Soma Healing Massage Therapy - Pre-natal and Post-partum massage should not be considered a luxury, but rather a necessity for the Mother's overall well-being.

    Soma Healing Massage Therapy

I have gone to many massage therapist and chiropractors for various reasons over the last 50 years…read moreand I can say with complete honesty that Liz Card of Soma Healing in Louisville is the best of the best!!! She really cares about her patients (I consider myself her patient vs. customer). She goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable while she heals you. If what she is doing hurts, she immediately backs off and goes at it in a diffent manner until you are in fact healed. You never feel uncomfortable about telling her if something she's doing is " too much". I have gone to her feeling like I was 100 years and left feeling like a kid again. Compared to some chiropractors, she is an angel come to earth to help us poor suffering humans... I will never waste money on a chiropractor again!!!

This form of massage also relieves swelling, reduces muscle tension and toxins which can build up in the body's soft tissues during demanding athletic performance. 2. Hot Stone Massage Therapy: This type of massage involves the therapist using heated, smoothed, flat Basalt stones which are placed on key points of the body. The stones are also used as the therapist holds them in their hands during the massage itself to help rejuvenate and relax the tissues quicker. The stones are immersed in water and heated in an electric heating device until they are within 127 to 135 degrees. Basalt stones are usually the size of a large egg, and are rich in iron, therefore they can retain the heat for longer periods of time. 3. Myofascial Release Treatment: A safe and highly effective manual therapy that involves applying slow, sustained pressure to help release tension in the fascial layers using little to no lotion. Fascia is a connective tissue that surrounds each muscle and interconnects all internal components of the body, such as the organs. This tissue specifically can store physical or emotional memories due to trauma (such as surgical procedures) and by helping to release it physically, some believe that it may help eliminate emotional components.

This gentleman is not only extremely charismatic, but he is, without a doubt, one of the best…read morereaders I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. My meeting with Robert at the Mind, Body, Spirit Expo at the Valley Forge Convention Center involved me looking at his booth and having him ask if I'd like a free palm reading. Normally, I HATE having my palm read since I feel it doesn't tell me anything. However, his free 5 minute reading was extremely informative; there was not an ounce of doubt in my mind that he knew exactly what he was talking about. He didn't hesitate once, which is the mark of an experienced reader. Then I scheduled a 20 minute reading about my life's purpose which was conveniently recorded for me on CD for me to keep. But the unique thing was that rocks and beads were used instead of cards, palms, etc. I was able to ask 4-5 questions, and he would tell me exactly what the rocks themselves meant as well as what the position they were in meant. He was a fantastic guy as well as reader. If you ever get the chance to see him in action, definitely take advantage! (He's from Colorado but travels from time to time!)
