I took my truck there for brake service, they said I needed brake line repair, which I considered to be true since my brakes went out when I was out driving. They also said needed brakes, calipers rotors all around, they said everything was $ 2200. I let them do the job, they said it would take a week, it took them 3 weeks, then when I was ready to pay the guy tells me $4200. I said the quote was $2200, then he says oh well, I'll give you the discount of $3800, are you serious? I asked for my truck back , now it's $2200. I paid, they said they would be finished up that evening, I asked could they bring to my house, no problem, tow truck comes but my truck in yard, don't knock on door or nothing, just so happen I saw him, I'm like where's the keys, in the truck, this man in such a rush. I say where's the hub caps to the wheels, he look he say on front seat, so you can't put everything back like it was. I drove it it seem fine, brakes work, but they emptied the gas didn't even replace it, I mean zero drop, I don't think I could go to the gas station, I had to call AAA. This place sucks and a rip off! Don't go here ever! Don't even get gas there! read more

Update - turns out their work did show up in carfax! Their work did appear online when I checked again. Not everyone who works there seems to be aware of it though. So I'm not sure how it works... They are nice and very helpful and I really want to give them my business on a regular basis. However, they aren't connected to Carfax, which I relied on extensively for maintenance info when I was researching cars to buy used. Now, I want all my maintenance records recorded in Carfax so that when I sell it, buyers will see all the maintenance work it received. So I will have to go somewhere else that uses Carfax, for ongoing work. I'll come here in an emergency though read more

Absolutely amazing! Nick was so thorough with my fix. I am a college student, so I do not have a lot of money to be dropping on my car and Nick made sure that I had every single option presented to me, even looking for used parts and junkyard parts to make my fix more reasonable for me. He put in the extra work, just so I did not have to spend extra money. I promise you you will not find a car shop like this. Most of them are in it for the money, but not Jess's Service Center. They care more about you, and getting you the best possible quality of service. That is why I am only ever going to bring my car here for any sort of car issue. I only trust Jess's Service Center to be honest with me, which is not something most car shops are. Specifically ask for Nick, he will make sure you are taken care of. Wife's car was not starting and the owner Nassau came over and changed out the battery within 5 minutes of my call. Next day , car was not starting again. Nassau came over checked on car and had my wife drive it to the service center for a look. He found the problem and did not even charge us an additional fee and car was finished same day. Honest man, Honest mechanic. Lucky to have a guy like this in the neighborhood. Thank you SO much. Top Notch. Give this guy all your money. He's awesome. read more

I must have left a light on recently, because this lovely battery died on me. Of course, I panicked. Jess's came & towed it in, charged it, and checked all of my electrics. It's fine. A regular fuel and 24 hr service customer. Gas up three cars and drive approx 50k mikes a year. Notmally staff is nice. Today the elder grey haired mechanic was rude when I asked politely to air a low tire in a vintage car. I needed the air gauge. His response was go use the one on the corner. I asked if it worked and he said I don't know it's not ours. Extremely Bad attitude. I will reconsider using them for service in the future. read more

I went to leave my house this morning, and my car was dead. Called AAA for roadside assistance and AJ from Jess's arrived 25 minutes later (the AAA estimate was an hour). AJ was courteous, efficient, and--after jumping my car--even wire-brushed then sprayed solvent on my corroded battery terminals just because he saw they were a mess. I didn't even have to ask! I really appreciated his service and was glad Jess's picked up my AAA help request. read more

Jess's shop serviced my Audi some time ago when I had issues brought on with extended periods of driving, without much thought in maintenance. I thought the pricing was pretty fair, not the cheapest around, but usually thats the case with anything, you have to pay for good service. The work was completed fairly quickly, and still significantly less than dealership cost for the same exact job. The staff is friendly, and it is family owned. It feels good to know that my money is going back into the community, rather than buying some millionaire his 80th ferrari. read more

I came in with a nail in my tire and they dropped what they were doing and removed nail and plugged the hole and rechecked for leaks in less than 15 min! The owner's name is Nasaar but I think it should be NASCAR with how fast they serviced my vehicle! Thank you Jesse's service! read more

You all did work I didn't agree to nor authorize and falsely claimed my 6 year old engine needed to be replaced. My car was drivable before you all sabotaged it. Horrible experience. Wasted $300 paying you for labor I never consented. Will never return. You all started working on my car before charging the battery to even check the codes to know what's wrong. read more

