Cold subs are my passion, they are my weakness. I had literal mafia family who owned a butcher and "grinder" shop in Connecticut and I'd visit them as an 8 yr old to which they would stuff me full of food. This was the start of my love affair that still runs hot today. Excluding mom and pop restaurants Jersey Mikes is by far the best of all chain restaurants. Jersey Mikes located off of Dorchester maintains the status quo for the franchise in a safe and easily accessed area in a clean restaurant. I admit, I'm a cold sub fiend and you can keep the hot subs (sorry Philly). I've literally had every one of their subs but I hold true to the original Italian. Every time I get mine, it's literally a salad on bread. A little bit of onion, lots of lettuce, tomatoes, a couple pickles, 2 japs, S&P, Oregano, lots of mayo, lots of oil, a bit of vinegar but I wish they had olives..... Mine is perfection, brought on by my countless visits and endless tinkering. Good thing I don't work there! (oh wait, I did work for Subway in high school via the 90s) I got my stepfather the "Famous Philly" and he loved it. He said the meat was seasoned and not chewy while he loved the peppers and onions. Moreover, he appreciated the fact the cheese was melted into it, not thrown on top (I'm not sure if all the stores do this as I hate Philly subs). My mom, well her opinion is she's a very annoying and picky eater so I'm declining to mention what she said as it's unimportant. In summary, the store is very clean and safe, while the staff are very nice. Admittedly if you've been to one Jersey Mike's you've basically been to them all. So, I'm basically here saying the say thing as a repeated record as I've lived all over the place and travel frequently. This store is on par with all other locations so shop in confidence you'll get the best sub around! read more

The staff are always welcoming when I enter regardless of how busy it is in there. When it is busy, the line moves very efficient. My go to would be the Philly cheesesteak, absolutely delicious. The restaurant is clean. read more

When I was working from home a year ago, I used to find myself grabbing a sub from here more often than I do now. It's right up the road and in the strip mall with the Harris Tetter. So convenient when I was a cold sub and didn't want to make it myself. My go to is a a mini ham with white American cheese, lettuce, banana peppers, Mayo, a little vinegar, salt and pepper and if the tomatoes look good, I'll ask for a couple of them too. Since I get the sandwich only (no chips or soda for me) it only cost $5 or $6. Score!!! read more

A little bit pricey but it's actually worth it at the end of the day you do you get what you pay for and they have amazing customer service the guys really know their sandwiches is a Phillies is by far the best item on their menu! I do like the fact that they have signs before you come in stating that a mask is required in order to get full service or any service at all that is extremely refreshing to see from a chain as most chains don't even do that at this point! The Philly cheesesteak sandwich has a lot of diversity to it a lot of taste you can customize it to your liking you can get anything that you would like on it I suggest you just keep a very simple and extremely basic as the sandwich really does pack a punch their meat is re-season to taste the bell peppers give it that nice little kick of taste it is absolutely one of the best sandwiches they I have tried pretty much every sandwich but this one really does stand out. If you decide to eat inside the restaurant is always clean they do have 6 feet apart sitting and you can sit with a party of four and a table but that is the maximum capacity at this point from what I have been able to view inside of the restaurant! Order a sub at this location and bread was rock hard. Haven't ate all day. Called to get it resolved but Emily the manager had a nasty attitude saying she does not want to hear any explanation she just wants to know what the problem is. I visited this location on 10/27/22 to pick up an online order. It wasn't quite ready yet but I was greeted right away and asked my name and the employee reassured me that they were working on it. While I waited I noticed how every single employee was working their butts off. They were all hustling and flowing like a well-oiled machine and I didn't have a worry in the world while I waited because I could tell that they were working hard and I knew I'd be taken care of. Not only was I taken care of, but the food was better than ever before and it looked beautiful. I can tell that the staff really take pride in what they do and I greatly appreciate it! Placed an order on the 12th we ran the food by the house went to parent teacher conference and had a couple other errands to run by the time we get home we realize that the sandwiches that we ordered were not correct I called in and spoke to someone who claimed to be the manager And they told me that since it was so close to closing to call back tomorrow. However, I didn't call back the next day instead I called today on the 14th which is two days later spoke with Emily. She told me that she would redo the sandwiches. No problem and I told her I'd probably be an hour or two before we would come pick them up because we had some things to take care of first, so when I called back in to let them know, it was OK to make sandwiches. A guy answers the phone and another on the phone explaining to me that Emily was in the bathroom while this lady comes to the phone and she tells me that she cannot do the order because someone by the name of sky or Kai was working that night and nothing like that happens well first of all it didn't happen in the store. It happened over the phone so I don't know how the guy would even know what happened she told me she wasn't making the order unless I could share proof that the order was made, and paid for, tell her to go ahead and proceed make the sandwiches I would pay cash and I sent my husband up there. I could literally hear my husband in the background when he arrived and the guy with last name Nelson was going through the paperwork he said he could not find, anything showing that we ordered that we ordered hot subs but the only thing one of the other workers remembered was cold subs OK well if it's a ham sandwich and then Italian sandwich that would be a cold sub so they were looking for hot subs I have no idea so basically he told me there was nothing I could do to remember what the receipt was so I called up there to inform him I had found the receipt and he answers the phone in front of my husband, and says guess who it is again as if it's some kind of joke, and I don't appreciate it whatsoever explain to him that I had the receipt it has the time to date. I haven't gave him the ticket number and he says because it's already been two days there's nothing he can do about it so I don't understand what changed from when Emily could do something about it when I told her it was Tuesday or Wednesday because it wasn't certain of the day, but now that I have the actual day no nothing can be done. I informed him that I would be calling corporate and that is my intentions and I will be doing so because I don't like being mimicked I feel like the way I was treated was uncalled for and then had more money for something I shouldn't of had to it had they got the order correct to begin with we go there sometimes 2 to 3 times a week and as my husband walked in the door. I heard one of the female voice is saying your back again which tells me she recognizes him yet nothing can be done so I will save my little receipt and I'll be making my phone call first thing Monday morning. Up until now my experiences with this location have been alright except for a particular manager. She is always short with customers. The rest of the crew are usually very friendly and get my order done very efficiently. Meanwhile she's standing at the register with a sour look on her face. She's even short and discourteous to her coworkers. Because of this we usually bypass this location and head to the one on rivers ave. Last night we were short on time and my bf wanted their subs. I'll admit we got there around 840 and they close at nine but there were people in there seated and eating. Also, they're making a sub, not cooking a three course meal. It shouldn't have taken as long as it did. The manager with the attitude problem (pretty sure her name is Brittany) was working. One of our subs was a hot sub and apparently she took it upon herself to make it. She made the completely wrong sandwich! When we got to paying they seemed confused and that's when we realized their error. They attempt to redo the sub and STILL get it wrong. We just took it and left because we didn't want to wait any longer. Brittany quickly slammed the door behind us. We would have been gone long before hand if they hadn't of screwed up from rushing in the first place. That was the last chance I'll give this place. read more

