It's hard to find a barber who cuts hair the way you prefer. Ms. Jessica does just that, just the I like my hair done. She runs a clean shop, comfortable, and in a convenient location. Prices are reasonable. Parking spaces are for compact vehicles, but it's not an issue, there's always space when you're there. My overall impression was the two women working there didn't like their jobs or care that much for the customers. The haircut I received was so-so at best. There were 3 first time experiences for me at a barber shop: -I was nicked behind my ear when she was shaving the sides of my head with a disposable razor -The woman cutting my hair never bothered to use scissors, just the electric clipper. -I was requested to slouch down so she could cut my hair. I've had my hair cut by many short people and have never been asked to do this before. FYI: I'm only 5' 10" tall. The first two incidents probably occurred because she (I say she because she never bothered to introduce herself) was in a rush and obviously didn't care. Go to this place if you want to know what being sheared like a sheep feels like. No disrespect to the other reviewers but they're wrong if they think this is a good barber shop. Jessica took over this Barber shop and did a great job in cleaning up the look of it. For $12 u get a fade and a line up. Great cut for the price! The barber shop across the street charges $16. Jessicas sister also cuts hair here as well. I prefer jessica. read more

I am very critical about my hair and have been to dozens of shops only to be disappointed. It is very difficult to find a barbershop that does razor fades and I've been coming to this barbershop for over 5 years now, on average every two weeks. Jessica took over the location and did a great job cleaning up the look inside and out. She and her sister take their time and are always greet you with a cheerful hello as you walk in. I moved my work to Milpitas and found this little shop. When I go in I ask Jessica to make me look like a superstar, and she always comes through. Her sister also cuts there too, but like many others, I myself prefer Jessica. Went here after our go-to Barber, Serra Barber Shop (across the street) by Big Lots was packed and happen to just have 2 barbers working, normally 3-4. It's clear that Jessica is the owner and the Pro so if you are particular about your hair, get her. Since my son has more hair than I do I had him to go to her and I got mine from the other lady who I thought did a real nice job. You can't beat the price in this area! Amazing deal so that is why I am rating this 4 stars instead of 3. I feel like when you get a great deal, you have less right to be picky about the ambiance. Cons: Vietnamese Soap opera playing loud on the TV with a relative watching the whole time, flashing her bare feet every so often when she wants to stretch her toes outside of her slippers. I love and appreciate ALL cultures but when you have a TV station on broadcasting something other than English or something very very NICHE then you are sending a message that those are the only customers you care about. As a small business owner, I believe it's very important to take a genuine interest in your customers, not just be "good at your job." I don't like to chat a lot during a hair cut but a few pleasantries and a smile tell me I am welcome. My haircut was all business. No smiles, no "how are you?" just intent focus on my haircut, which is what I came for. SUMMARY: SOLID hair cut at a SMOKING price. Clean shop. I've been going here a couple years now after bouncing between various places. Both ladies know me well and all that's required from me is to sit. Cuts are perfect everytime with no direction provided. They also do an old school straight edge on the neck with a warm lather. For a hairy man like myself, it's great! The place is simple but nice and very clean. The two sisters are always warm and courteous. My husband says he is lucky to find this barber shop because he has had a couple of haircuts at Supercuts before and they did a really bad and sloppy job. But the ladies at Jessica's are amazing at what they do. Haircuts are-$13 and hair-color $35 and up ( I would try and post a picture of their price chart next time my husband goes there for a cut.) My husband does not talk much and it''s hard for him to explain what he actually wants. But after my husband showed them a picture of what he wants, the ladies figured out he needs a no.4 or 3 at the back and no.5 or 4 at top (now he gets no.3 & 4 and these are like really short and that is what he prefers :) ) The ladies are perfectionists and do a great job in making sure you are satisfied. My go-to spot to get a cut in Milpitas. She listens and cuts hair however I request it. She also has a very good memory and remembers her clients on a first name basis.
