The coaching with Erika was also very helpful: after having a rough time due to being nervous in one GMAT attempt, she helped me get back on my feet. I got a score that I was super satisfied with - thank you, GMAT Ninja team!

Like most students, I first discovered GMAT Ninja through their YouTube channel. With a ton of free…read moreresources on how to decode the GMAT & work through the various problems, I was able to elevate my score. I was especially proud of the 88/90 (99th Percentile) I got in Verbal, a significant increase from what I was scoring previously. After such a positive experience, I wanted to see if their application consultants would also be able to help me. I can honestly say this was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Working with James, I was able to get highly personalized, honest feedback that really made me rethink how I was structuring my applications & essays. As someone doing the MBA to double pivot (industry & function), it was very important for me to make sure I was able to convey that my career path til date made sense connecting to what I wanted to do in the future & that I could provide a unique value proposition to an incoming class. James and I invested the proper amount of time brainstorming what the best way to tell that story. I would send him a draft in the evening/night, I would do my day job and when I got back from work, I would have an updated reply with constructive personalized feedback that I would take into consideration before working on my next draft. Once I finally nailed the story, the rest was history. In the end, I was able to get admission at every M7 & T15 that I applied to, as well as collected over $120K in scholarship money. I do not think either of those would have been possible without working with James, Charles & the rest of the GMAT Ninja team. I am truly grateful the experience I had working with these folks & my only regret is that I didn't work with them sooner.

Reliable Tutoring - Scribblar is the online tutoring platform I use. I simply send a link for the Scribblar "room" and the student can open it in a web browser.

Here's the scenario: Fall 2019 semester with my third attempt at passing the required stats class for my degree, This was literally the very last class I needed. If I didn't pass this time, I was not going back. My university was out of state, my class was online and while there was an instructor, he was more of a moderator. The platform was Pearson MyStatLab. I am not the brightest light in the shed when it comes to stats and my light was getting dimmer and dimmer with my pre-Cameron tutor. Just like this was my third attempt at the class, Cameron was my third tutor and finally, "The One". My first tutor wanted to just show me everything on his phone. The second tutor had children I could hear fighting in the background. With Cameron, even though we were online screen sharing, and on the phone, there was never any background noise. If I needed a visual, which was quite often, we would use Scribblar. There were instances when my brain just came to a screeching halt and my head would hit the desk, but Cameron with the patience of Job, would wait for me to come up with the solution. When it just wasn't there, I would tell him, and he would guide me to the answer. We stayed on task. We got the work done. He very patiently waited for me to take screen shots so I could use them as visual aids. He sent me tips through e-mail. I passed my third exam, even though I'm sure I stopped breathing at some point before that exam, and the class even after I failed the first two exams. Here's to you Cameron with my eternal thanks. I will never forget: "If the p is low, the null must go." You're the Best!

He came to each class well-prepared. He has the ability to explain complicated problems in an easy way. He knows the subject very well and is always willing to tailor his classes to each student's special needs. He is also very knowledgeable and can teach any subject from math, physics, and chemistry, to computer science. He takes the tutoring job very seriously and took special classes from CU so he can be well prepared for the job. We tried several different tutors. Cameron is clearly the best.

I found out about John on a flyer in a coffee shop shortly after I was told that "people who think they can't sing have likely been told that by someone" and that it isn't true. After hearing this, I decided it was time to let 20+ years of someone else's poor judgment of me be buried right alongside him. I sought out Make Great Music to see if I could be helped out. The first day I met John I sat across from him and cried because I was scared sh**less. He was super chill about the whole thing, and even had a box of kleenex at the ready. (maybe crying is common in vocal/music lessons?) I explained to him what had happened and that I was determined not to let that ghost run my life any longer. We went through our first lesson (which I suspect I can't recall due to my nerves) and I decided to sign up for weekly lessons and plow through this fear until I could get on stage and sing without shame. John has been awesome! He's very patient, very encouraging, and has given me so much confidence. He has helped me discover and believe that I can actually sing! And not just sing, but sing WELL. I just have to get out of my own way and let my voice open up. There've been times when I have been so impressed with myself that ... well, I think I'm still a little shocked by it. It's been six months and while I haven't yet jumped up on stage I can see it happening in my mind as a very successful experience. Even on days when I dread my lesson I leave feeling so much happier and we even have fun during the process (crazy, amiright?!). John is incredibly gifted as a teacher and coach and working with him has made me realize potential within myself I did not think my voice was capable of. Thanks so much, John!
