I'm sitting here still stunned. I ordered a sandwich from this location Mike's Way. I guess today that meant using a liter of olive oil. Really don't think it was possible to make a sandwich using this much oil. 75% of the outside of the bread was covered in it. The inside? Swimming. I find that JM usually uses way more than the local mom and pop places, but today was just silly. If you like your sandwich with more oil than the Middle East, this is your spot. Ain't no thing like a Jersey thing baby. Whenever I'm looking for a great sub I know I can always put Mike's on my foodie finder radar. And while it's true that all these shops tend to vary from store to store, this particular location is definitely a solid choice for any hot or cold sandwich option you happen to be craving.   On my first visit here I grabbed up a 56 Big Kahuna Cheese Steak which came loaded with Grilled Onions, Peppers, Mushrooms, Jalapeños, and Extra Cheese with Tender Juicy Beef Steak for the win. Can't never go wrong ordering that classic hand held deliciousness.   2nd visit had my mouth watering for an Italian sub which they stacked nicely with Ham, Provolone, Prosciuttini, Cappacuola, Salami, and Pepperoni. Plus I added Banana Peppers and a bag of Miss Vickie's Jalapeño Chips to help keep my super delicious Italian Sandwich company. Walking into the store at 12:25pm on March 1st whoever was in charge of cutting the deli meat (young man with cross earring) decided he was going to disrespect his own coworker and tell him to get outta the way. So clearly he was already in a bad mood. Then when we didn't hear the other girl asking what we wanted on the sandwich she decided to just take the person behind us. Then proceeded to laugh with her coworker and talk about us while we were standing there. I explained I didn't hear them ask what we wanted on the sandwich and the two coworkers continued to talk and laugh about us while we were standing there. Honestly, you should probably choose one of the many local delis instead of this place - we wish we had. We opted for Jersey Mike's because my son requested it after a practice. The online order was missing an item. In addition, I after a few bites of my sub, I noticed a short, grey hair in it. Beyond gross. I never leave reviews but couldn't let this slide. ordered food from here over phone app. been doing so for years. walked in 10 minutes after due. place empty. one employee idle. i let him know my name for the pick up. He looks around. finds the two sandwiches lying on the shelf above the oven. grabs them slowly and then tosses them on the counter. No bag for $30 worth of food i bought. As for the beverages, chips etc? All are supposed to be in the bag. "You can get it yourself" he drawled. i do. i leave. i get home. one of sandwiches is full of onions and peppers. Hate both. i'd expressly asked for none. i drive back. i hand him the sandwich. i explain the error. i just ask for the $10 or more refund. Now he's going through the receipt and claims that yeah, it's full of onions and I did indeed ask for none. But he adds that i had asked peppers be omitted from the other sandwich not this one. I'm surprised that I haven't visited this Jersey Mikes location before today even though I live less than 1 mile away. I really liked the online ordering experience and I was surprised that they had my 5 sandwiches ready in 12 minutes. My Italian sandwich was fresh and very tasty. Sandwiches are always great from Jersey Mike's. *If* they are made correctly per order. I've tried reaching customer service twice to simply provide feedback about 3 (out of 3!) incorrectly made subs. Never heard back from anyone. Again the subs were still great- just not what we ordered. We always take out so no comment on ambiance. read more

The Big Kahuna sub was really good. The ingredients tasted fresh, and it was made well. The reason they lost two stars is because the guy in the back dealing with food had his mask around his neck, and the guy working in the front had the mask below his nose. People that make an effort to come in and place an order should be taken care of first and not have to wait until they fill the online orders. The wait is ridiculous and rude. I understand that business can get busy especially during lunch hours. I fully appreciate the frustration that comes along with being shorthanded. What is unacceptable is a loud, harshly toned greeting announcing to the customers present that I and those in my company will not be served. This place makes classic subs, way better than places like Subway. Always had good food here except once the roll was kind of stale. I remember the original in Point Pleasant when I was a kid, but there is no way to compare then and now, especially as I would only eat the roast beef and the only topping I would have with it was salt. The quality of the meat seems good, again better than other chains. I like the Jersey Shore Favorite, the original Italian and of course the good old roast beef (but now I like it with everything). Cheesesteak (Mike's Famous Philly) was OK but excellent cheesesteaks are hard to come by. It's best to order via the app because you'll stand there for a while otherwise and I've noticed some of the help with incorrectly worn masks. read more

Just moved to town. Will never visit this place again. Every single staff member had a chip on their shoulder. The girl with the orange hair, nose ring and glasses seemed put out when customers ordered food. She rolled her eyes when I asked a question about my sandwich. I asked for the owners name and they said they don't franchise out. I went to the website and it says they do. Hard to believe the bum in the back was the manager of the joint, but then again maybe not. If he was in fact the store manager I can understand why it's so poorly run. read more

Just left after trying Jersey Mikes for the first time. Sadly, I was highly disappointed. I believe this used to be a subway at one point. I had their tuna sub. Unfortunately, it tasted like the same low quality tuna as the previous occupants. The thing that really got me was the lack of sanitary standards. My bread was placed on the board as is, while the person that was in line after me had wax paper placed in between the board and the bread. I think the standards set by management should be in place for all customers. I don't think I'll be returning to this particular location. I've been to about a dozen other Jersey Mike's in this state and I've come to expect a standard of service and product. I was helped by a new employee or a veteran but either way, customer service was lacking tremendously. A training issue or personality shortcoming? Doesn't matter... There's no excuse or reason to place someone in a customer-facing position if they aren't cut out for the job or not ready or trained properly. I hope they read this and grow. read more

This particular Jersey Mike's has been open for several months now, and they still don't have their act together yet. Every time I go it's very disorganized and DIRTY! And again today, there was a sandwich on the floor behind the meat case - it looked like maybe one of the workers dropped it and just left it there, or somebody threw it there (paper wrapper, a receipt, meat, melted cheese, pickles, etc...) and yet the three workers continued to step over it while nobody bothered to clean it up. I'm not sure why this place has such bad reviews - it's awesome! I usually can't help but to get a chicken ceasar wrap whenever I come here, but today I ordered a cheese steak and it was on point. Just the right amount of cheese, onions, & peppers. The bread was super soft and yummy too, which is a big factor in where I get a sandwich from. I will definitely keep coming back! read more

These guys are the best! We needed two boxes of subs in a pinch and they delivered them with fast, courteous service.

I have been to a number of Jersey Mike's throughout New Jersey. This one is truly exceptional. I was unable to get in during their opening week because it was fairly busy however decided to stop by on Sunday just to see how it was coming along. The service was excellent and the manager make sure he greeted everyone coming in and made them feel at home. When asked what I should have he even made some suggestions to me. We tried three and they were all very very good. This is a welcome addition to the Chatham area and complements the many other establishments nicely. I will be back read more
