I was in St Louis for work, and I wanted a real, local joint and not a chain…read more WOW, did I choose well. First of all, I knew I was doing well because of the traffic coming in and out while I waited (ever so briefly) for a table. I wanted that delicious St. Louis style pizza, and Liliana's delivered on my expectations. The cheese was perfect, the toppings exactly as I would hope, and it did not hurt that I had some leftovers. I also ordered a Caesar salad and a House red. So many places under-deliver on Caesar salads these days that I tend to be cautious when ordering. This one was delicious. It hit all the high notes. As for the ambiance, the dining room could've walked right out of the 70s, plopped itself down in 2026, and manage not to look out of place. Service was spot-on, the food did not take too long, and I thoroughly enjoyed my evening. Next trip tom St. Louis, I'm stopping here again!

Went for lunch with my sister and brother in law and left stuffed with a big ol to go bag too!…read more I had the lasagna, my sister had the baked rigatoni with the world's largest meatballs, brother in law had the Tony sandwich and we all loved our meals. The location was chosen because it was a good midpoint for us, a friend in the neighborhood recommended it. Really appreciate it as it is a fairly nondescript outside and in a shopping center. Inside it was pretty dark despite it being a sunny day.... There is a total vibe Service was good and efficient.

Super busy spot! Stopped in and opted to sit at the bar instead of waiting for a table…read more Staff behind the bar were so friendly! they were working their tails off but keeping a good attitude along the way. We got water and tea, didn't order drinks but that didn't change their service, I think we had three different servers/bartenders and they were all great. Order the wings! They won the Wing Ding last year with their Honey Habanero BBQ grilled wings. We liked them at the Wing Ding and we loved them here. Just the right amount of kick and grilled perfectly. I would order these every time. I didn't want a large meal so decided to go with a side garden salad and House Honey Fish appetizer. The salad was good, lettuces, shredded carrot, onion, tomato, and croutons. I got no cheeses and went with house Italian. It was fresh, the croutons good and enough so that I took half for lunch the following day. The House Honey Fish was fried fish on top of chimichurri slaw topped with a Hot Honey drizzle. It was very good, the crunch of the slaw, and the fish was really good. I would probably leave off the Hot Honey next time, only because I don't like too much sweet. Hubby got Cajun chicken pasta and he enjoyed it. Busy spot but the staff seem to care about thier service and about each other.

I was totally disappointed this evening…read more NoWhere restaurant has signs all over the area and neighborhoods touting the Fried Chicken. Being Sunday my wife and I decided to eat there. It was approximately 8pm when we were finally served the Fried Chicken. Having been a cook in a restaurant I knew as soon as it arrived how it was going to taste. When you eat late like that you get what you get as far as fried chicken goes. This chicken was not "golden" as well prepared fried is. It was nasty tasting. Thinking I was too critical I had my wife try it and she couldn't eat the piece of crust that I gave her. The coating was a dark, dark brown. The mashed potatoes and beans were good. Moral of the story is eat earlier in the day if you are going to try the fried chicken. I will.

I could muster an unoriginal joke regarding the how big of a mouth you need for a big mouth…read moresandwich. Consider yourself spared. I shall jump straight to the good stuff: the sandwiches. Listen, st louis has no shortage of sandwich shops, so to be successful you need to offer a unique enough product that is still approachable, and reliable. Big mouth has mastered the game. The menu is inundated with options inspired by tried and true classics. However, they do not stop there. Each sandwich is inventive enough to create some separation from it's origin. This keeps the experimenters happy, while also catering to the more tame of tastebuds. I went prosciutto. It was incredible. Thin pear, whipped ricotta, pesto, and that salty, thin prosciutto. Every bite gave me a little something different. Some bite had a big crunch full of juicy pear accentuated by the tang of balsamic. Others had a bit of sweetness from the sugars released in the pear juice and caught by the vibrant pesto. Some bite were buttery, with the help of the prosciutto sliced thin enough to read all of the perennial accolades adorning the back wall. The focaccia is art. A dark crust, one you do not see on focaccia. With mega flakes of sea salt. It was fresh out the toaster so as i gripped my sandwich warmth was sent from the tips of my fingers throughout my body as every bite delivered a crunch i am certain the folks dining outside could hear. A legit option in a city with limitless options when it comes to meat between bread

The sandwich was incredible in every way from the super piled on ingredients to the fluffy crisp bread. It's all tucked inside of a loft apartment building so the view of this place is sort of hidden. (In a good way.) Sort of feels like you've jumped from south city into a private beer club with great sandwiches. The outside seating is nice too. Would be a great place to bring some upper scale friends. Nothing here is cheap, so please don't come if you're expecting cheap! I highly recommend it.
