Leaving this for the owner -- if you saw your shop today, you'd be shocked. The process was so painfully slow and inefficient, it looked like a joke. People waited over a two hours for a sub, and not one employee looked like they had any urgency or pride in their work. Honestly, I couldn't tell if they were just completely out of it or didn't care. If you want to save your business, start with hiring a new team. Dozens of unhappy people and dozens of people walked out. A shame. read more

We were able to order each sandwich to our specifications and the staff prepared everything exactly as requested. Paid in advance and ready when we arrived. Worst experience I've had at a Jersey mikes location... I had a pick up Order at 10:15 they didn't open the doors till 10:20. I stood outside the door for 10 minutes before they even opened it as they were looking at me through the windows. They were supposed to open at 10am. When they did open the doors the manager was rude, and my order wasn't even ready and the store wasn't even fully opened. Long and behold I didn't get my order till 10:40. If you're thinking about going to this location I suggest to go to the Publix or the Subway to get a sandwhich instead. read more

Jersey Mike's Subs is one of our favorite stops for a quick and delicious meal, so when we were here in Orange Beach, we were excited to discover there was a location near us. It was a pleasant surprise when we learned today was their grand opening. This store lived up to our expectations, following the Jersey Mike's motto of being "a sub above". The location is great, walking distance from the beach and a bunch of condos and hotels. It is in a shopping center with a Publix grocery store and a few other restaurants and shops. There is plenty of room to park. This location of Jersey Mike's was well staffed and the employees to great care of us. read more

My girlfriend has been talking about this place since I moved back to Florida. Telling me I have to try it. Gotta say, definitely not disappointed a single bit. I got the Buffalo Chicken. Byrd was working, and he's such an awesome guy. He asked how spicy I wanted it, and I told him I was from New Orleans, as my answer. Food was barely average...service wasn't even that good. Overpriced for what we received. We just wanted a sandwich meal to go home and eat as we were in the middle of football games on a Saturday. I placed my order at 12:30, it was supposed to be ready by 12:45. When I walked in, I could see my bag on the counter. No one would speak to any of us waiting. I finally stepped up and got the guys attention and he looked in my bag. He said they were still working on two of my sandwiches. I sat and waited until 1:15 and my food was finally ready. Employees were not friendly nor helpful. The guy who handed me my order was kind but no one else acknowledged me. Everything seemed to be moving very slow and online orders were not worked in like they should have been. The only thing saving them a 1 star was that the food was good. We love Jersey Mike's and was so happy to see one in Orange Beach. Stopped in for lunch or second day here. The food was phenomenal as always, however, the attitude of the staff was terrible. I don't know if it was because of a dreary day, but I can tell you I've seen more smiling faces at the other JM restaurants than this. Another thing my husband was eating his sandwich before they ever started mine. The guy running the grill disappeared and the young man making sandwiches and running the register hurried over to start on mine. Like I said may have been an off day. read more

Visited JM in OBA for first time and enjoyed my tuna sub, but did not enjoy the glum attitudes by the two workers. No greetings or Thank You by staff. Looked like they hated their job. Shout out to the young boy & young lady both with black hair who saw my black husband & our family in line and completely disregarded him and myself as a human being. Moved on to the family behind us in line when the store was not busy at all and we were the only family in there before the family behind us walked in.....which made a total of 2 families. So, don't try to say it's because they didn't know we were next....Then proceeded to be rude and disrespectful while we were ordering after we had to make ourselves known to the 2 kids in there as if we were invisible. We eventually just walked out the door. And thank you so much for displaying such racist attitudes in front of our children who were asking why they were treating their daddy like they didn't see him. We eat here at least twice a week and this is the first time we have encountered these 2 young new hires and it is also the last time we will ever be back.
