The subs are good, like all JM locations...but when an establishment, especially one that is not just a 'mom and pop' kind of place, overcharges customers over an extended period of time, that is a major problem. By this I mean that the register/computer charges more than the displayed menu prices. This happened to me several times over a period of 6 weeks. walked in and there were no costumers, the employees looked at me like I was bothering by walking in, they just stared at me. I greeted them and they ignored me fine, I placed my order and because I didn't ask for a #3 I got an attitude from the man making my sandwich. The girl at the register asked if I wanted the chips and drink and he interrupted her by saying that the machine was messed up. Stopped in for curbside pick up. The staff was friendly and the establishment is compliant with social distancing. I picked up three subs and they were made with love! The chicken Philly was a favorite and for the price and portions, it is well worth it. My sub lovers, the meat is deli sliced before you and they make sure there is some in every bite. I have been going here for about a year, since I work from home much more often now. Sandwiches are edible in a pinch, but they offer online ordering and quick pickup, so when I am pressed for time, I sometimes order here. You order and pay in advance [including tip] and they give you a time usually about 20 minutes, and you run-in to pickup and run-out. I live about 10 minutes away and I usually leave my house at the time they say it will be ready because I do not want to arrive before they have it ready. During the last several months, I have had several times when my order is not ready when I arrive [10-15 minutes after I was told to arrive, 30-35 minutes after i order]. On my last visit, I was really pressed for time, so I asked if my food was ready. The employees would not answer me, they spoke to one another and almost completely ignored me until I asked for like the 3rd time. This completely ruins this place for me. It's like $30 for 2 mediocre [read: beneath minimum stands] subs, I can just go to the grocery store and buy some bread and cold cuts and not have to deal with your nasty servers. read more

I mean it literally has step by step what to put on the sandwich and almost every time it's a sloppy mess of wrong ingredients, you reach out to corporate they don't even acknowledge. You ask where your sandwich is after thirty minutes people just stare..couple that with the slightly odd sanitary and cross contamination of leaving sandwiches on a non food grade counter and you got an awkward situation. What the actual fuck is going on at this location. It took them 40 minutes to make 3 sandwiches and we stood there while they argued about wether or not the bread was upside down. I've never been so uncomfortable in my life. One of the guys made our sandwich incorrectly which he said was because the bread was upside down and he got confused so he said he would throw it away BUT instead of throwing the sandwich he wiped the meat off the bread mad man handled for several minutes before putting it in the trash leaving soggy bread with banana peppers and mayo on it which he STILL USED. My sandwich comes with bacon he didn't put any so I asked for some which he then dropped on the floor causing an argument about the correct to hold a sandwich. I've been to the one in Northvale and went to Nanuet tonight and was disappointed. My boyfriend and I were the only customers in the store. I ordered the #8 without Cheese and my sandwich didn't have the Bacon or Mayo that was supposed to come with it. I've been to the Northvale location mutliple times without any issues. read more

Me and my boyfriend order from here a lot. Several times the staff have messed up, or forgotten to prepare our orders. I mostly only order the Philly cheese steaks whenever I come here. Especially one w/o onions and peppers the other with everything on it. Who ever I spoke to acted like he was occupied, I told him 4 times no onions and peppers. After I told him that, he paused again, and asked if I wanted cheese. I said "Yes but one of the sandwiches with Noooo onions and peppers please!!" and sadly when we open the sandwich it had onions and peppers that I didn't ask for. I would give zero stars if I could. This store is staffed by complete idiots. They take an online order, then tell us when we get to the store that they have no bread but will have it in 20 minutes. When I go back in 20 minutes they pretend they they've forgotten about the 20 minute promise, and it will be another 30 mins for bread. I found a place I can get a sandwich because they have Udi's Gluten Free bread!! But they definitely surpassed ALL expectations I had for my for visit!! Once I said I was gluten free, the gentleman changed his gloves, wiped down the counter, removed all other bread, wiped down the meat slicer and got a new knife to make my sandwich with. He did all this based on my being gluten free to ensure there was no cross contamination. I am estatic with my first experience with this sub shop and will definitely be going back!! read more
