Maybe it's just me, but I've been seeing the Chicken Salad subs all over social media. I love a good chicken salad and I love a sub so I had to try it! This Jersey Mike's was right around the corner after a nearby doc appt so I headed in. The lobby was clean and I was greeted immediately upon walking in. The girl who was working was really nice and she got me taken care of quickly. She got my sandwich made and I was out the door in less than five minutes. I took the sub home to enjoy and it was packed up well and held great for the 20 minute drive home. The price was fair as well for the quality and amount of food you get. The chicken salad itself is good! I don't think I quite understand why the sandwich as gone viral because their Italian is WAY better, but it was still tasty! As usual, their ingredients tasted super fresh and gotta love it Mike's Way! Pretty good overall and would come back to this location when I'm in the area. read more

I just met the new manager for the Lakewood store at the Puyallup store. Heather's energy and vibe made my experience at the Puyallup amazing!!! The wife wanted subs today, and baby gets what baby wants!!!! This specific location was awesome! The staff was super friendly and very prompt and professional! The main cook even cracked a few jokes and lightened the mood! Everything was well stocked and clean! When my wife told them that the drink of her choice was out they accommodated her with a bottled soda at no extra cost! They went above and beyond for us today and our experience was definitely memorable. Also, the main guy who made our experience memorable was Julian!!!! Won't be ordering from this specific jersey mikes anymore. I ordered on DoorDash and it said my order was being prepared, yet my dasher sat outside for this order for over 20 minutes that they just left and a new one came to grab it and they didn't have any luck. So of course my first thought it to call Jersey mikes and see what's the hold up but I was met with no answer so I called 3 more times and still no answer! This Jersey Mikes has been disappointing since day one. The prices rise and the content on the sandwiches is less and less. Try the one at the bottom of Shaw Rd. if you want to get closer to what you are paying for. I can't believe how skimpy the sandwich was after being prepared. I have vowed to avoid this disappointment anymore and just go to a Jersey Mike's that can make a sandwich with some ingredients on it. Do not stop in and waste your time at this business. I thought I could get in and out quickly after work, but spent over 20 minutes waiting on just one of our sandwiches. They finished the cold one right after I'd ordered it, and then took 20 minutes to make a single hot sandwich because they cannot be bothered to focus on mobile and in store orders in the same capacity. Nice clean location with really pleasant people working their. I cannot eat their wonderful bread as it is not allowed on my diet, so I get it in a salad and it is delicious. Only reason I'll ever come to this location again would be for the MAN Sedrick ! Every time I've come in I've gotten attitude from employees, mainly the woman. The masks don't make it easy to hear, i get it, but want to make sure my orders correct. Which somehow every time it's messed up, then leads to employees getting frustrated, & commentary mumbled about customer, me or my boyfriend. Sedrick has stepped in several times to defuse the situation, even telling worked up employees multiple times to calm down. So I'm going to cheat and use the same review for the Jersey Mike's across from the mall in Puyallup and the Jersey Mike's in Sunrise Village. I've been to them both a couple of times and have gotten the same things. :) We don't have Jersey Mike's back in the Midwest (at least not when I lived there) and I was interested to give it a try. I will say it's a bit more expensive than Subway, but the quality is SOOOOOO much better. We've gotten the Philly, Rueben, and Buffalo Chicken Wrap. All VERY good - Fresh ingredients, stuffed sandwiches, and WELL worth the price. A bit of a warning though - If you're trying to eat somewhat healthy, Subway is the way to go. :) I got the Buffalo Chicken Wrap with grilled chicken in an effort to try to stay healthy, but that wrap is HORRIBLE calorie wise. I've never tried Jersey Mikes before but a coupon popped up on FB for a free regular with purchase of a regular and that's a good deal. Plus I'm fighting cancer right now so a lot of foods don't taste very good and not a whole lot sounds good but a sub sounded great. This location is near the South Hill Mall and about 20 mins from me so it's no small hike but I was determined to try it. There were a few people ahead of me in line so there was a wait but the staff was working very efficiently. Two young girls and a young guy (I think he was a ginger but he definitely seemed to have a soul) behind the counter working hard but even so the dude behind me had an attitude and was mumbling under his breath. Give it a rest old dude- or go home and make your own effin sammich. I really hate it when grumpy humans harsh my mellow. We ordered a #9, #13, and #56. All regular size with the cold sandwiches Mikes way and juice on the side to avoid the soggies. We were very happy the subs. Good bread, good toppings, everything fresh and filing and even a bit left over for lunch tomorrow. The only non-positive thing I have to say is that I didn't like the taste of the bacon on the club but that could totally be all me because #1 I'm just not as much of a bacon fan as most people and #2 chemo tastebuds. Staff was very friendly and following COVID guidelines to a T, the place was clean even though they were busy. I will definitely come back. Also, people- I know the world is a dumpster fire right now and life is hard for a lot of us but it costs nothing to be friendly and to say "thank you" and "have a good evening". I ordered online & showed up to pick it up, desperately needing to use the restroom only to be yelled at from an employee that the restroom is closed. I understand that dining is not allowed due to the pandemic, but now you can't go pee! To add insult to injury, I ordered two fountain drinks & got to the car to find I just received soda and the syrup was out! I have to eat gluten free & they offer gluten free bread. The bread was much better than subways and they give you a ton of toppings compared to subways sandwiches. I will try them again. Decided to give this place a try today for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall atmosphere when I walked despite being in a cramped shopping area. Their menu is easy to read and understand even for the first time visitor and the offer a selection that should appeal to every taste. I decided to have the roast beef and provalone "Mikes Way" less the tomatoes. The meet and cheese was sliced in front of me and placed on my sandwich (talk about fresh) and all of the condiments were fresh as well. I love that they serve Pepsi products here. I gave it one extra star for that alone. They are a little slower than normal because they have to cut your food rather than pull it from a bin like other places but it is very much worth the wait and the couple extra dollars spent. Not the best customer service. The girl with the braces, I'm not sure of her name since nobody was wearing name tags, made my visit somehow awkward and confusing.
