I'm going to give my review based on my visits as a whole. Not this sandwich. Like I stared, it wasn't bad. It just wasn't quite hot enough. The cheese wasn't melted. The sauce was room temperature. We also got pasta salad that was overly drenched in dressing. Typically my go to orders are an Italian or a corned beef sandwich which they knock out of the park here. The staff is excellent and friendly. They get food done quickly with fresh ingredients, made to order and nothing typically goes wrong. Some reviews state negative comments regarding the bread. I personally love the rolls. A softer roll and a hoagie don't mix. I highly recommend Sugar Hill Subs. Just maybe not the meatball sandwich. And let it be done they only have port o john in the parking lot. No restrooms.

The food here isn't awful, but with so many better choices for sandwiches in the area it's hard to…read moregive it above 3 stars. Went with "The Regular" Italian sub and it was truly just alright. The bread is a bit doughy, the meat is layered in a way that it slips out of the sandwich and the provolone wasn't as sharp as I would have liked. With all that said, it was still plenty edible and fine in a pinch. The restaurant was pretty empty during lunch hour on a weekday, but they seemed to be pumping out a decent amount of catering trays. Service is friendly, the dining room is comfortable enough for a sub shop, I just didn't love my food.

The food is good on average and excellent at times. Im a fan of the vodka sauce they use. And thier blackened chicken Caesar Salad was above average on the sald front. (Althouh spicy so make sure you like a little spice) thier broccoli rab chicken cuttlet on seeded roll was another big hit. It has long hots on it so again make sure you like spicy or make sure you get them taken off. Again if your in egg harbor and loving for a solid meal in a nice cozy place thos place shouldn't disappoint.

We were a family dining with four kids ranging from 1-7 years old. It was empty in the restaurant,…read morethe kids were getting ansy and the baby started to cry by the end of the meal. The owner came out of the kitchen just to tell us to quiet down and get the kids to sit down in an extremely rude tone. My kids were at no means running around the whole restaurant being insane. They were standing up next to their chair, but they were not going crazy. I took my middle son to the bathroom and over heard the owner and another staff member talking about my kids. Mike the waiter was so nice on the other hand. He noticed immediately after that it upset me, and comforted me. This is NOT a family friendly place. Do not go if you expect to feel welcomed. There is way better food and atmosphere at other local spots.
