I recently moved to the area and was pleasantly surprised when a Jersey Mike's coupon came in the mail welcoming to the area. The coupon gave me a free regular sized sub, chips AND a drink all for free. While talking to my friend Alex who is a gold level Yelp reviewer, he recommended I give them a try, which was coincidental having just received the coupon. I went in and was immediately greeted by the friendly employees of this location. I decided to go with the Mike's Famous Philly sub and I had that on the rosemary parmesan bread which the employee recommended. The sub had the perfect amount of meat and cheese. The peppers and onions were fantastic. I think this is the best Philly cheesesteak that you will find in this area. I loved it and I have been to some of the best places in Philly itself. I also really enjoyed the sweet tea which was "Luzianne" brand. I look forward to patronizing this location for years to come and trying other items on their menu as well! Usually get my subs at the Sneads Ferry Jersey Mikes, but today I stopped at this one. Was extremely disappointed! Ordered 2 subs and spent 28$ and the rolls were rock hard. It's upsetting when you pay all that money and get stale rolls. Wanted to bring them back, but due to surgery of my dog and picking him up I couldn't. Won't make this mistake again. read more

So I hate to give a bad review when I think the food is good! My complaint , you can't eat inside there because it is unbearably cold. The last time we ate there I couldn't even eat and enjoy my sandwich. There were construction workers who left and ate in their trucks. I voiced my complaint to a worker. We decided to try again, this time we brought warmer hoodies . When we pulled up there was condensation running down the inside windows, they led us to believe nothing changed. We went inside anyway , you could hang meat there. We left and went elsewhere. Like I said I hate to deminish their stars because for a chain their sandwiches are good. It bothers me that my complaint was not taken seriously. For that I am giving lower stars. If management wants to address my complaint, feel free. As of now we won't be patronizing Jersey Mikes Sneads Ferry. Btw never had this problem in the Surf City one. read more

Food is always great...but they started taking mobile orders and it interferes with those who wait patiently in line. Get rid of the mobile ordering. That's is a horrible idea. I waited Almost 45 minutes for a sub because they kept putting mobile orders in the same line as those who are standing and waiting in the store line. Just awful. read more

I've eaten many places in my lifetime and I always am amazed and excited when I experience service like what you get and the Jersey Mike's in Surf City, NC. The subs can be a bit pricey, but the service more than makes up for it in my opinion. Every time I walk in there, I am always greeted with a friendly "hello, how are you?" So when it is my turn to order my food, I always tell them I have a food allergy. I am extremely allergic to onions (anaphylaxis, i will stop breathing). So they clean the counters, the meat slicer, grab a brand new knife, put the gluten free bread that stays in a plastic wrapper until time to be used on a sheet of paper, and then get out brand new containers of lettuce and tomato. They also get out untouched bottles of whatever seasoning and condiments I want. They make sure that there is no contamination at all. And what's important is they do it with a smile on their face and make me feel like it's not my fault. normally going places, i feel like I'm holding everyone up and start apologizing. At the Jersey Mike's in Surf City, the employees empower their customers to accept their quirks. Every time I start to say I'm sorry, I get told, you shouldn't be sorry for wanting to breathe. The food tastes great. The only two warnings I have are the food can be a bit pricey, and during summer it can be quite chaotic. Surf City is about 15-20 minutes from a military base and is also a beach town where tourists flock to, so come summertime all the restaurants in Surf City can get quite busy. read more

Don't even bother trying to ever do online pick up. Your food will never be ready on time. We keep trying to give these guys the benefit of the doubt and keep trying but Every. Single. Time. We always end up waiting for our food, what's the point of ordering pick up when these kids don't make the food when the order comes in via their app? Frustrating to say the least. The pick up order says 20 min, then you get to stand in the shop for another 20 minutes. read more

I called to place an order and the guy that answered was rude right off the bat. He was very short and made me glad I wasn't in the store to have to deal with him. My husband gets to the store to pick it up and there was no order place. They told us we could have called a different location but I checked and it was the same number. Super highly upset. This is this first yelp review I have ever left but I am legit super upset. Went to Jersey mikes one of the only two I ever go to. Ordered two subs. One giant one regular. One no mushrooms or or onions on the giant and in the regular no mushrooms. What I received was definitely not what I ordered. After arriving home about 20-25 mins later because we live in Hampstead. My fiancé opens his sub to find it loaded with onions. Something this man has never ate since the day I met him. I specifically requested no onions or mushrooms. Here I am calling jerseys mikes to say something and the man refunded the whole thing but that doesn't make up for the dinner my fiancé won't eat. So there is nothing open in our town past 9 o'clock when jerseys mike closes. They would not remake the item only refund it. So what is he supposed to just starve the whole rest of the night because it was so difficult to remake the sub that they messed up. I would have driven the 15 mins back but Hunter said they were closed. Closed or not I didn't order the food wrong they made it wrong. I paid for all of my food to just get told I am refunding the whole order. How does that make up for the food that won't be eaten. I'm seriously upset. It's like they walk you through every sub but if it's a hot sub they just take your directions and don't bother to follow through with anything you have said to them. I work locally at a restaurant near by and that is surely not the way to resolve a messed up order. I wanted to pay for the food. I paid for it. I wouldn't have walked in to order food if I didn't want it. You can give the money back all you want but that doesn't make up for the sandwich that will longer be eaten and is going straight in the garbage. read more

Very Covid friendly. Been there three times order was ready and waiting. I dont love the app for the lack of custom sandwich building but super fresh. I have been back since first time when prep room floor needed a little love but I cut them slack for having recently opened. Favorite so far is bread is 10x better than subway, meats are cut onsite and everything is fresh. Surf City has been missing a Jersey Mikes. Great for lunch or dinner. read more
