We went to Jersey Mike's for take out. My daughter, who can't eat beef ordered a Chipotle Chicken Sandwich. When we got home, we discovered that they had given her something beef instead. I tried calling the number on the receipt only to get a very generic "Leave a message" recording - nothing that identified it as the store. So we drove back to the store and explained the situation. We said, "And we would like a free sandwich or something to make up for the gas we used having to come back. The girl shrugged her shoulders and said, "I can't do that. All I can do is give you the other sandwich." We asked to see the manager and she replied, "I am the manager." We asked to see the owner and were told, "The owner is going to tell you the same thing I'm telling you." The lack of customer service was appalling. We will not be eating there again and will be telling everyone we know not to eat there either. The overall attitude was "We messed up and really couldn't care less about it." So for the price of another sandwich or a free cookie or some small gesture that said, "We're so sorry, here, let us make it up to you." they have instead purchased a bad review and a negative word of mouth campaign. read more

I am a transplant to Lincoln from Boston, MA. I would go to Jersey Mike's in West Roxbury, MA, phenominal! Lo and behold, I am going down O Street with my grandkids, both ravenous teenager's that had never had a Jersey Mike's sub before. A quick right turn into the parking lot and it's off to the races. I told them to order by the number. For once, they read the menu quickly and I rounded up their numbers, and away we go. We got "Regulars", I warned them about the Large! My points carried over from Boston, two of the subs were free as I had never cashed them in in WR. They watched (stared) at their sandwiches were prepared, from the cuts, to the add-on's and when we got out of the door and back into the car, they had both started on their subs, and said "WOW" in unison. It doesnt' get better than that! Great job all the way around, I highly reccomend Jersey Mike's (as I am now the "Best Grand-dad ever"). Enjoy! read more

Jersey mikes lost a customer today... They asked me if I wanted it Mikes way and I said yes without tomatoes or onions. Then they threw their hands up to make me feel stupid and said that's what mikes way is. Mikes way has more then just veggies on it smh. read more

So we walked in, zero greeting, they just looked at us. They finally asked what we wanted and my husband ordered a hot sandwich, I mean I think her eyes may still be in the back of her head from that eye roll but she was not happy. (May want to work somewhere where half the sandwiches aren't hot). Anyway, I ordered a cold sandwich thinking hey, maybe this will make her less miserable. Nope, still sulked. We just wanted to get out because any request was too much. Really bad vibes and just super unfriendly. Felt unwelcome. read more

Best bread for sub sandwiches and lots of filling! These sandwiches are built with care. They stay together and can be eaten without dropping ingredients all over. Always ready on time for pick-up. read more

They make the greatest Subs ever. I liked it the First step I made in the door of that business. Excellent service.

Worst service I've ever had in my life. I've work in the service industry for 11 years. Never once have I dealt with such childish and inappropriate behavior. The girl taking my order asked me " Can I just go home" with a look of disgust on her face. For some reason the other young girl working the grill felt like she needed to announce that she had a sweat mustache to the whole restaurant. Seemed like the gentleman working was very new and the only one that was acting professional and seemed embarrassed himself. Needless to say I'll never be visiting this location again. Come to find out the woman that was behaving like a child was a manager. read more

I requested no onions on a catering box due to food allergies. There was also no mayo on the sandwiches and they didn't include any in the box, nor napkins. When I called to let them know they offered to sell me another box at the same price. They don't deliver so I would have to pick it up. That's not good customer service. Zero effort for a resolution. I'm going with Goodcents from now on. The food is better and they don't treat their customers like an inconvenience. read more

Great sandwiches. Staff is good. Food is much better than Subway. Rosemary bread is wonderful

Love Jersey Mikes, great spot if your in the mood for a classic sub. Fast service with fresh ingredients. I usually get the a Italian or if I'm in the mood for a hot sub you can go wrong with a cheese stake. Perfect spot for a quick to go lunch order. read more

Although Jersey Mike's is good this location has one of the worst customer services. 4 people working at counter and still takes 20 minutes for me to get one sandwich. Both times I have been here there were no greetings and extremely slow! read more

Tried the Classic Italian, "Mike's way". The sandwich was very good, exactly what an east coast style Italian should be. I would not personally recommend the way they slice the regular in half (makes a little sloppy for trying to eat while driving, as many people have to do so often Also, I did not receive any napkins. I didn't ask for any but I did tell them I was taking it to go so I could eat on the road. I think they should automatically include napkins in the bag for an order like that. Probably being petty but it was really annoying and that would make them "a sub above" read more

I love this product and this location is way better than their south location but there has been a crew change and worry that the quality is going to drop as my by order today has definitely changed - far less meat on the sandwiches than usual. read more

Stopped in today for lunch, the subs were great and the staff was friendly. The bad news is that there was no ice in their ice machine, there was mold/residue build up on the plastic ice chute, and they clearly don't disassemble or wash their tips on the soda dispensers every night as they should. My co-worker has the "iced" tea and she took one sip and spit it out saying it tasted like "sewer water". Again, the food was good, the kitchen area looked clean but more attention definitely needs to be paid to the drink station. Totally off putting. Side note: another customer noted that it was very hot inside the store and the employee remarked that the AC had been out a while, but seemed to be doing his best not to complain about what is obviously a crappy situation. If it was hot on our side I can only imagine making sandwiches in front of the grill for 6 hours with no AC. read more

