A side room had a lot of kitchen items, and another featured fabric on the bolt, ready to be cut. There's a nostalgic air to the place, even without the sewing section. My impression was that a sell off of some of the dated merchandise to make way for fresher goods might make sense. They've got location going for them, plus parking.

After seeking the manager for approval, she declined to honor the tagged price. She said the other gloves were marked with the higher price, essentially acknowledging the error in their tagging of their merchandise. Considering I don't work there and didn't price tag their merchandise, it was really confusing why that was relevant. Also, this all begs the question of how many times they do this to their patrons? Is it company policy to price an item one thing and overcharge by 33% and hope no one notices? Just honor the price tag. Not difficult. You did it, not me. I'm a paying customer, who is in town regularly enough. I hope the $5 was worth it. You clearly needed it more than me. Bums.
