Within minutes I felt limber and loosened up. I could legit feel my muscles get looser and hear my joints pop! I went in, she took the time to see me fast and was extremely punctual. She operates very professionally and is honestly very funny. Her sense of humor and jokes are what helped get me through the pain. To those bashing on her, I don't see what she does wrong. She tells you to be on time, be on time. She tells you it's gonna hurt, so it's gonna hurt. I feel like the reviews that bash her ignore what she tells you to do. If you don't like the way she conducts business go somewhere else. If you're ready to take the pain but feel amazing afterwards go see Naomi. Thank you Naomi for the massage and laughs, maybe next time you can give me a massage on Venus :)

She's trained as a neuro-muscular massage therapist (not sure the correct name) and can find the source of the pain/discomfort/stress and use just the right pressure to release it. Third, she REALLY cares. She did a lot of research for me. She found me an acupuncturist that helped quiet the nerves and a number of products to help me on a trip to Hawaii. Hers is a one-person shop in beautiful Montrose, worth a drive if needed. She was so good that I booked my wife an appointment after my follow up. She really worked wonders for my wife. My back is still a mess, but she's an important part of the team to bring healing. Speaking of Hawaii, Ruby is from Hawaii and exudes Aloha. I recently experienced a loss, and for the last few days, I had accumulated such painful tension in my neck and shoulders that was also bringing about a migraine for several days. I knew it was all the pain of loss just building inside of me. I went to her website and was able to easily schedule and pay for the session. I opted for a 90-minute bereavement session. Her service is provided in her own home, and there was plenty of street parking. I am not sure if there was an elevator, but I needed to take stairs to reach her place, and once I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Jess and her gorgeous cat. I didn't know what to expect as this was the first time I ever got a bereavement massage and my first time meeting Jess, but I am so glad I went. Jess was so kind and gentle with me in even just getting to know me, giving me a vibe that I could open up about my loss and just really sit in my grief with her. After chatting for a few minutes, she stepped out of the room, and I disrobed to my comfort level and laid on the warm platform that was so comfy and cozy! The massage was a mix of deep tissue and also comforting touch. It was exactly what I didn't know I needed. At one point, she started working on where my tension was most concentrated, and I just wept. It just literally poured out so unexpectedly, but Jess made me feel okay to cry and let it out. I normally don't just cry with people I just met, but I felt safe enough to do so here. She even remembered my loved one's name throughout the session, and it just meant the world to me and my little broken heart to hear him be acknowledged. After the massage, Jess gave me some tips to take care of myself after this intense body work session and a great big hug. The rest of the day, I was completely exhausted. The next day, I felt a bit sore, but I also felt so much lighter. I will definitely be seeing Jess again, especially for this type of massage as I continue to learn how to live life without my loved one and navigate my grief. If you are considering a bereavement massage (or any massage service, really!), I highly recommend Jess. Her spirit and energy were so wonderful. :')

I found Valerie to be accommodating, gracious, friendly, personable, cordial, inviting and most of all, professional. I had a 1.5-hour massage with her that was for just a general and relaxation massage; I had no real issues, muscle soreness, spasms or knots I needed to deal with. Valerie was generous with her time, and coconut oil. I mention this, because I've been to other masseuse who were very stingy and conservative with their oil as if it was their last bottle, and of course, without oil there is skin friction. Valerie was generous with her oil. My other pet peeve is the amount of time a masseuse spends with me in general, and specifically, how much time they spend on each body part. I felt that Valerie spent the appropriate time on each body part. My last pet peeve is the ol' bait and switch ad, where they promise you one thing, but you get another and feel scammed. Needless to say, Valerie is the real deal, otherwise, I would not be recommending her here. I felt comfortable, relaxed and safe in her company... and yes, I would highly recommend her to family and friends, and you, the general public. F. Reeves
