This is a newer location near my house. Also, it is conveniently on my way home from the gym. So this has been a new found easy dinner after the gym. I would say that sandwiches and cold food are generally not my idea of dinner. However, this Jersey Mike's has changed my mind. I've finally discovered a sandwich I really enjoy. I love #3. Ham and provolone. My husband loves #14, the veggie. I get a regular and for me, it is enough for 2 meals. Same for my husband. I love the option of ordering on the app on our way home. So I have timed it pretty well. We have sometimes gotten there a little early and I'll eat my chips before the sandwiches are ready. Also, we've gotten there and the sandwiches are ready to go. My husband remarked that everyone is very friendly at this store. We are always greeted kindly. We really appreciate that because it makes it a pleasure to visit. The interior of the shop is just like other Jersey Mike's locations where you can watch your sandwich being made. The store is located in a bustling shopping center and while we never park up front, there is plenty of parking in the lot. We have eaten our sandwiches inside the little shop and there has never been a wait for a table. I would suggest you give this Jersey Mike's a try. They are doing a darn good job of making good sandwiches and making customers feel welcome. read more

Food was so good a week ago that we went to pick up sandwiches again today but we were soooo disappointed. We both got the Big Kahuna Chicken Cheesesteak sandwiches and they were anything but Big! It was literally half the chicken I had the week before. Last time I got chicken and the hubbie got beef cheesesteaks. I think perhaps they split the chicken between us this time. Thoroughly disappointed. If that happens again they will lose us as customers. You want what you pay for. Lost 2 stars for us this time. read more

This is only my second time getting a Jersey Mike's sandwich and this location did not disappoint. I told the gentleman behind the counter that I wanted everything in it and loaded it up. Said it was his first time making a sandwich with everything and it looked delicious. I paid for all the extras and it was all worth. Every bite was delicious. This location is smack in the center of Vacaville where more locals can come visit. The food smelled so good and the employees and owners were very excited to have new customers place their orders. Went in here about a week ago. There was only one person in line and looked like he was picking up since he went in and stood at the pick up area. There were 2 employees making sandwiches and one in the back doing something else . As soon as I got there all 3 looked at me and then turned away. No one greeted me or said they'd be right with me. Me and my bf came here today around 2pm and got 3 sandwiches. Right when we walked In we were greeted with welcomes and smiles! We've never been there before and they were SO patient with us looking at the menu. Everything was so fresh. You can completely tell the staff there LOVE doing what they do. I wish we took a picture of what we got but we DEVOURED it once we got home. (I got a #7 and my bf got a #9) 10 out of 10 thank you to all the staff at the Alamo location! We asked the girl working the counter for her recommendation and she told us straight up it was her favorite sandwich so of course we gave it a try. I'm thrilled to have a Jersey Mike's closer to my place! It's been a struggle trying to order through DoorDash because the other two locations are way too far from our address. I've already been to this new store five times (sorry, I'm a huge fan of #13 and the Big Kahuna). What really stands out is the friendly staff. They always greet and thank me each time I visit. The store is spotless (even the restroom) and well-stocked (I've had other JM stores run out of regular Lay's Potato Chips). The store seems to be doing really well as it has been super busy each time I have been. Thanks again for making my delicious lunches (and sometimes dinners) read more

It all started back in 1956 in the sea-side town of Point Pleasant, New Jersey and was originally known as Mike's Subs. The original owner, Mike, thrived off the seasonal tourist industry and a small population of year round residents. In 1975, Peter Cancro, only 17 years old at the time, purchased the business with the help of his high school football coach. When the company began franchising in 1987, Peter renamed the business Jersey Mike's Subs. Today, there are 1,500 Jersey Mike's locations open and in development nationwide.
