The Food was great, the customer service was fantastic, the employees friendly and engaging. The issue I have is the Air conditioning system is NOT functioning properly. It is like a sauna in there, the employees have to use little small fans, but I doubt that does very much. As a customer I could not imagine sitting down and eating inside the store because of how hot it is. I don't know how the employees of this store can handle it for hours on end. I would challenge the franchise owner to visit in the middle of the day and sit in the lobby for at least an hour. I am a weekly customer of this location, if this AC issue is not resolved with haste, I may just have to contact OSHA and submit a formal complaint. read more

Burned again. $14 ordered a regular Italian Cold Cut. I got a Ham sandwich on stale bread. Nice people, but I didn't want a ham sandwich, I wanted a Italian cold cut and not on a stale bun. Back at Jersey Mike's today. Been to this location a few times, time to review. If you read some of my recent reviews, I have been paying attention more to sodium in foods. Let me tell you there is a ton of sodium in everything we eat everyday, everywhere. If you are eating out or even at home, lots of sodium, we love our salt. I have been reading labels more and nutrition at various places when out, so good to try to watch what you can. This location like all Jersey Mike's, the service is fast, the staff is very friendly and always a good experience. The decor is the same as the others here, no surprise there. Today I decided to try a bowl and forgo the bread which can account for a large amount of sodium, although I love the rosemary Parmesan. The meats for the most part can have a lot of sodium as well and some cheeses, pickles, etc. I digress. As I said, I tried the bowl with Roast beef and Swiss as these are the lowest possible options for sodium content. With lettuce of course topped with tomato and onion. Seasoned with oregano and pepper, dressing vinegar and oil. In total should be under 500 mg of sodium, good protein and minimal fat, not bad for a sandwich shop. Although I lover the bread, having it in a bowl style was very good and I think I could get used to not having the bread, it was soo yummy! See my pics for the bowl and try one today. Love to order here online for pick up, sometimes during the lunch rush and they still always have my order ready for me to pick it up on time. #8 and #26 are my go to sandwiches and they always get them correctly to my liking which is much appreciated. We got off the 118 going back to the valley from Camarillo just to have lunch at Cronie's. But alas, Cronies was crowded and didn't have enough servers. Hungry, we decided to find a Jersey Mikes so it was convenient. Kids had the #7 turkey and provolone. I tried the buffalo chicken sandwich which was warm, messy and delicious. Added chips and drinks. We were happy with our choices. We ate in the restaurant and they had a lot of walk-in business despite some renovations going on outside. Workers were friendly. While the food is usually good, these people have no clue how to package their subs in a tub. I have no idea why they think it is okay to tilt these on end to place in the bag...hello people, when you do this the oil and vinegar leaks out into the bag. By the time you get home, you are lucky your food has not fallen through the bag. Now when you get home and set the bag down, you now have an oily mess on your counter to clean up. This has not only happened at this location but also the location on Tapo Canyon. They are probably owned by the same person. The last few times we have called in our to go order, a really rude woman with an accent answer the phone. She's rude, talks over me and when I ask for the name of the sandwich instead of the number of the sandwich she's gets frustrated. She also seems annoyed that I'm placing an order to go. When my husband goes into the store to pick up the order she is also rude. If this woman answers the phone we now call the location on Tapo Street for better customer service. The managers should really take some time and shadow her for a shift to see how rude she is to customers because I'm sure she's losing business for them. read more

They DO NOT honor the promo/coupons that they say they will. Placed my order last night as online would not allow us to place our order. When I called in I SPECIFICALLY asked if they will accept the online promo code (told her what it was) and the young lady said "absolutely, just remind us when you get here". I get there, young lady says "you're the one that just called", "yes, one with the promo code" and they rung the order up. I reminded them of the promo code, was told they cannot accept it. As their codes are numbers only?!? WTH!?!?!? I confirmed before placing my order and before I left. I brought that up to her as the guy on shift was ringing me up. They just said sorry, we only have numbers in our codes. Sandwich was delicious, bread seemed WAY skinner than normal, and THEY FORGOT THE PEPPER RELISH as requested on the phone and at the counter. Needless to say... I got jipped out of a couple bucks, not going to break the bank, but it is the principle of it!!! You say you'll honor it, your giving the code to confirm it will be honored, then told no it cannot be honored?!? Crooks, they may have used the code once I left. Pocketed the $2.00. Felt like having a antipasto tonight. Got the #13 served sub in a tub style and was very happy yet again. Jersey Mike's gives you great taste and at a fair price point. We have yet to get a bad sandwich and now that I'm back at Keto, the sub salads keep things simple and tasty. We order it Mike's way but add bacon and pickles. They have great pickles! I've been coming to this Jersey Mikes for a few years now and never had an issue. I always order the same thing. There's an employee there, an older woman named Maria that has been so rude to me during my last 3 visits. One time, she tried to charge me $3+ for cheese. She ended up removing it from my sandwich because I said I've never paid extra for it before. She just has an attitude when ever I come in. I love the food there and it's near my house that's why I keep coming. But if she's gonna give me attitude when she's making my sandwich, I'd rather go somewhere else. She rolled her eyes at me and pointed to my sandwich when I asked for a little more tomato. Mind you, my other sandwich is plain, no veggies. Plus I don't mind paying for it if it's extra charge, why are you rolling your eyes at me? So rude!!! read more

The time I went in here, everyone looked so stressed. I understand that it's around lunch time but it should be just common courtesy to acknowledge your customers. No one looked happy which shows in your service. Just say hello and we'll be right with you. It makes a huge difference. I was able to write a whole review waiting for my mini sandwich. What makes this even worse was that I ordered through their mobile app. Most choose a mobile app because it's typically the quickest option and geared for those that were looking to save time. Well, not in this case. Their app had indicated that it would be ready at 1:38 PM but I had waited 25 minutes in the store for it to be made. Imagine how deflating it can be to see five walk-ins get their food before you. I may as well have not used the mobile app at all. I'm not one to bash and I hope this gets taken as just constructive criticism but there is something logistically wrong about this location. read more

I love Jersey Mike's sandwiches. My go to sandwiches are the Italian and the veggie. The store in the Vineyards in Porter ranch is fantastic. The rosemary bread is the best I've had out of all of the stores that I've been to. My son called his #13 heaven. LOL. And my wife, who is not a sandwich person, loved the famous Philly. This place is beyond unprofessional. I called and asked if I could have a sandwich made if I arrived at 8:57, since my Waze indicated that that would be my arrival time. The girl that I spoke to conferred with someone in the back, and said that it would be fine. When I arrived, the assistant manager, who identified himself as "Mathew", (but wouldn't provide any I.D.) said that they were closed. I literally showed him my cell phone, which now said 8:58 because they took so long to come to the door, and he STILL told me that it was 9:00. He could not provide an explanation as to why I was given misinformation, but I'm pretty sure that they just wanted to go home early.
