From Brazilian Jiu Jitsu/Wrestling to Striking/Boxing the Instructors here are very qualified and knowledgeable of their craft, and it shows when the kids compete. The biggest reason I decided to have my son attend Strategic as opposed to other martial arts schools is 1- The curriculum that is taught is done by professionals that actively participate in the field. 2- The amount of students per class is fair and a frequent training schedule. Students are able to ask questions and the instructors are able to correct any issues or concerns individually. 3- No BS or hidden fees, you pay for your Monthly membership and an annual fee that covers promotion ceremonies (4x a year-don't quote me on that) and any expenses for the instructors travel. should your child compete. Before signing up, I specifically asked Joseph K. if the membership was truly month-to-month with NO contract and NO annual fee. He assured me it was and pressured me to sign immediately, claiming the promotion might not be available later. He then rushed me through multiple electronic documents while verbally explaining the terms. After using the gym only ONE TIME, I was shocked to find an additional annual fee of over $70 charged to my card that had never been clearly disclosed to me during the sales process. When I complained, Joseph denied what he had told me. Corporate, including Melanie and her managers, refused to honor the representations made by their own employee and relied entirely on documents signed during a rushed sales process. They canceled my membership, kept my money, and left me with over $150 in charges for a gym I used only once. MY STRONG ADVICE: DO NOT TRUST VERBAL PROMISES MADE BY SALES STAFF AT THIS LOCATION. If a dispute arises later, corporate may refuse to honor what you were told and will rely solely on the paperwork. READ EVERY SINGLE WORD BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING. Based on my experience, I felt completely misled and would strongly encourage others to AVOID THIS LOCATION.

Yes you need Pilates socks to do Pilates, they literally say that on the website, on your first email, in a text, so if you don't want to buy Pilates socks there just buy them yourself. The classes are great and the teachers are amazing, you don't ever feel like you're doing the same thing over and over again, the teachers do a great job at switching up the classes. Every class works your entire body. We use an app to book classes and it's really easy I almost always get into all the classes I want. They charge you if you don't show or cancel within 12 hours before class, it happens and it happened to me before because life happens it's really not a big deal and they do warn you about this. It's also extremely clean. My tummy is flatter, I'm way more flexible, I feel better and stronger and most importantly I'm motivated to work out because I love it.

Probably one of the worst customer service experiences I've had…read more My daughter and I signed up for a one-month trial totaling $62. Due to a very busy work schedule, I was only able to attend three classes during that month, so I made the decision to cancel. When I first spoke to staff, instead of simply processing my request, I was met with pushy questioning about what I planned to do for workouts if I cancelled and was told that keeping a membership "once a month is better than nothing," which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. I was informed that I needed to cancel prior to February 5, 2026. I called multiple times before that date, left messages requesting assistance with cancellation, and received no return calls. I eventually went in person, completed the cancellation paperwork, and specifically confirmed with staff that both memberships were cancelled and handled. Despite doing everything properly and on time, on February 5, 2026, my account was charged $159 twice -- once for me and once for my daughter -- totaling approximately $320 in unauthorized charges. I again called and left a message requesting a correction, and once again received no return call. This experience has been extremely disappointing. A gym should focus not only on attracting members but also on handling cancellations professionally, respectfully, and accurately. I am still waiting for the charges to be corrected and for confirmation that the accounts are fully cancelled. I hope management addresses these communication and billing issues so other customers do not experience the same situation.
