the invoice was incorrect. Gave them a call to fix it and Sam tells us that the detailers want to charge for tint removal or else they cant work on my car. (There was only 3inches of old tint at the bottom of the back winshield). We expected some sort of compromise but nope, they wanted to charge 150 for the strip of old tint to be removed. (Other locations charged the same amount for all 7 windows with the old tint to remove) He then says otp that we Have to come to the shop to get it all sorted. We decided to get a REFUND because of the wasted trip, them continuously trying to get over on us, and not mentioning the extra charge for tint removal during the inspections. To top it all off, they canceled the refund... smh so thats being handled also. Save yourself and go somewhere else. read more

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!! Booked an appointment for their $129 five window tint. Later was told that if I want anything darker than 50% that would be an extra $100. Nowhere on the website does it say or explain this up charge. Bad business two thumbs down for the BAIT AND SWITCH! Wasting peoples time! There are many other places out here that tint for better deals without being scammy! read more

That online deal looks good yeah? If you change your mind for any reason, even before you schedule an appointment, good luck getting a refund. I've been trying since February 2nd; several emails and phone calls later and here we are with zero follow up and no refund. I'll leave it to you to draw the parallel between my circumstance and any hypothetical situation you might find yourself in when trying to get something corrected. Stay away. read more

I called them to book a window tint for my car they said we have a special deal going on for 3 days. Which you can have a full tint for $99 and I booked an appointment. When I get to the shop they said No we can do tint only five windows starting from the back, and it's not include the front door windows. I'm Not recommending this place for anyone. read more

Scammy and horrible customer service. Went there with an appt time. Arrived on time and was told it would be an hour. Paid a sale price then they tried to upsale. I left and still haven't received a refund month later. read more

Came in on a Saturday and worked with Sam. Super helpful and answered all the questions that we had.

Got my windows tinted here a few months ago by Sam. I wanted to wait to make sure all the bubbles went away from a few of my windows before leaving a review. Which took almost 3-4 weeks. 1st my window tint came out good. But the sale only applies if you don't want heat reflection, so you can go as dark as you want for the $99 sale but with no heat reflected. Customer service was good. But the wait is why I am leaving 2 stars. I waited over 8+ HOURS!!! And even when I showed up at 9:30 at night, it still wasn't done. For reference I dropped off my car 1 o'clock on a Sunday. Had to call just to check on my car because I knew they would be closing soon & i never heard from Sam until i called multiple times. The first time i called he said an hour.. showed up and still needed to do one more window. I learned my lesson and won't ever return. read more

Sam was very polite and informative and explained what was taking place and the price was reasonable. The work done looked great. But I was surprised with what happened afterwards. They had taken off my rear view mirror to work on placing a strip of tint. After a few hours I found my rear view mirror had fallen off the windshield! Just glad it didn't break when it fell on the floor. read more

So I wanted to get my tint done and saw this special on TV and Social Media. It says $99 for all your windows with Ceramic Tint. Kinda on a budget so maybe I'll give it a try. I went on their website to see what the actual breakdown would be so I wouldn't sound stupid if I ever came in to get it done. The quote I received went from $99 to all the way up to $299 because I have "extra windows" and those small windows would amount to about $50 each? What? But if you go on their website, it states that they would cover those small windows?!? Yes kinda confusing. I would've done business with them just to show support and I respect the fact that they do good content. These prices are crazy, let's not also forget the commercials you run on TV are very mis-leading. Anyway could've easily earned my business at a reasonable price would've gladly paid. But $50 per small window that's supposed to be included? Nope. read more

Although their social media advertisement is a little misleading, I still found the overall price, quality, and customer service to be stellar. Sam is very friendly and helpful. Just know that the $129 special does not include the front driver and front passenger windows ($40 each). Also, the tint offered at that price is of lesser quality, so I opted for the second level of ceramic tint. However, the price was still very good and I was offered a discount for doing two cars. I recommend Jet Black Tint. Just plan on $200-250 per car by the time you do all 7 of your windows (2 front, 2 rear, 2 small rear, 1 back window), and get the better level of tint for heat refraction and UV protection. read more

I just got my tint done from this shop 2 days ago. Don't get me wrong, the tint looks okay, but there is damage to my window trim and surrounding parts of the doors. I had an appointment at 11AM and didn't receive my car till 7:30PM! That's not even the worse part. When i got home my tire pressure light came on but i thought nothing of it, thinking it just needed some air. The next morning i wake up to go to work to my tire being completely flat, so i bring it to the tire shop for them to tell me i have razor blade stuck in my tire and the whole thing needs to be replaced. Super annoying and to be honest i wouldent really recommend this tint shop. I ended up spending more on a new tire than i did on the tint smh. read more

Booked an appointment based on a firm $129 tint quote. Showed up and they jacked the base price to $149, then slammed me with a surprise $350 fee for "old tint removal" I can literally peel off myself. They never mentioned before. Felt completely scammed. Moral of the story remove your own tint but don't go here. Bait and switch read more

The service and quality is excellent! Highly recommended for your car window tinting needs.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I had my car tinted here and it was a disaster from start to finish. The first job was full of bubbles everywhere, jagged edges, scratches all around the film. I went back and had them redo it, and the second time was just as bad. When I asked about it, the tint guy brushed me off and told me "there's nothing he can do about the bubbles" -- which is ridiculous because I later found out that isn't true. Trying to get help through their customer service was even worse. I called multiple times, was constantly passed around to people who barely spoke English. I got yelled at, I asked for a supervisor, and then hung up on. No professionalism at all. I drove an hour to an another tint shop, and guess what? They fixed the tint with no issue. "I would never let a car leave looking like this" was the guys words when seeing my car. That proves the original shop has no idea what they are doing. Save yourself the headache -- avoid this place at all costs. read more

Sad to say but if you're a woman they're gonna try to gouge you on the pricing. I had gotten a quote for $150 and had my sister take my car in while I was at work. They tripled the quote and when my sister called me for approval I called them back and they apologized. Needless to say I didn't leave my car and will not be bringing any cars to them anymore. i was trying to get the $149 4th of july special that is advertized on facebook. but it's all a scam so they can tell you your car dosen't qualify. the excuse i was givin was it needed to have 5 window including the rear above the deck lid. which mine does have 5 including the rear. the advertizment says nothing of size or configuration. and wanted to charge me $449.00 for my car that has slightly smaller rear windows using less tint compaired to other vehicles. make that make sence, in all they lose my business and everyone i know. not providing the service you are advertizing is bad business. read more