First visit to Jersey Mike's. Wife and I had gotten a 2-for-1 coupon in the mail so we figured we'd give it a shot. This location is pretty much brand new, so I think we had the owner/manager(s) working the counter at dinner time. They knew what they were doing, and were pretty personable, as you'd expect. I ordered a Club Supreme (roast beef, turkey and bacon) and the wife got a tuna, both regular sized, both on white bread. They only offer white and wheat for bread choices, which I suppose fits with their "classic style" approach. I was a little surprised to see not all that much in the way of toppings on offer. That's fine by me; sometimes, as they say, "less is more". When topping time came for my wife's sandwich, she agreed to "Mike's Way" which---if I remember correctly---is lettuce, tomato, onion, oil, vinegar and herbs. I was going to go that route also for my first experience, but when I saw the amount of oil and vinegar that the woman was applying to the wife's sandwich, I quickly decided to pass on the oil. It was really doused on heavily, and if there's one thing that ruins a sub for me, it's having it be sloppy and/or soggy. That and well....I don't know what several tablespoons of what I was pretty sure was just plain vegetable oil adds to the experience, other than...oiliness. My sandwich already had mayo, cheese and bacon on it, so..... As far as the ingredients, I don't doubt Jersey Mikes' claim that they only use top-quality/premium brands. Everything was clearly fresh, the roast beef was moist and tender, they sliced the cheese on the spot, etc. Again, what you'd expect in a newly-opened place, but I'd bet that it's the norm. I also appreciated the pricing, which seems quite fair for the quality of the ingredients and the size of the sandwich. $6.50 or so was perfectly reasonable. So what about the bottom line? I feel like every chain sub sandwich place has decent (and roughly the same) ingredients so for me, it all comes down to personal preference on the bread. After we'd sat down and had a few bites my comment to my wife was "Still a Jimmy John's guy". She agreed. Jersey Mike's bread (while I'm sure fresh and baked on-site, as they claim) seems to lean more toward a Subway type of texture, whereas I prefer the chewier (I believe, more authentic) French bread of Jimmy John's. Truthfully I'd like to give Jersey Mike's 3.5 stars. It's better than 3, but not quite a 4. If you're a big sub sandwich fan, I have no problem recommending it. I'd certainly stop back if I were nearby and needed a quick lunch or something...but I probably wouldn't go out of my way. read more

Had a really pleasant experience! The guy who made my sandwich went to fill his drink in the dining room after and stopped at every table to ask how the food was. I thought that was great customer service. I feel he did it on his own accord and this isn't policy and it was a nice touch, he should be commended for going the extra mile. As for the food, I would say a touch pricy. Just a touch though. I found my sandwich to hit the spot. Bread was soft and just the right amount of chewy. Meat wasn't stringy or over cooked and the cheese made a ooey gooey compliment to make it moist. The service was quick and the dining room clean. If I had to make one complaint, if I was being super picky, I'm not a fan of the corn meal? Or what not on the bottom of the bread, I know it's so it doesn't stick to the pan when cooked but it's not my personal preference and at this point it wouldn't really deter me from eating there again. It's a chain yes but I really liked it! read more

Awesome workers. Great place. Food is great. Little pricey for a sub, but hey, you gotta pay if you want good food. I come here almost every day for lunch. read more

I've been watching this area come up in the last couple of months. After passing by it almost daily, I decided to pop in for dinner (well a little after; it was around 7). When I always try a new place, I ask what the staff recommends. I find this is a good litmus test of their product knowledge and friendliness. The gentleman (I think he was the manager) ran through some of the sandwiches with me and I found him very friendly. I ended up ordering the Club Supreme (their roast beef was pitched pretty hard by the guy). They had rosemary parm bread that seemed to be new, so I figured I'd give it a shot. One this not mentioned in the other reviews is they slice the meat before making your sandwich. Yes, I know Jimmy John's does this (I've seen them do it) but not RIGHT before your sandwich is made. In fact, the meats and cheeses are kept in a glass refrigerator akin to a deli. I was debating getting it "Mike's Way", but I saw how much oil and vinegar on it, I pass. I'm not a huge fan of the oil/vinegar combo anyway, but that amount was obscene. The sandwich itself was pretty standard: somewhere above Subway, but below Jimmy John's. The rosemary and oregano combo was WAY overpowering to any of the other ingredient's flavors. Since the roast beef was pitched pretty hard, I took a piece off the sandwich and I tried some by itself. It was nothing special, pretty bland and dry. One thing to note though is the ingredients didn't slip around like with a Jimmy John's sandwich. Bottom line: It's a place I could see myself going to again. Not somewhere I'd go out of my way to get to though. The quality of sandwich wasn't anything special and no real signature to it. It's priced pretty well, but that's about it. read more

