I consider myself to be a beginner when it comes to styling my own hair and cannot always rely on myself, so I wanted a professional to style it for this special occasion. I heard of the Blo Out Lounge through word of mouth and the photos on their instagram was enough to draw me into booking an appointment. I made an appointment with Tina and she did a fantastic job with my hair. She really took her time, and her expertise with blowouts made me feel confident and beautiful when she was done. She was also very friendly and we had a nice conversation while she did my hair and I highly recommend you book an appointment with her. The entire staff was very professional and friendly and since it was my first time, they took me on a tour of the salon which made me feel very welcomed. The vibe of the whole salon is very luxurious yet comfortable, and their new addition of their soon to be juice bar will really make this place even more high quality. I will definitely be going back for another blowout and will be trying more of their services in the future!

I never leave disappointed. The products they use on your hair too are so divine. When they wash your hair they give a great scalp massage as well. Usually washing stations are so uncomfortable, but here it is a great place to lay back, have your hair washed and just unwind. It is a beautiful salon and you walk out feeling like a million dollars!

Clean, bright, just the right amount of decor and product displayed without being cluttered. Ashley, Chrysa, and Dana all immediately make you feel comfortable as well- you can tell they all love what they do and love working with each other. It's a good vibe from start to finish. Ashley has been doing my hair for years and she is just an amazing stylist. She takes the time to understand what you're looking to have done and always beyond delivers, but she makes sure she does it in a way that keeps your hair healthy which I think is something that some stylists disregard sometimes. I've never seen anything less than amazing color and incredible cuts come out of all three of the stylists. Get an amazing hair cut and color, support a local business that gives back to their community, and one that is owned by women- I highly recommend and always will! Also, I should mention how thorough they are when it comes to the health and safety of their clients during the pandemic. When you arrive, they ask you to call instead of coming in in order to regulate the number of people in the salon and make sure stations are sanitized prior to your appointment. They immediately check your temperature and have you fill out a basic questionnaire. They have masks on at all times, as do all clients; they even have disposable masks for you to use if you're concerned about color getting on your cloth ones! I felt very safe and cared for the entire time.

I'm usually not someone who leaves bad reviews because I understand people's businesses matter, but…read moreI left this appointment really disappointed. I came in asking for honey blonde highlights and even showed a reference picture. I specifically explained that if the exact color wasn't possible, I still wanted a noticeable blonde look, preferably on the golden side. Instead, I ended up with extremely thin highlights that are barely visible and nothing close to what I asked for. What upset me even more was the haircut. I clearly said multiple times that I only wanted my ends trimmed and cleaned up not a haircut. My hair was nearly waist length when straightened , and she cut it to bra length with layers that I never asked for. When I expressed that I felt too much was cut off, my concerns were brushed aside and I was repeatedly told "it's cute" and that I'd like it. I'm disappointed because I felt unheard throughout the entire appointment. I came in with clear communication and left feeling like my stylist did what she personally wanted instead of listening to what I asked for.