JESS has been two our family house twice in 4 days with the same exact driver at the request of AAA towing. The driver is very rude and unprofessional and refused to pick up the car even though the whole driveway is paved and several other AAA rated towing companies have towed vehicles from the same spot over the last 30yrs including his own company. If you stand at this drivers window he will not acknowledge you he will carry on his own personal conversation as if you are not there until he is done very sad this is the worst experience I have ever had with a. AAA rated tow company ever and I have had the service for 30yrs and possibly 15 cars. After consulting with AAA and them taking a aerial view of the property they agreed there is no reason this car couldn't be towed and will send another tow company people be aware. read more

I'm so sad to have to write this review. This place is very close to my house.. so I was hoping they'd be a great shop. I started the process with them on Tuesday. I had a whine in the power steering and a clank in the back. They quoted me that they would have my car in the following day and repair. Well let me say.. my car was not ready until Friday at 4. I continuously had call for any update. Also they diagnosed the car with needed a muffler repair... odd.. didn't seem to have any signs of needing a muffler... but I thought maybe that was the rattle in the back. Finally I was told it would be ready at 12:30 on Friday. Got dropped off... not ready. WHAT??? Guy says... I'll make it up to you... well that was $35 dollars off a $370 repair. I missed 2 and a half days of work because of lies... $35 off... whatever, I paid. Kicker... unprofessional staff couldn't find me keys... and guess what? Rattle is still completely present. My dad taught auto mechanics for 30 years. Me ex is a tech. All said this behavior was beyond unprofessional and close to criminal. If you value your time and car...DON'T GO HERE!!! read more

Have been here twice now and have been happy both times. They are a small shop so the turn over is not necessarily the faster but if it takes 2 days instead of 2 hours and is done correctly and for a fair price, I'll return and would recommend. read more

The worst service ever, my husband calls them today (1-30-19 the coldest day in MI, record )to pick his car, and take it to the dealer. This guy offered service for the car and my husband said ok. When my husband went in the car he waited more than 30 min, they were not coming, he called them and they said it was going to be another 45 min. (7:00 am in the morning). My husband had to cancell cause it was way to long. Really bad service, I am disappointed and I don't recommend it. read more

Jess's Service Center is faulty at reporting the truth. They were contracted through AAA to change my flat tire. They reported to AAA that they were just minutes away. When I called Jess's they reported they had no one to service me because they were too busy. When asked why they made fake reports to AAA I was disconnected then told 15 minutes. This process of me calling AAA then following up with Jess's happened 3 times before AAA realized they were making false reports to get favorable reviews. Well the review is they compromised my safety by having me wait 3 hours for a 45 minute quote. read more

Awesome guys! So helpful, unlike Pointe Towing. Pointe towing ( despite knowing my situation ) told me they couldn't tow my car without current tags ( it sat all winter ) and I understood that ,and made arrangements for them to return the next day. They then told me "You have to push your car out to the street, because we don't do driveways." What? You're a TOWING company!!! The excuse was, that the owner was unsuccessfully sued for a damaged driveway. Well, you print up waivers then, dummies! Jesse's came out and turned my whole day around with their friendly and professional techs, Duane and Kenny. They saw that they could help me without even towing, airing my two flat tires and giving me a jump start. Pointe could've done that, but decided to cop a "my truck, my rules, so screw you" attitude. Duane and Kenny made a life long customer, and Pointe Towing lost one. That's how you do business!!!!! read more

Had vehicle towed to Jess's. Diagnosed the problem and repaired the vehicle, new fuel pump. $800 charge. I picked up the vehicle and had the same problem (stalled and would not start). They towed the vehicle again (tried to charge me for another tow). Now they claim vehicle had a new problem (battery that had work perfect when it was brought to them and a fuse to the fuel pump had blown, yes the fuel pump that they had just replaced) and was charged another $150. Picked vehicle up again and made it two miles from the shop and vehicle died and would not start. They towed it again (3rd time). First they admitted that they put on the wrong fuel pump, exchanged it for the correct one and then they claimed again that it was a new problem. Electrical problem this time, probably caused by wiring in the wrong fuel pump, another charge of $255. After 3 tows, 10 days without a vehicle, $1205 charge and cost of a rental car, I again picked up the vehicle which was now running worse than it ever has. When I got it home, I researched it myself, found 2 plug wires that were not connected (who knows why, but you would think a mechanic would know when a vehicle was running 2 cylinders down) and a bad throttle control sensor ($25 part and about 25 min. to replace) and now have a perfect running vehicle. I definitely would not recommend taking a vehicle here unless you like being charged for unnecessary repairs. read more