I prefer Jersey Mike's to most other sub places around town, especially when talking about hot subs. Their cold subs are on par with Goodcents, which is high praise for me, but I still think it's the hot subs that make them shine. That and their bread - I think they've got the best bread of any chain sub place around. The hot subs are cooked right when you order and each of the ones I've tried has delivered very good flavors. The Philly's are great and have the right amount of cheese combined with generous meat and fresh toppings. The BBQ sandwich was also very good, and they've easily got the Buffalo Chicken wrap/sub of any similar place. The buffalo sauce is actually tasty and when combined with the blue cheese, it really makes for a pleasing meal. I normally avoid buffalo flavored subs at places like this, but Jersey Mike's is the exception. The people working this location seem to be friendly and fast. The manager (at least the man I assume is the manager) is a character and enjoys some back and forth with customers, which only adds to the friendly atmosphere. Especially if you're doing a hot sub, there's always a bit of a wait since they cook it to order, but it doesn't take more than a few minutes. During busier times, you'll obviously have a bit more of a wait, but I've yet to see it get really bad. The staff has always done a good job of moving people along and getting sandwiches out. It can be a little inconvenient to get to, or get out of, depending on which direction you're coming from and which direction you want to go when you leave. It's nothing major, just be careful in the parking lot, it's pretty tight. You can also go back through the neighborhood just a short distance if you want to end up heading north on 48th. For most people, a regular size should be sufficient. They give you a lot of meat and toppings, so it's more food than you might think. I saw a sign saying they're running student deals for $7.29. It's a different sandwich each day, along with chips and a 22 oz drink. I do agree with others saying the amount of oil and vinegar they use can soak through the bread very quickly. If you're going to do that option, you might ask them to go light on it. If you haven't tried Jersey Mike's, give them a shot, especially if you enjoy hot subs. I haven't been disappointed yet. read more

The employee I ordered with was so rude and was constantly cutting me off. The quality of the food was also very bad, the chicken absolutely did not taste or feel like chicken, and another sub of mine was absolutely DRENCHED in oil-gross. read more

What can I say? There is no other place in town that you should be buying subs. The bread here is ALWAYS fresh. Crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. This can NOT be said about most of the other sub shops (especially chains) that are found in Lincoln. Whenever I eat here, I always feel like I'm getting the highest quality products. From the meats, to cheeses, to veggies, I'm always confident that the food will be fresh and tasty. My favorite is the #13. This is about 4 or 5 different meats with cheese, done up "Mike's Way". I find it hard to try anything else here because the #13 is always so amazing. I have tried the Pastrami Reuben, and that was amazing as well. read more

Love this place, it's the only place I will get a cheesesteak or hoagie from in Lincoln (or anywhere other than Philly/Jersey for that matter). I'm from Philadelphia, home of the cheese steak and hoagie. They're the best, if you're from the midwest and want a taste of a real Philly Cheesesteak or Hoagie, this is the place to fulfill your wishes! When friends and family come from out east to visit, they're quite happy with the quality. I took off a star because it's a little pricey and they don't have ketchup. How am I supposed to eat my cheesesteak without ketchup?! Who does that?! Overall, amazing! read more

I was excited about this place. It's ok. Not a very fast place. I have been twice. The first time it was an off time and they have like 5 people working and seemed like it took forever for them to make two sandwiches. Mind you it was just my husband and I in line. I decided to get it "jersey mike" style with oil and vinegar and from the time they made it until I unwrapped at my table the bottom bread was gross and soggy. When I ask for the same at Goodcents I've never had it sog up the bread. 2nd ting went in a little busier and def took a long time. Did I mention the place is so small and awkward when waiting in line you are standing directly next to a person at a table? Well it is. It's a little pricey. I may go back but never will I crave it. The last gripe about this place is I'm disturbed how they place the sandwiches directly on the counter instead of a cutting board. They do put it on a cutting board when they do the toppings but then it grosses me out they keep cutting sandwiches never cleaning off the knife from one sub to the next. read more

Love the variety of sandwiches and great customer service. Craving a hot or cold sandwich this is the place to go.

Their version of Mike's way leaves the bread completely soaked in vinegar. After a remake the sandwich was excellent as expected.

This has happened to me several times, THERE IS NO PLACE TO PARK!!! Today I drove around several times and decided to leave and there were cars backed up out onto 50th Street and couldn't even get out of the parking lot. People were honking their horns and tempers were starting to flare. I almost called police to come out and settle your mess. I have given up on trying to come there for a sub. As in the past I will just go to one of the other sub shops for a sandwich and won't be a Jersey Mike's. read more

Would highly recommend the chipotle cheese steak (#43) on white. It is the best cheese steak I have ever had and I get it every time I go!

Love Jersey Mike's Subs, Just not this one, order a wrap with bacon, get my wrap no bacon. Ask the manager if i pay extra for the bacon guy cooking say oops sorry forgot, that's OK people make a mistake, what bothers me is the manger did not offer a refund, (@ 1.59 per) instead goes to the bucket of bacon and brings it over to me like what am i going to do with it go back over to my wrap break it open and crumble the bacon into it. Do not understand the thought process of people in management position, will now go to fire house subs when in that area or Jimmy John's read more