My wife and I like to come here often. Especially since she became pregnant and craves the turkey sandwich with provolone sand cold cut turkeys therefore I get all her extra turkey and we share a giant sub. It is a little bit pricey compared to subway but their bread is always fresh and the meats are thinly cut and stacked on there it's very refreshing. We always get it mikes way with mayo which is lettuce, tomato, onion, oil, vinegar and seasoning. A convenient place to come to and the workers are always so friendly. This is an okay location for JM's. I usually go to the one on Rivers Ave but happened to be next door shopping when I got hungry. This location is weird. I absolutely love getting a jersey mikes sub! It is my new guilty pleasure! They slice the meat and cheese fresh for you every time. I can only review the turkey provolone sandwich because that is the only thing I get. The turkey is cut nice and thin just the way I like it. There isn't a strong turkey flavor to the turkey (I'm particular about meat this way). There isn't that weird chunk of fatty tissue or cartilage that you can find in grocery store pre packed turkey lunch meat containers. The bread is always nice and soft. I always get it mikes way with mayo. The best way to eat a turkey sandwich I find. And I always buy a giant just so I can have left overs the next day. This location is convenient and the workers always seem happy. I am a definite fan! read more

I enjoy a good sub just like anyone else but jersey mikes can a bit on the pricy side. I ordered a giant(that's what they call their foot longs ) philly, a giant club sub, and a regular ham &cheese. I love that they slice their meats and cheeses at the time of your order. That's the key thing for a good sub shop. Also whatever so if you get definitely get the cherry pepper relish with it. That stuff is incredible I wish that they would bottle it and sell it in the stores. read more

Walked into the store today with a large order. Line was almost to the front door. I was discouraged b/c I was in somewhat of a hurry. But it did not take long for me to change my attitude. The employees were ALL working quickly and were ALL friendly and handled every customer with super customer service skills. They could not have worked any faster or harder. Great great job everyone! Jersey Mike's is the best chain sandwich shop with an Italian sub like the real deal from the eastern shore. Consistently good, so we go there every few weeks to pick up dinner for the family. We've lived in several cities around the country and have always been Jersey Mike's customers, but I feel compelled to write this review because the young people who work at this store are just so darn nice. It feels like the royal treatment to have someone look me in the eye, speak clearly, and be friendly when they're taking my order and my money. Every time we leave this location, we remark on how well-mannered the staff is. Certainly worthy of letting others know. I promise we aren't old folks, either--we're just so used to mediocre service at other places that it's a pleasure to patronize a remarkably friendly establishment.
