This place is way too expensive for the quality of food I got yesterday afternoon. I ordered two sandwiches, a 17 and a salami with no cheese. Both sandwiches were made incorrectly, the 17 was missing an ingredient I requested and the salami had cheese even though i requested no cheese, and was missing a condiment. The nasty part was the 17 looked like it was cooked on a dirty grill, and in the sandwich were 2 end pieces of 2 onions....the 17 was inedible and was thrown out. This review is about the maintenance & sanitation practices of the fountain drink dispenser performed by the store associates at this specific location. My husband and I stopped in for a quick bite between 12-2 last Sunday and when I filled our beverage cup with a clear soda, there were black particles floating in the beverage! I went back to the counter, showed the young man what was in my cup and asked if I could please exchange my fountain beverage for a sealed canned beverage due to the fact that I was uncomfortable drinking mysterious floating black particles. He refused stating there was a price difference. I stated I was happy to pay the difference as the fountain dispenser was clearly not being maintained in a sanitary fashion. He again refused and began arguing with me about it. Not only did he refuse my request to pay the difference for a sealed beverage but he wanted to argue about the facts that were floating in my drink and said the machine is cleaned every day. There is no way that this machine is being properly maintained if black particles are coming out of the nozzle. I then watched him grab a dirty rag from behind the counter and pretend to clean the nozzle. Only afterwards did he offer me a clean cup, which I did not want as I had clearly stated I was uncomfortable consuming anything from that machine. Then he grudgingly offered up the canned beverage which I declined. Whoever owns this place should seriously coach the staff on sanitation practices or someone is going to get seriously ill from consuming their products. This place is seriously gross. If this is how they treat the fountain machine, I can only imagine what their food storage is like. Will never return to this place. Yuck!! read more

The lady making the sandwiches piled lettuce onto a sandwich with like 4 different kinds of meat, then realized the sandwich wasn't supposed to have lettuce, so she scraped it off and put it back into the lettuce bin. I arrive and they are either closing early, preparing to close early or having to close because they are out of bread (this has happened more than once). Went tonight (11/1/2023) and the door was locked at 7:50pm, an hour before they are supposed to close. S**t service! We were in a hurry and luckily the first ones in line but of course the service was slow due to the mentally challenged people working there. We weren't acknowledged until we said that we'd like to order. The guy working there said the female Sophia was going to help us. So we ordered and Sophia started on our sandwiches when another customer arrived and she took her order and began making hers without finishing our order and cashing us out. This was upsetting cause we mentioned that we were in a hurry. Anyways, I was kind of grossed out as one of the workers who accidentally dropped my bread and instead of tossing it he put it on the counter as if nothing happend then another worker told him to throw it away, like really?? I'm reviewing the chain and not just a specific location. SO- Jersey Mike's is consistently across the board DEEEEELICIOUS!! I get the Big Italian, giant size on Saturdays because they split it into four separate sections and they will wrap the sections separately so eating is a bit easier. My sub I get without the pepperoni because it doesn't agree with my system but it doesn't take away a thing. Crisp lettuce shreds, juicy red tomatoes add to the experience, blending with the sauce and meats. And when I don't eat all of it, it's even better the next day. Way to go JM!! read more

I went into Jersey Mike's after seeing how long the line was for Dutch Bros and decided to eat a sandwich instead of getting a coffee. It was a cold rainy day and the staff that day really brightened up my day! MODI was the one who made my sandwiches and she really did a great job, it was literally like watching art happen. Whoever the manager for this store, please give her a raise or something because that is definitely some of the best customer service I have ever had and she really makes me want to visit this Jersey Mike's more often. The other staff there were really nice and courteous as well! I forgot their names, I'm SORRY, but it was a young man and a young woman. I really appreciate them all being very patient with me because sometimes I don't know what I want and I like to ask opinions lol, they didn't seem annoyed or anything. Anyway...for the sandwiches. I got both my sandwiches toasted. I went to past Jersey Mike's and they would only toast my bread, but here Modi toasted the bread, meat, and cheese! It was delicious. This was our first time here at this location. We came at the right time because right after we ordered a lot of people came in after church on a Sunday afternoon. There was a new employee and she said I am sorry but I don't know how to use the slicer yet. The next employee was energetic and engaging! She asked if we had any plans today, and I replied to enjoy my lunch, then she said that is the best answer. Sadly wasn't wearing a name tag, I would compliment her on her caring and friendly attitude. I had a number 13 sub in a tub, with extra lettuce, and vinegar. Jersey Mikes email club sends out deals via email and this location is listed on the list of participating restaurants however when you go to the location they tell you that they were told they weren't accepting those email dead at the locations in the district. If you don't participate in deals then as a company make that known using the participating locations link on the website so customers don't waste their time going here. I'm sure another restaurant will be happy to take the $60 I'm spending on dinner. Last Visit to this location! Todays date 1/21/23 Jersey Mike's on Highland and Sierra in Fontana. With things being so expensive these days, when we choose to eat out, we expect to get our moneys worth. Being a family of 5, paying over $60 for sandwiches, you would expect the quality, and service to be above and beyond. We have never had an issue with this specific location, but today was a lot different. I ordered 4 subs to go. 2- Regular Philly cheese on white, a Regular Turkey and provolone on white, and 1-Giant 12 on white which was mine. Once all the sandwiches were ready, I paid the total with a tip. We get home, which is 10 minutes away, I open my sandwich and the bread was Rosemary Parmesan. I am allergic to cheese. I know that people make mistakes, and it's a little frustrating having to drive back to rectify things, but hey, it is what it is. I get back to the store, let the manager know what had happened, and he said that I would have to wait 12 minutes for white bread because they were out and making more. I then asked if they gave me Rosemary Parmesan because they were out of white bread, and he replied with, " I don't know because I just got back from break!" As soon as I finished asking that question, the girl who took my order turned and walked to the back. The manager immediately offered a refund, didn't bother to ask the staff what had happened, and showed no sincerity. Again, I was asked if I wanted to wait, or get a refund. I would've gladly waited to have my sandwich remade with fresh white bread, but was immediately turned off by the lack of concern. I chose the refund and went next door to Cafe Rio. I think the franchisee should be highly concerned with this type of service, especially where the economy is and with the way prices are these days. Highly Disappointed! read more

Wow! Awesome staff. I came through here I work in the field so I'm in various places. Right before the lunch rush 3 young ladies were all working place was clean and they all were just happy. Some guy just came in yelling about his bad experience over the phone because he couldn't get a price. These poor girls were just doing there job and he was yelling about jimmy johns and was just out of line. But all the girls kept there cool and smiles with all the customers. I was once a manager and I can tell you they handled it very very well. They are a perfect example of good establishments should be. Good job ladies!
